Dancer I dated years ago told me of one night back when she was in college and was dancing (her family didn't know she was dancing), her dad and brother came in. She didn't see them come in and was doing a tip round when she walked up behind them sitting at the bar, and when they turned around she said it was a weird delayed reaction from all three of them. She said that not a word was said, that the two of them just got up and left. Last I spoke with her about it she said that nothing was ever said (I think the old man was more worried about his wife finding out that he had been to a go go bar more that the girl was dancing there).

Jackslash, I agree. Amazing how some clubs can go on for years and everyone knows it's a "full menu" joint (sometimes openly), and how others get busted for the smallest infraction.

Had a busy of mine that was a bouncer for a while at a club in upper New York State, and management would suspend habitually late dancers for a week to "teach them a lesson"! Problem was, the lesson was that there were other clubs in the area that they could try out and not have to worry about missing their shift at the other place.

No, but had just left one when I saw the black and whites coming up the street. Saw on news later that night that they had been busted for prostitution and having several underage dancers (I thought a couple looked awful young). Good thing I didn't hang around to get that dance that evening!

Years ago I dated a stripper (started dating her before I knew what she did, thought for about 3 months she just worked in a bar she went to college in, story for anouther her day). After I had found out how she was making money (club was just a go go bar without private dances) we had some pretty interesting discussions, one of which was her opinion of men who go to strip clubs. For the most part, she liked the customers (some single and some married) and understood that most were there just to relax after work and have a pretty girl talk to them. Her problem was with the married guys that openly tried to have sex with her and the other girls, and those guys she downright hated. As she put it, it was a matter of respect, and if they didn't have enough respect for anyone else, then screw'em!

I don't every "plan" on retiring (I love my job), but the company has told me that my services wont be required past 65. After that, I will have all sorts of free time to go to the SC!

As said earlier and in my experiance, mostly the day shift dancers are single mothers, dancers that have to be home at night, or dancers that cannot make it during the night shift and are hungrier for cash. IME the night shift girls are usually hotter, but they either usually make a crapload of cash from just the pure volume of cheap dances or are there just to have fun and just don't do that. There are of coarse always exceptions to the rule, though.

I agree, I hate being the only one there. It can get really expensive really quick if you are the only one there to tip. Also, a lot of the clubs I go to the girls won't get up to dance if there are not a couple of customers to tip them. And forget about getting some action in the back, the other dancers get jealous that you didn't take them back, and without other customers there the bouncers and/or managers tend to "check in" on you more!

I can't see myself waiting for just one 18 months either, but if after that time the opportunity arose, I was sure to jump at it. Had one that I worked for about 2 years (not seriously, though, thought it was never going to happen). One night i came into the club and she told me how her car wouldn't pass inspection, her rent was overdue, and that she was afraid that she was going to have to get a second job. After some chit chat she offered for me to come over to her place after her shift for some OTC action. She insisted that it was only going to be a one time deal. That was about 3 years ago, still see her about once or twice a month. Once she realized that it was that easy to supplement her income, she never looked back.

Papi, I do agree that events like this do detract from the regular "strip club experiance", but it is also nice to help mix it up a little bit if the club is starting to get a "stail" feeling to it. I have also see that some of the regular dancers durring and after the event tend to give a little bit better service, don't know if it's that they feel threatened (their regular customers get to see new dancers or what) by the other girls or what, but it tends to be a good time afterwards. There is one club in the area I'm at that does allow the "amateurs" to do private dances, but for the most part they are monitored heavily because they know that these girls really have minimal to loose if they break the rules (except not being allowed to participate in the future).

Sounds like to me she needs to make some money quick and is looking for someone to help her with that. IME if you don't jump at the opportunity now it won't be there later when she is in a better situation.

Just got a private message from someone who didn't want his ID known since he managed a club but he told me that they quit having real amateurs for amateur night because most were actually working girls looking for new clients. They knew that if they allowed "professional" dancers that at least they could control it somewhat. Interesting thought

I agree, any review (as long as honest) is good. I do feel that there are plenty of fake reviews and club employees/club owners posting bias comments, and if possible we need to weed them out.

Club, I do agree. It's a great way to scout talent from other clubs. What I have found, though, is a lot of the dancers that compete from other clubs tend to move around a lot and they use amateur nights to check out other clubs.
As far as calling them guest dancer nights, no club owner is going to do that, it's admitting that other clubs have better girls.
