I'm in Seattle, and I can attest to the impression that an "over-population" of a particular chain of strip clubs, diminishes the enjoyment. There are only 13 strip clubs in the entire Puget Sound Region. Eight are Deja Vu-owned clubs. Four of the eight are in Seattle, the other four in the surrounding cities. This has lead to the observation that the Vu clubs are very similar in operation and attention to enforcement. Therefore, the choices of clubs are less than the numbers appear to offer. With eight of the 13 local clubs are owned by the same company. A small selection is the result.
Note that the article cited as the basis for this thread is almost three years old. Furthermore, my observation of that article is that BSC Management may only be a hiring agency for San Francisco strip clubs. It says it "manages" a long list of clubs. I question how much "management," outside of hiring employees, that actually involves. I really can't see a nationwide chain, like the Vu, contracting out for management services.
Things may have changed in San Francisco since the article was written. Attempting to update my knowledge of San Francisco clubs, I looked at Deja Vu's own website. It lists Centerfolds as it's only current club in S.F. (I'm aware that the Vu's own website is out-of-date in some areas. So, it could be in the area of club listings, as well.) It's my recollection that there were several more Deja Vu-owned clubs in San Francisco, particularly on Market Street. TUSCL's listing of S.F. clubs shows other Deja Vu-owned clubs, than just Centerfolds (Little Darlings, Garden of Eden, and Hustler), but it too may be out of date.
To those of you familiar with San Francisco strip clubs (I'm not), is there still a lingering affect of too many Deja Vu clubs? Or, are the changes in the S.F. club scene really a function of who owns or manages a large number of the clubs? Or perhaps it's just been changes in "market forces?" As I've mentioned in the past, I feel that in the past three years, and longer, the availability of internet-based adult entertainment has cut into the strip club industry, almost anywhere.

Glad to see that another TUSCLer uses Boobpedia for "research" purposes, only (of course). Too bad she doesn't do porn. She's only a glamor model, according to Boobpedia. For other links to her work, see:

Shadow, The concept of "off-shore vice" isn't new. You're from Southern California. I've seen documentaries about gambling boats, with booze, that were anchored in Santa Monica Bay during the prohibition era. Same idea.

Jerikson, Your comments about Seattle are spot on. The clubs that closed in 2010 were indeed high mileage clubs. Their closing really put a damper on the strip club scene for several years. Just in the past couple of years has the mileage began to return in several clubs, even the notoriously lame Deja Vu clubs, which comprise half of the 13 clubs in the Puget Sound Region
However, it's different now. As someone pointed out above, many of the clubs have installed private rooms where dances are sold by time, not by the song. What used to be high mileage dances in individual lap dance booths in a VIP room, are now steered to the private rooms, at high prices--making the other forms of internet adult entertainment all the more affordable and attractive.

There's a common theme to all of the responses to this question. Those posted here, and those posted on SW: Girls that need money fast, go into stripping.
Also, I love the term SW posters use for non-stripping work: "Vanilla jobs." Hilarious !!!

Ladybug Bikini Espresso and Beankini Espresso are two of several chains of drive-up bikini coffee/espresso stands here in the Puget Sound Region. In the links that Papi posted, those are most likely the actual baristas at those coffee stands. I've seen enough of them to know how the baristas are attired (or lack thereof). I don't think they have to go to the trouble to have outside girls come in just to pose for hot pics, when they can do it themselves, with their own baristas.
For one example, see:

I'm hoping Founder will restore the "Comments" button that used to enable anyone to look up anyone's comments. That was a valuable feature. I spend far less time on TUSCL now, without it.

There are lots of drive-up coffee/espresso stands here in the Puget Sound Region and throughout Washington state.. Maybe more than half are have bikini baristas. The rest are "family friendly."This website shows a map of their locations and photos of 700 bikini baristas:
http://www.bikini-baristas.com/bikini-baristas-by-location.html
Also, there are lots of strippers here that have second jobs as bikini baristas. Some even become owners of these coffee stands. I've known several strippers that also work as bikini baristas, and offer extras, for tips. Some have gotten into trouble, just like strip clubs do. This was probably the most famous example:

You can unfriend me, unfollow me, and unlike me; but you cannot unlick my butthole
When I see a dancer usually with absolutely gorgeous legs, I'm reminded of one of my favorite strip club stories. Being a boob man, myself, I was sitting with a small-breasted dancer at my local club one night. Since I couldn't honestly talk to her about her boobs, I chose to compliment her on how lovely I thought her legs were. Her response was, "Yeah, I know. I got more leg than a bucket o' chicken."

Best nearby example:
Seattle: 600,000 pop. 10 strip clubs (listed on TUSCL), though two are now closed.
Suburb where I live:
100,000 pop. Presently no clubs, but may have had as many as three in the past, with two of them open at the same time. Maybe all three. (Four other suburbs only have 1 each.)
Portland may be the national winner: 583,776 pop. 50 clubs (per TUSCL)

Bb,
You won't get an honest answer to that question here. You'll likely just attract trolls pretending to be managers so they can give you a difficult time. I suggest that you go to some local clubs where you live and talk to club managers there. Whatever questions you have of club managers will vary from club to club and city to city. Best to go where you're familiar with clubs already. If you don't get answers you like there, ask other dancers about managers to talk to in other clubs nearby.

1. I concur with two of Lopaw's choices: Fritz and Hawaii. Even though I left L.A. before they closed, they were great clubs.
2. Now that I've been in the Puget Sound Region long enough to have seen some clubs close, I really miss Rick's in Seattle, and Honey's in Everett. Both closed in 2010, along with two others owned by the same company. (Major legal problems caused the simultaneous closure of all four.)

I'm with Papi. He and I have similar preferences in our dancers. I'd become a regular of hers if she danced at a club near me. (I may have to MapQuest the distance between Denver and Seattle, and possibly loosen my current driving distance limit for club-going.)

As a skilled and seasoned boobologist, I feel compelled to comment:
Here in Seattle there are only 15 clubs in the metropolitan area, and only one more in the entire state, so there are not a lot of clubs to make a comparison with. And more than half of those have only been around since 2008.
I do like large natural boobs and dancers of that type get my business. I've been clubbing here for 11 years now, and perhaps I'd agree that not as many big-boobied dancers are working here as when I moved here. But, I still look for those that are at least a D-cup. However I don't find as many as I used to. And as others have stated, I really don't care for enhanced boobs. I'd rather have a dancer small and natural than big and enhanced.
The term "titty bar" is likely a colloquial term for "topless bar" which was the common term used before "strip club" become standard. That was in the days before lap dances, when all there was to do was to watch dancers on stage dance go topless. So, as someone else mentioned, the emphasis was on viewing tits. Hence the names topless bar and titty bar.

ABC's "Nightline" aired an updated episode Friday morning, (12:35 a.m.) that it showed about six months ago on Backpage. The emphasis was on the human trafficking element. In the updated version, it specifically mentioned that Backpage VOLUNTEERED to remove its adult entertainment ads. It wasn't forced to by federal authorities. But BP put up a banner explaning it was being censored by the federal government.
Then I checked the dating section of Backpage, as was mentioned above, and VOILA! Lots of what appear to be the usual "sex-for-sale ads" are present. I sense that Backpage MOVED them there, not that all those providers were smart enough to think of that themselves. And there are lots of those "dating" ads that go much further back than January 10th, when the Backpage adult section was "shut down."

There are other bikini barista websites as well.
There are tons of drive-up coffee stands here in the Puget Sound Region. Maybe half are bikini stands. The rest are "family friendly." Many strippers also work as bikini baristas. I know of several. Some even own the stand where they work. One owner/barista really made the news a few years ago. She was a former UHM dancer at a well-known UHM strip club in Seattle--since closed.
