@dalex - if you don't want to pay for sex, don't pay for sex! Declaring that to a forum where a majority of the participating members DO pay for sex probably isn't a good place to find a support group, however. I don't think that someone paying for sex makes them a PL,, it's the attitude they take towards it and the people that they interact with. A guy that's a total misogynist asshole is just as pathetic as a guy that lets someone walk all over him.

@ilbbaicnl - Yeah, I'd rather be honest and potentially lose out on moneh than be in a situation where I could end up being sexually assaulted for a couple hundred bucks. While I am a total ass beater, someone could just squish me ;(
As an aside, while clubs do pressure dancers into not refusing drinks... You can usually get the waitress to water them down. Or, in the case of champagne rooms... Just act all sexy and pour it all over yourself and let another dancer/the waitress lick it off. Works every time.

Yeah, if you're going to shell out that much money you might want to discuss what you'll be getting in advance. You may think that I am a prostitute, but I do not share your beliefs and have no problem asserting myself and my boundaries. I also don't lie to people though, and whenever someone asks if I'm going to blow them in the champagne room I'll tell them no. Girls like the one that made the SW post annoy the hell out of me, it's like they want back pats for being a victim of something that they could have easily walked out on (according to the post).

Ilbbaicnl - Maybe it's different for guys, but I can think of about 10 different reasons off of the top of my head to regret having sex with someone. Like discovering that they have a debilitating heroin addiction, for instance. Or that they already have a girlfriend. I also live in a pretty small town with interconnected social circles, so if I'm going to sleep with someone that everyone I know is going to know about minutes after it happens I'd better make sure I picked a good one, haha.

Lots of escorts dance to attract clients, I have a friend in ATL that did for awhile. From a legal standpoint, it's safer than posting on places like Backpage. Not all traveling dancers are escorts, though.
