Have you ever tried to secretly film a private dance with your phone camera or brought a tiny spy cam into a club, and gotten away with filming the dancers?
Did you get away with it? Was the footage any good? What is your strategy?
You should just ask her if you can film and offer a big tip. I've seen guys do that. As for filming her having sex with you without her knowledge, that can be grounds for the police getting involved. ....There's a definite legal cause of action there... and depending on what you do with the recording there can be serious repercussions....harassment, distress, misappropriation...Plus in many states, voyeurism is a misdemeanor...
Hey Papi and C.M.I., how about all the SC and retail businesses, restaurants, etc., that video record us from the parking lot and into and throughout the establishment without any warning signs or even implied consent. Many municipalities are recording their outdoor downtown areas. Oh yeah, let's not forget the casinos. I think everyone would be surprised at how often and extensively they are recorded. That's what should be creeping everybody out.
The implication here is that it doesn't creep me out, when in fact it does. I'm not even remotely a fan of widespread surveillance. I regard "1984" to be a horror novel as much as it is literary.
That said, I still think it's creepy to secretly film inside of a strip club.
Here's another point. Every so often a strip club lands in hot water because some dumb dick-clot with a smartphone manages to shoot naughty footage, posts it to social media, and it turns into a salacious local news story.
Saying it's ok to film inside strip-clubs makes as much sense as having windows in strip-clubs.
Getting filmed walking down the hallway of a mall is different than filming someone in the bathroom doing their business.
And the intentions for filming at a retail store are not the same as filming naked women inside a club - their is a legit reason/need for the former in terms of safety etc.
The Video Voyeurism Act of 2004 comes into play as well as local voyeurism laws...
A strip club isn't like a mall...its sort of like a restroom, where while the public may enter, teh fact that its a place where someone can undress, there is the expectation of privacy. A strip club is a place where women can safely strip without worrying about voyeurs, misappropriation of their image or their personal safety. Depending on what you do with the film.....say you use it for sexual gratification or sell it. thats a class e felony...
Whenever I see a creepy message I assume the OP started thier account a month ago, but May 2014 cannotgoogleme? Is being creepy a new years resolution?
Are you asking because you want advice or just because you wanted to see what kind of responses you would get? With a username like cannotgoogleme I would think you value the right to privacy.
Also, secretly recording a dance is basically stealing from the dancer. You are dramatically increasing what you get out of the experience without compensating her. She might let you record if you offer a big tip, but you would probably have to hide it from management.
This past summer I was at one of my favorite clubs and I noticed a guy talking on his phone (this club allows use of your phone inside but does have signs no cameras, etc and strippers will grab a bouncer if they think you are taking pics).
well, as the guy is walking around talking on his phone he must not have realized when he turned on the video recording it had turned on the phone camera light as it was shinning everything as he walked by.
I read that Follies recently put up signs prohibiting the recording of voice or video. I know better than to do that. I did ask a favorite to text me a photo and she said that she preferred that I take it with my phone in VIP which I did. Nice photo from the waist up including her face. It dawned on me later that she probably didn't want it on her phone in case her BF or husband might see it.

On the plus side, the eyepatch gives me a rather rakish flair...
The best recording is my memory.

Yes, it was very creepy.
