During my college days (mid-2000's) I played my fair share of video games. It would be common for me to invest 30-40 hours into playing a game from start to finish. Eventually I grew out of it because with each passing generation of new consoles, it seems that games are becoming more and more of a time waster where you literally spend hundreds (maybe thousands) of hours on just one game.
I don't have the time or the attention span to devote that much time into gaming. There are more productive things a person can do with their time than just sit on their ass playing video games while their health deteriorates from a lack of exercise and eating junk food.
Video games can be fun if enjoyed in moderation. I kind of miss the way the video game industry was when I was a child. Back then, you could just set aside an hour or two and actually play a game from start to finish, but also still find time to be active and play outside with friends.

I have never had any favorites that were the result of me lowering my standards. If I don't find a dancer to be attractive, I don't buy dances from her. It's that simple. However, I do know for a fact that sometimes a club's most popular dancer is not the prettiest one there. I have read reviews on one of my favorite club's Facebook pages and there is one particular dancer that gets a ton of positive reviews. She is not my type and I think she is average looking at best, but for some reason she is the most popular girl at this club. There has to be a reason why she is getting all these rave reviews, but I have no intent on finding out what all the hype is about.

It all depends on what one would consider to be upscale. I have been to many clubs that have the words "Gentlemen's Club" in the title, and yes they often are 7-up clubs, and have pricy drinks, but I have had no issue with dance prices, strippers that had a bad case of GPS, or whales keeping the most desirable dancers on lockdown.
My preference is mid-tier clubs that lean more towards the upscale end of the spectrum. I find these clubs often have the best features of both upscale gentlemen's clubs and low-end dives.

In my experiences, a dancer does not sit and chat with me for more than a couple of minutes when I am at a non-extras club. Most will approach and ask for a dance right away. A few may chat for 2 minutes, but if you don't want to buy a dance they will quickly move on.
At an extras club, it is more common for a dancer to sit and chat with me anywhere from 15-30 minutes, and I will usually buy her a drink to buy as much time as possible for conversation. I think this is more common in extras clubs because the girls bank a ton of money on doing extras, and therefore can afford to spend more time engaging in conversation.
I recall two visits to a non-extras club, about a month apart. During both visits, there was this one dancer that spent 2+ hours just sitting and chatting with a dude, and both times it was the same dude. The dude was dressed like a bum, had greasy hair and his arms were covered in tattoos. The dancer had a ton of body ink herself. I highly doubt this guy actually paid her for the time she spent just hanging out with him at a table. But, because both of them had a ton of tattoos, I made the assumption this guy was actually her boyfriend. If so, I just don't think boyfriends should be allowed in the club, if anything for the fact they would be a distraction keeping the dancer from actually making any money.

I am OK with paying $20-$25 per dance. If the dance costs $30+ I am going to be very selective with who I choose to get dances from. At that price, I am going to expect the dance to be outstanding or else it will be a one-and-done.
Here in Detroit, the upscale clubs charge $25/song and all the mid-tiers and dives charge $20/song. I think there is at least one club that charges $15/song.
I've been to one club a few too many times where dances are $20/song, but a lot of the girls offer dances with two-way contact for $40/song. There is no way I am paying $40/song just so I can touch some tits and ass.
When I lived in Wisconsin, one of my local clubs would charge $20/song topless and $40/song nude. Since I was a newbie, I did pay $40 for nude lap dances a few times. Then, once I learned the club offered 3-for-$80 nude dances, I would go with that option instead. But still, even with that volume discount, I would only get dances with one dancer and the rest of my money would be spent on the cover charge, drinks and stage tips.

My favorite restaurant is a place I call My Apartment. On average, I eat there maybe 20 times per week. The average cost per meal is about $5. All ingredients used are store bought, and they are all organic and/or non-GMO. George Foreman does a lot of my cooking, and they make very good steaks, chicken and salmon.

With one club I visited over the summer, I know a return visit will not be as good as the first time. That would be simply because the curtains were removed from the VIP.
It was my first experience getting extras in a strip club and the whole process went better than expected. I found a girl that was willing, but she did not have a price in our initial discussion. Even though going to VIP without settling on a price for services should be a red flag, I knew I had enough to pay whatever price she had. So we went to the VIP and I got BBBJ and CFS. After we left the VIP, she did not ask for any money. Basically what she did was she gave me a freebie. Still, it didn't seem right to walk away without paying, so I asked her how much I owed her. Her exact words were, "I don't know. I don't do this very often. What do you think is fair?" So I gave her enough to cover how many "dances" we were back there for plus a tip. I may have shortchanged her a little bit, but I don't feel as bad knowing there will be times I might overpay.

For me it isn't so much what they do wear, but more so what they don't wear. I very much prefer to see them in their birthday suit (if it is a nude club) or otherwise topless (due to state laws on alcohol sales) and then decide if I want to get dances from them. What they are wearing when they get on stage usually has no influence on me since they are going to take it off anyway.
Then again, there is the rare occasion where I get hard just looking at a girl's face and she has not removed any article of clothing. That is exactly what happened the night I met my CF.
