The Mariners swept their opening series vs. the Anaheim Angels of Disneyland (or whatever their full name is)! They scored eight runs in two of the games and ten in the other. A pretty good start I'd say. Let's see . . . the Seahawks won the Super Bowl. Maybe the M's are on their way to a World Championship.
I need help on this one: I can't recall which city/cities did this. Wasn't there a city or two within the past five years where two of its teams (in different sports) won consecutive championships? Maybe Seattle will be next!

I have never paid attention to any of the rankings or top ten lists on TUSCL. After reading these comments, I'm glad I haven't. I don't like to numerically rate clubs or individual dancers. I prefer qualitative, written, descriptions of clubs and dancers. In the strip club industry, there are so many variables and they change so frequently, that it seems fruitless to attempt to rate and rank clubs.

You'll make the most money by developing regulars. To accomplish that, set a schedule that you know you can stick to.

Dude, you've now asked this same question three times in two months. Maybe after your first experience you would have concluded that this isn't a good website to pose that question. TUSCL is internationally read. Our members in Florida, New Zealand, and Timbuktu won't care about one particular dancer in Canada. You need a website where you can ask your question by posting it on the club's portion of that site. One such website is: www.stripclublist.com There may be others.

As for my preference, you can stop at the "DD's busting out of (anything) . . ."

Some dancers are convinced that they don't need to go on stage to sell dances. Others know that they can market themselves by going on stage. The above comments are the usual reasons for dancers not going on stage. I'm asking are there any unusual reasons.

I've run into just a few, by coincidence, outside of their work. If they're alone, it's cool to talk to them, but if they're with anyone else I don't recognize, then it can be awkward, unless they approach me first and start a conversation. I've had one who was alone, and a couple of the latter.

Slick, I well remember Sharon Tay from my L.A. days on KTLA. I see she's on KCBS/KCAL, now. I wonder how recent those pics are of her. The one showing KCBS/KCAL would have to be after 2007, when she started there. She would have been age 41 that year. She's still hot !!!

Massage parlors aren't my thing, but I do know of this website, which may help. I don't know if it distinguishes Asian massage parlors from others. But, take a look:

I had the exact same experience as Motor. And, I like thick and BBW types as well. A local club had a "BBW Night" last August. There were eight contestants. They seemed to go up on stage in order of weight--"slimmest" to the heaviest. I sat right at the stage at first. But by contestant no. 7, I had to get up and move to the back of the club. As soon as this one girl approached the stage, I knew I wouldn't be able to withstand seeing her undress. Apparently the contest was successful because the same club held it again recently; but this time, I didn't go.

I concur with Dallas. The police Lt., Kevin Mayer, when interviewed did not explain the need for SWAT tactics. It another useless attempt to legislate and enforce morality. I've heard of tactful "license raids" conducted so that it was barely noticeable to those inside the club.

The element of urban geography affects the dancers hired at strip clubs. In the larger cities, there is more likely a greater number of dancers applying for jobs at the local strip clubs. These clubs can afford to be selective in their hiring practices. Hence, perhaps a better quality of dancers results. In smaller areas, fewer dancers are likely to apply. Subsequently, a lesser choice for the clubs.
And, there are some clubs that are so poorly operated that they will hire any dancer that asks for a job. There's minimal risk to the club to do that. Each time a dancer comes to work, the club collects a house fee. Even if that dancer doesn't get many customers, as long as she's reliable, and doesn't cause problems, her club still makes money from her.

@ lopaw: Curiositycat appears to be from San Diego. Maybe you two could get together in L.A. She's reviewed one San Fernando Valley club.

All the encouragement for you to go is because if we all said don't go, that wouldn't make for interesting reading. It's like the theory bad news sells newspapers. Good news doesn't.

DG, Rather than calling several clubs, it might be better to go in person. I've heard from many dancers over the years that the first thing a club wants is to SEE a prospective dancer. Then they'll entertain questions. I suggest you choose one or more areas where there are several clubs close by, and plan an afternoon of going around to them. Be dressed for an interview in tasteful clothes that show your figure, as well as a costume for your audition.
