Thanks for the review, I had heard they added cameras at DG from one of the dancers. I'd been wanting to go but that part of town can get a little exciting (5th and Hennepin) at night and I just don't feel like messing with it as I like to stay a little later when I'm there (12am - 1am, I try to leave before bar close rush starts)

I was reading that this could become a "black swan event", in that this might cause those countries or groups that don't like the US to be emboldened to push against the US foreign policy. If this happened one of my fears would be the status of the US Dollar as the world currency being replaced by a basket of currencies.
Im not sure if this is true as a true "black swan event" is something no one saw coming but I could see China thinking this is the time to "unify Taiwan by force" which would not be good for anyone (other than the Chinese) as TSMC the worlds largest Semiconductor company would fall under the Chinese govt. not to mention what Japan might do if they did invade Taiwan.

just an FYI I am vaccinated but I feel more information is always good and everyone needs to make their own decisions on this subject.
Israel has studied the effectiveness of the Pfizer vaccine and found that it appears the covid vaccine looses some efficiency over time. The chance of spreading the Delta variant even after being vaccinated goes up as time passes BUT your chances of not getting a severe illness is still quite good.

I will agree with Nicespice, they do monitor the camera and will enforce the no touch rule very aggressively. I have gone back to the VIP a few times and even seen a bouncer watching the VIP cameras that were behind the VIP lounge girl as dances were going on.
one thing i will note, I have never been offered OTC on the floor but have been offered OTC in the VIP (YMMV).

The Lamplighter also has full nude with alcohol in St Paul, unfortunately the stage is behind glass, fortunately (because of COVID) since they dance behind glass you can still sit next to the stage and watch the dancers.

yep, was talking with some other club patrons when I was at the SC last week, rumor is all the younger adults have moved to private parties in place of the bars to have fun. I thought prohibition worked, not sure if closing all the bars will stop the younger crowd from getting together and spreading the COVID (I'm old so i just sit at home)

I hope you are right about the 100 for 15min, it had been 100 for 3 songs (which is about 6 minutes the way they cut songs short). I've had dancers make up rules before so its possible your dancer gave you a special price.
I just don't find myself downtown mpls anymore so Ive been trying to convince myself to check out DG, seems like they kinda stayed the same. Thanks for the review!

The Skyway was one of my favorite clubs downtown, cheap beer and no one cared.. i miss that place.

A good amount I would think ( about the same as you, 500 or so) but on the flip side I will say that Im buying more food at the grocery store and Home Depot and Lowes are liking me a lot more than before. It seems a lot of the money I saved is being spent on me now :)

this thread got me to thinking, the Lamplighter in St Paul has the girls dance behind glass,. because of local city ordnances as they serve alcohol. This could finally work as an advantage to reopening the bar\club... maybe.

I would say yes they are, I would also say if a gun store wanted to close during this time that is their right too.
At this time we're seeing more prisons/jails letting out inmates in an effort to reduce the chances of a widespread infection happening. Also, law enforcement agencies are not arresting criminals that comment petty crimes like theft, vandalism, robbery etc. This could create a slippery slope, in that as criminals find they can get away with more, they will continue down that path.
Most importantly, the US Supreme Court has already ruled that the Police are not required to protect the individual, the police are citizens employed by local govt(s) to enforce laws and ensure the general publics safety ( 1 person is not considered the general public).
As more officers stay at home, get sick or don't want to expose themselves you will see less officers on the street patrolling. We already have some precincts closing their offices to the public and reducing what they will go out for calls on, its up to you to protect yourself, its a personal choice if you want to own a firearm that each of us get to make, thats what makes this county so great.

I looked at 1 draft of the bill and it said 2019 tax return otherwise insert 2018 if you have not filed your 2019 return. So what I gathered it might be 2019 taxes if you have your tax return in by the time the bill gets signed or 2018 if not.
but you are correct Longball300, most of us will not see a stimulus check.

Im guessing someone (owner's son) must have convinced the the club he can make a mint on this setup. Ive never been to Follies but is there off street parking easily available?
I would think at this time you wouldn't want to give your patrons any excuse not to go to the club. In fact I would be a little more cautious of Valet parking as they touch every car that gets parked if I was concerned about the Coronavirus.

I agree, there are more than 10 dancers at the lamp from BJs and a lot of BJ patrons have come over too. (I think one amateur night they hired 10 from BJs alone). There was discussions that the lamp was going to open at 11am again but Im not sure how far that went.

A couple weeks ago I swung by the DG on a Thursday night and Ive also noticed the lights have been turned up a lot in the back bed area. Oh well, maybe it will get better in a couple months.

I did not see the Doll House listed separately from Sex World, basically when you enter Sex World the "store" you could also go and see peep shows (Sinners Doll House). The store is still there, they just closed the peep shows (Doll House).

When it comes to dancers they've heard it all, just ask and they will either be ok with it, ask for VIP or say no and tell all the other Dancers what you asked for. All 3 are fine with me and if she says no and tells the other dancers the dancer thats ok with your requests should come by and ask if you want any dances.

This past summer I was at one of my favorite clubs and I noticed a guy talking on his phone (this club allows use of your phone inside but does have signs no cameras, etc and strippers will grab a bouncer if they think you are taking pics).
well, as the guy is walking around talking on his phone he must not have realized when he turned on the video recording it had turned on the phone camera light as it was shinning everything as he walked by.
Yes, it was very creepy.

Ive had the same problem where one of my favorites wasn't responding to my texts asking if she was working that night as I was going to be in the area. I later found out someone had stolen her phone and she was in the process of getting it replaced and the info restored. Im sure it was just a burner phone but I've noticed strippers lose or get their shit stolen every other day it seems.
