Just a fat, creepy old pervert.
Now I'm really going to hell
Been there. My ATF and I were in a similar situation (at least based on what I know from what you post about your girl). We did BBFS for about a month before, to her credit, she told me we needed to start using protection again. Looking back, it was incredibly risky, but to be perfectly honest, I don't know if I would or would not do it again. Stay as safe as you can, get tested, and keep an eye on her. If you start to believe she's not playing by the same rules, then it's time to put the raincoat back on.

No, it's not just you. I'm mid-30s and have only been in the game for a couple years, and I don't care anymore either. As you say, same old lines all the time.

What does your regular say behind your back?
I hear this BS all the time and take it for what it's worth . . . just BS. It could be that she really does think those things. Or, maybe she just says them to inflate your ego a little bit, as in, "You're so awesome, I'd rather sit with you, but stinky balls over there has promised me $200 to sit with him."

OMG, pink side provides even more entertainment
This is why, despite their best intentions, very few dancers actually "retire" on their own terms.

Stripper Rage
Oh, yes. I started a recent discussion about the time a month or so ago when she "dumped" me at the club. She was incredibly pissed. We've since made up, but it'll never be the same, as I find myself being much more guarded around her. I've seen other glimpses of anger from her more recently. I'm hoping that she'll make changes in her life to avoid these stressful situations and people, but there's not much I can do about that.

Georgmicrodong, HAIR! HAIR! There's Hair Down There!
No offense, Pablo, but you're doing something wrong if your first thought was about another dude. Just giving you a hard time, though. Great post. I, too, like to vary things once in a while when I get the chance.

Red flags on bank accounts
Oops, accidental post. Anyway, no actual tax is due until the 5 million (not 1 mil) lifetime exclusion is met. This all illustrates how complicated the matter is.

Red flags on bank accounts
Canny: a gift is not taxable to the recipient. If it is over $13k, the transferor pays a gift tax, not income tax. So, in your example of allowing a relative to live rent free, it would be you, not the relative, who would pay gift tax. And, even though a gift tax return is due in each year in which gifts exceed 13k, actual tax isn't during until the lifetime exclusion of $1 million

Red flags on bank accounts
I assume the university is requiring proof of funds because she is a foreign student. That odd fact aside, there are a number of potential problems. First, taxes. Outright gifts are not taxable income, and neither is a loan. But the burden would be on her to prove that the money was indeed a gift or loan. Not too terribly difficult, but if caught up in an audit, it would be a headache. In the end, though, the IRS doesn't really care about the source as long as it is properly reported. The bigger problem is something called "structuring." There are various currency transaction reporting rules that all financial institutions must follow. You ask if there is a threshold amount above which suspicions would be aroused. The short answer is no. While any deposit 10k and above is subject to reporting, the bank may nonetheless report any suspicious activity. I do now know what standards they might use; the standards might vary bank by bank. I don't think you're suggesting your friend is doing anything illegal, but there has to be an easier way to do this. And yes, she is jeopardizing her student visa status by working, even if only occasionally.

She's Gone . . .
Sorry to hear about it, but nothing went wrong. She's moved on; the sooner you do, the better off you'll be. Find another favorite (or two or ten) and put her away with your other pleasant memories.

Striper confusion ....
Pablo, you and I think alike. Maybe we should start a support group. Or does TUSCL already count as a support group? As for the OP: knock it off. If she won't dance for you, won't fool around with you, and won't give you her phone number, she's really confused and conflicted or is just toying with you. Either way, I suggest you escape now while you retain some dignity and the cash in your savings account. Don't go back to that club for a while.

Inquiring minds want to know: did you pay the $250 or not? Otherwise, another great report. I look forward to the individual club reviews. Just curious: what club is your favorite's home club?

Got a drug dropped on me in a club
I haven't heard of this happening in a club, but I don't doubt that it happened to you. I've also seen the symptoms first hand and have heard the stories that this sometimes happens at bars/resorts in the Caribbean. I really do believe that they hope they will have the opportunity rob you while you're passed out. It was wise of you to get out of there, even if it meant passing out in your car. I've recently started taking my drink with me everywhere I go in the club, restroom excluded. Even then, I try not to be gone long, or I wait until I need a new drink anyway.

Adult entertainment value
One-and-done p4p works best in a strip club, and, depending on location, can be cheaper than an escort. If you want to take it slow and get the illusion of romance, an escort is probably a better value. The benefit of a brothel is that everyone knows why the girls are there, and you get to choose from a wide selection (sort of like a strip club too). Each has its benefits. It's hard to say one or the other is a better economic choice. And don't forget about rub-and-tug massage parlors, too.

Anyone been to Fantasy Shots in San Diego?
I should add that I've also been to Tijuana. Not even close to SD clubs. If I lived near San Diego, I'd be there a lot. As for safety, I was pretty worried. But if you play safe and trust your gut, you'll probably be ok. The girls are supposedly regulated and receive regular checks. I trusted the club/brothel girls more than the SWs, though I admit it was only intuition.

Been there. My experience is exactly as you describe it: absolutely NO touching. Well, one girl lightly touched my leg, but nothing more. I also had the suspicion we were being watched.
