Did I miss something? I was under the impression that IC's such as most dancers, and gig economy workers, were allowed to apply for unemployment benefits under these newly changed rules.

I suspect that the OP will find this hard to believe given his general disdain for the clubs in WV but the winner in my book would have to be a night some years back ago at the now-closed JB's in Anmoore/Clarksburg WV. It was the first time for me at this club. I was unaware that "extras" were a thing since up til that time most of my mongering had been done at the relatively tame Washington DC clubs. On this night FS was offered. I passed on that but I ended up with a BBBJ. Probably not the smartest move I could have made but I left a happy camper...(although as a result of this transaction I lost out on the dances that I had pre-paid for...lol).

Many years ago I fell for the "I get my tip in advance" line at a club with pre-paid dances. So I was already out $250 with nothing to show for it.

To be clear the $20 entry fee on Friday and Saturday is only prior to 9:30. At that point it becomes $30.

At one of the clubs I frequent I know one dancer who travels approximately 65 miles to work. I worry about how she gets home sometimes because she definitely likes to party in in the club. In her case, just as Papi said above, there aren't any clubs near her and she's worked at this location a long time. So it must be worth it to her.

If I were to ever get to TJ I think I would feel like TFP. The one time I tried a double here locally I felt like I had thrown away my money. Def not worth the extra investment.

Where I was at a huge club in West By God Virginia (review forthcoming) it was more dancers than custies at around 9:30 when I arrived 12 dancers/10 custies. The crowd picked up somewhat by the time I was headed out at around midnight. But it was no where near full. My first time there so I have no point of reference for a Friday night.

By way of a follow up, it turns out they did nothing to the men's room. It's still as nasty and decrepit as ever. My advice is to either bring your own hand sanitizer or take a break and head back to the McDonald's near the Beltway exit at 450 to use their rest room. You can also get a $1 any size soda there currently, which is a bargain IMHO :)
I was also told on a recent visit that there has been some talk of expanding back into the old space. IDK if that is going to happen or if it's just idle chatter at this point.

The first time in a club where "extras" were offered. At that point in time my mongering was limited to "non-extras" clubs. I was traveling out of state this time. She was hot MILFy dancer who said she regularly worked at another club in a different part of the state that had the same ownership, but was traveling that weekend. We hit it off pretty well chatting at the bar and then getting some dances. But I was baffled by the logistics of either 1) hooking up in my car somewhere, or 2) getting back to my hotel with her and then back to the club, so I declined. It was not until a good bit later that I realized that she meant ITC. No one would have known. The upstairs VIP area was deserted except for the 2 of us and there were no cameras AFAIK. **Sigh**.

My recent experience was she said it was to let me feel her boobs in a club where booby touching is technically not on the menu in the LD area or anywhere else ITC.

Mid afternoon is somewhat hit or miss. Royal Palace in DuPont Circle area of DC is OK but no lap dances. They did have 2 for 1 beers at HH the last time I was there. It's also Metro accessible on the Red Line. So you would not have to deal with traffic/parking. If you are really wanting LDs and you're limited to mid afternoon you're probably better off going to Baltimore if you don't mind driving a bit. If you can wait until evening Showcase in Beltsville MD is a good bet and not too far out from DC, although it is pricey and a little bit tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area. Good luck. Please post a review of wherever you end up going.

Depends on your definition of celebrity. Many years ago I saw Phil Chenier, the longtime color guy on the Washington Bullets/Wizards TV broadcasts, at Archibald's in DC after a game.

@orionsmith Because it's Virginia there really isn't much to see. It's a pasties club. And if you're seated at the bar your back is toward the stage.
