    Atheists and Theists...
@alucard. face it. you come out of the shallow end of the gene pool and will never have the intellect to understand the nature of existence no matter how much you wave your PBS science entertainment programs around like some born again preacher waves the good book. it is simply too much for your tiny little brain. if you want to pretend to understand science then you should start with something like this that is less taxing and at least applies to you in your daily miserable life such as it is: http://www.frontiersinzoology.com/content/10/1/80/abstract Abstract (provisional) Introduction Several mammalian species spontaneously align their body axis with respect to the Earth's magnetic field (MF) lines in diverse behavioral contexts. Magnetic alignment is a suitable paradigm to scan for the occurrence of magnetosensitivity across animal taxa with the heuristic potential to contribute to the understanding of the mechanism of magnetoreception and identify further functions of magnetosensation apart from navigation. With this in mind we searched for signs of magnetic alignment in dogs. We measured the direction of the body axis in 70 dogs of 37 breeds during defecation (1,893 observations) and urination (5,582 observations) over a two-year period. After complete sampling, we sorted the data according to the geomagnetic conditions prevailing during the respective sampling periods. Relative declination and intensity changes of the MF during the respective dog walks were calculated from daily magnetograms. Directional preferences of dogs under different MF conditions were analyzed and tested by means of circular statistics. Results Dogs preferred to excrete with the body being aligned along the North-south axis under calm MF conditions. This directional behavior was abolished under Unstable MF. The best predictor of the behavioral switch was the rate of change in declination, i.e., polar orientation of the MF. Conclusions It is for the first time that (a) magnetic sensitivity was proved in dogs, (b) a measurable, predictable behavioral reaction upon natural MF fluctuations could be unambiguously proven in a mammal, and (c) high sensitivity to small changes in polarity, rather than in intensity, of MF was identified as biologically meaningful. Our findings open new horizons in magnetoreception research. Since the MF is calm in only about 20 % of the daylight period, our findings might provide an explanation why many magnetoreception experiments were hardly replicable and why directional values of records in diverse observations are frequently compromised by scatter.

@SlickSpic “Notice how Dr. Phil switched Farmerarts' point about European's importing African slaves to the America's into African slaves into Europe and vice-versa?” i don’t think that Moorish slaver trader blood flowing through your body is getting to your brain. farmerart’s point was that Europe imported African slaves to Europe before they began the trade to the Americas. “The Portuguese started importing slaves from Africa in the mid-1400s.” ever hear that Columbus sailed to the Americas in 1492 which coincidentally came after the mid-1400s? dumbass. i didn’t switch anything but commented specifically about his point. dumbass. @zipman68 oh my. more derision from comicbookguy. i’m so......so.....so ROTFLMFAO facts do not cease to exist because you want to ignore them. you're nothing but a cunt zipman, always were, always will be, but a dumb cunt is good fun, and i'm just ragging on a you because you’ve been behaving like a jumped up little internet prick with no sense of humour and in desperate need of some KFC shoved up your bunghole to sort yourself out. but seriously comicbookguy, besides yourself there are maybe 15 other people who even bother to read the shit you post, so why do you invest so much time and energy trying to change the thinking of people who are mostly: a) better educated than you? b) more experienced in the world than you? c) smarter than you? d) more discerning than you? e) infinitely more interesting than you? now i’m sure you have a star trek party to get ready for (is anyone else coming btw?) so i’ll let you go work on your costume now. dumbass

@zipman68. denigration won't alter the fact that you're as funny as a day old shit. @farmerart “Slavery existed in Europe before the European colonization of North America. The Portuguese started importing slaves from Africa in the mid-1400s.” and more European slaves moved towards Africa via the Moors than African slaves ever moved towards Europe. there were Irish and Cornish pirates who specialised in providing English and European slaves to the Moorish markets well into the 1600s (later to become a musical "The Pirates of Penzance").

Didn't they lose a case on stop and frisk recently?...hardly a progressive policy. And progressives aren't pro-rape.” what, no holier than thou indignation at ilbbaicnl’s bigoted post (which skibum609 was obviously mocking): @ilbbaicnl: “I would have expected cops in a backwater Southern town to think a woman was "asking for it" if she was a stripper and/or intoxicated and/or accepting rides with dirtbags” or is it simply that Southerners, rednecks, hillbillies, coon asses, and christians are fair game for haterade? that is one high horse you are riding around on.

@IronFox22 NASA you say….well skipping over the falsified temperature data that they were caught posting and the mutiny by NASA ***scientists*** publically demanding that the political appointees cease ***advocating*** the global warming scam and that NASA return to honest scientific study so that NASA’s reputation would not be further impuned, there is the ***objective*** data from twenty-five years of the most accurate temperature observation available which is referenced in the article below. http://news.yahoo.com/nasa-data-blow-gaping-hold-global-warming-alarmism-192334971.html New NASA Data Blow Gaping Hole In Global Warming Alarmism By James TaylorJuly 27, 2011 3:23 PM NASA satellite data from the years 2000 through 2011 show the Earth's atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted, reports a new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing. The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed. Study co-author Dr. Roy Spencer, a principal research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and U.S. Science Team Leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA's Aqua satellite, reports that real-world data from NASA's Terra satellite contradict multiple assumptions fed into alarmist computer models. "The satellite observations suggest there is much more energy lost to space during and after warming than the climate models show," Spencer said in a July 26 University of Alabama press release. "There is a huge discrepancy between the data and the forecasts that is especially big over the oceans." In addition to finding that far less heat is being trapped than alarmist computer models have predicted, the NASA satellite data show the atmosphere begins shedding heat into space long before United Nations computer models predicted. The new findings are extremely important and should dramatically alter the global warming debate. Scientists on all sides of the global warming debate are in general agreement about how much heat is being directly trapped by human emissions of carbon dioxide (the answer is "not much"). However, the single most important issue in the global warming debate is whether carbon dioxide emissions will indirectly trap far more heat by causing large increases in atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds. Alarmist computer models assume human carbon dioxide emissions indirectly cause substantial increases in atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds (each of which are very effective at trapping heat), but real-world data have long shown that carbon dioxide emissions are not causing as much atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds as the alarmist computer models have predicted. The new NASA Terra satellite data are consistent with long-term NOAA and NASA data indicating atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds are not increasing in the manner predicted by alarmist computer models. The Terra satellite data also support data collected by NASA's ERBS satellite showing far more longwave radiation (and thus, heat) escaped into space between 1985 and 1999 than alarmist computer models had predicted. Together, the NASA ERBS and Terra satellite data show that for 25 years and counting, carbon dioxide emissions have directly and indirectly trapped far less heat than alarmist computer models have predicted. In short, the central premise of alarmist global warming theory is that carbon dioxide emissions should be directly and indirectly trapping a certain amount of heat in the earth's atmosphere and preventing it from escaping into space. Real-world measurements, however, show far less heat is being trapped in the earth's atmosphere than the alarmist computer models predict, and far more heat is escaping into space than the alarmist computer models predict. When objective NASA satellite data, reported in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, show a "huge discrepancy" between alarmist climate models and real-world facts, climate scientists, the media and our elected officials would be wise to take notice. Whether or not they do so will tell us a great deal about how honest the purveyors of global warming alarmism truly are.

so ok, the “scientists” that assured us of the coming ice age, the hole in the ozone, avian flu pandemics, mass starvation due to Malthusian overpopulation, Y2K, the end of the world due to magnetic poles flipping or something else as predicted by the Mayan calendar, etc, etc, etc ad nauseum were all wrong but i think we really should give this bullshit a chance. what say let’s all meet up at Al Gore’s newly purchased OCEAN FRONT mansion and discuss it. be forewarned though that if you actually believe in the global warming scam then the only logical position to adopt is one of radical population reduction measures and aggressive subjugation of those countries that threaten the survival of the species. i for one recognize it as just another scam to dupe the stupid so for the foreseeable future i won’t be participating in any of your genocidal wet dreams.
