Born in NYC, conceived at Woodstock.
It's my first time in a strip club so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do or how much to tip.

Yeah I hate the clubs where the customers are trying to be the center of attention. The only people in a club that should be trying to get people to see them are the dancers.

The only thing I know about the club is what was in the article. It seems like there has been a lot of violence associated with what seems to be a higher end club. Is anyone familiar with the club to know if it has a lot of drug use /drug dealing or gangs connected to it? Otherwise it seems odd to have that much violence at a high end club.

They never tell you what you need to know.
I'm in my early 40s and I don't give my death much thought, but I am prepared for it to happen so that it doesn't become too much of a logistical hassle for my family. After watching my great uncle go through alzheimers and then die without a wife or any children and seeing what a mess his funeral planning and estate became I vowed that I would never put my family through that mess. I have had a will, advanced healthcare directives, beneficiaries for all of my policies and my bank accounts set up to transfer upon my death since my early 30s and I review and update that information every couple of years with my attorney.
I plan to donate my organs and any tissue they can use and have the rest cremated. My will asks for my ashes to be spread along the shore of the pond on my property. Beyond that, my family knows that the closest thing I want to a funeral is for them to all get together just to make sure they have a chance to grieve together if they want. If they don't feel the need to grieve for me they can all just get together to eat, drink and visit with each other.

Cincinnati- they ran all of the clubs in this part of the state out of business with the regulations they imposed that were drafted by the same people that sued Larry Flynt trying to shut down Hustler magazine.. The only clubs left are across the river in Northern KY and they are bikini clubs that aren't allowed to show anything you wouldn't see at a public beach.

If you count having them in my car I have. I generally have at least one condom in my car at all times. I usually only get them out of the glove box when I am going somewhere I expect to need one, such as certain strip clubs, but it is always a good idea to have them nearby just in case. Luckily I do some sort of p4p often enough that I have never had them expire on me.

The used to be a great full service massage place called Body Sensations in Louisville that had a website that showed off each of their current "massage therapists" and let you book whichever girl you wanted. Sadly they closed back in 2021 (owner died from what I heard) and I haven't found a good place since then.
Unfortunately, in most places they can't be quite so open about their advertising as that place was.

not the real drew carey, but I play him at strip clubs...
Not as often as before covid since I don't travel for work as often thanks to video conferencing being the norm now but I still go about once a month on average.

Papi you are making a huge assumption in thinking that politicians are interested in there being a future of sex work. Most of them would love to eliminate it entirely. To them saying that the "best solution for the future of the sex industry may be if sex-work was made legal ... to clean-up a lot of the shady-shit that goes on in too many clubs" is like saying the "best solution for the future of the heroin industry may be if heroin was made legal and regulated to prevent fentanyl contamination in the supply."

I am shocked! Absolutely shocked that politicians would do this! Well, actually I am not shocked at all.
I knew about most of the restrictions that are discussed for Kenton County, KY but this is the first I have heard about limiting conversations with the dancers. I know most, if not all, of the Kenton County clubs have already closed. I know The Pad, Viva La Foxx, Venus, Liberty and a few others have closed since I started clubbing, not sure if Concepts is still open or not. They spent more than a decade slowly ruining the clubs in Covington.

The local clubs here in Cincinnatiare terrible so I club when I am out of town for work which is usually about once a month and most trips are 3-5 days. If it is a city where extras are available I'll usually only go on once and spend $500-600. If it is a city without extras I'll usually do 2-3 visits during my time there and spend $100-200 per visit and about $500-600 for the week.

If you were happy with the price and she was happy with the price it sounds like you paid exactly the right amount.

If I'm happy with the dance I'm going to tip. It's about how much I think the dance was worth. If it was what I'd consider $25 worth I am giving her $25 regardless of if it is a $10 or $20 per song club.

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
The same reasoning as to why the Dems didn't pass any meaningful gun control legislation, immigration reform or address many of their other priorities when the controlled the House, Senate and Oval Office. Both sides just want to keep their talking points in place to bash the other side in the next election. They both care more about that than they do about actually addressing the things they say they want addressed.

When you find the one you love marry her. There is one woman I wish I was still with almost 20 years later but I was too stupid to realize how great she was until after I screwed up and lost her. We are still good friends today but she is happily married with kids.
If you can't marry the one you love you can always have fun paying the ones you are attracted to at the clubs. Not quite as good as marrying the one you love but still a lot of fun.

Shadowcat you forgot to mention that you are middle class (or higher) and worked most of your life to support yourself and your family while paying your taxes.

Let's list a few of his "highlights" that people seem to "forget" about during his violent career from the 1960s all the to the early 2000s:
Tried to murder a model by throwing her off of a balcony.
Several accusations of rape that went nowhere because of his fame at the time.
Assaulted a sheriff's deputy.
Choked out his golfing partner over a disagreement on the course.
Vandalized his wife's car while threatening to kill her and then chooses to be sentenced to jail instead of attending court ordered domestic violence training.
He was nothing but another violent asshole that people are willing to overlook his crimes because he was a talented athlete. The world is better off without this scum.

Misterorange was almost right but he left off a few things.
Start by reading reviews to determine which club to try this at.
The denomination of the bill you wrap around your dick will vary based on the size of your dick. The larger the dick the small amount if money needed. I'd assume you should try at least a couple of hundred dollar bills to start for the OP.

Everyone has a story
If you aren't necessarily looking for extras Gatsby's and Peppermint Hippo are the two clubs with the best looking dancers. Christie's down in Canton is also worth a visit and only about a 20-25 minute drive.

When she either gets burned out with the lifestyle or stops making more money in the club than she can make elsewhere based on her education and skills.
Or when their goal is met. I had a favorite for a couple of years who started dancing at 26 after divorcing the guy she married when she was 18. Stripping was her secondary job (primary was some type of sales) and her goal with dancing was to pay off the house she had after the divorce which she told me she owed about $75k on it after the outcome of the divorce. She danced 2-3 nights per week for about 6 years until she paid off the house and then she left dancing for good. If every stripper was as good with their money as she was there would be a lot of wealthy former strippers out there.

Depends on what you are looking for, but overall Ohio clubs aren't all that great.
Best stage show - either Diamonds in Dayton or Hustler in Cleveland.
Best regular lapdances - either Cheeks in Dayton or Columbus Gold in Columbus.
Best extras - Palace in the Pines in Lowellville. Most Akron area clubs are also easy to get cheap extras but the dancer quality leaves a lot to be desired.
Best value - Vanity in Columbus on Sundays and Tuesdays for their $10 dances.

Way too many to list so here are the first ones to come to mind.
Camelot in Lexington was always fun and there were virtually no limits to the fun.
Green Light, Bottoms Up and Dollhouse in Louisville, they were never high end clubs but you could always find at least 1 or 2 good looking girls willing to do extras for a decent price.
Sirens in Columbus was a great club for a non-extras club. Good looking girls, good mileage (for the city it was in) and you could sometimes get some good OTC candidates.
Living Room, Pazzazz and Harem in Dayton. It was a shame to see a vibrant club scene in Dayton virtually eliminated within just over a year.
Rumors in the Eastgate area of Cincinnati. It was the only decent club within a reasonable drive from my house.

If I enjoy the dance I tip for it. The amount may vary depending on how much I enjoy it. Sometimes it's $5 on a $25-30 dance, sometimes it's $40-50 on a $100 worth of dances, the better the service the better the tip. If the dance socks I'm not tipping regardless of if she asks or not.
Personally I hope none of the other customers in the club are tipping because it will make me look better to the girls I'm interested in. If the other customers don't like me tipping then fuck them. I'll keep the girls I like happy with my tips and they can beg the others for a dance.
