Ever visit one of the free internet cam sites online?
shark, most of them, IMHO, are just come-ons. the women never do much more than set around in front of the cam in, maybe, a semi-skimpy bikini. all they do is type away to all the guys, trying to get them to go "private" so they can get "naughty" with you. total rip-offs, if you ask me.

    Porn vs. Prostitution?
the sad truth of prostitution is that making it illegal doesn't stop it from happening, it just makes the women who engage in it more likely to become victims of many different crimes. I read somewhere once that a prostitute is far more likely to be killed or severely beaten by a dissatisfied john than the average woman is to suffer a similar attack from a boyfriend/husband. that doesn't count the number of prostitutes who are robbed and/or raped by customers. all of them face the prospect of jail for their "illegal" activities if they report what happened to them, making it less likely they will seek legal help. all because some "blue-nosed" idiots know what's best for the rest of us. hooray for America! [yes, that was an ironic comment]

    Stripper Next Door: Final Update
I have to agree with others here: move, and soon! roaches get into everything, even if you're not the source. had a relative who lived in a housing development made up of townhouses: two separate place sharing a single wall. their neighbor wasn't too strong on cleaning their place up, and within a month, they had roaches in their stuff. nasty bastards, roaches!

Strippers get paid for stripping and then get fucked by their attorney.
"The dancers, who performed in bikinis, and the bartenders, who work fully clothed, were taken into a room in the club and strip-searched in front of 20 male officers, Hartley said." WTF? it doesn't take a law degree to know these searches were improperly conducted, most likely to humiliate the women in question. ever one of the officers who sat there, enjoyed the "show" and said nothing should have been named as parties in the lawsuit. they had to have known this was wrong and chose to do nothing to stop it.

    New Porn Star ???
I'm not amazed they withdrew the offer. even porn producers have to pay attention to the market, and she's no where near hot enough to make people overlook all the shit surrounding this case.

    A Job.
go apply. most clubs are happy to see new talent come in the door because it makes the dancers who are there pay attention to business and also gives the customers another reason to come in.

OT: Senators Target Internet Narcotics Trafficking Website Silk Road
well, it makes nice headlines, but I don't see the Senators or any other US agency making any progress on shutting this site down. problem #1: odds are, it's hosted on a web server in some other country. WTF do they think we're going to do, send a Ranger detachment in to 'take out' the server? not a whole lot else would work, because even if we manage to pressure the government of the country the server's in into shutting it down, they'll just set up shop someplace else. one of the great (and dubious) glories of the Internet: you can have any crap available, no matter how nasty, because there's always some place that will let it 'hang it's hat' from a local ISP for the right price.

    Escorts vs. Strippers OTC
snake, LMAO, thanks! finding a stripper who will do OTC is a crap shoot. some clubs have very strict rules about asking for it, or dancers offering it. the result is usually either the stripper getting kicked out of the club, or the customer getting banned, so be sure before you ask. if it was a case of just wanting a fast fuck for money, I'd go with an escort. if you're visiting her ("incall"), and don't like what you see once the door opens, you can always say 'Thanks, but no thanks!' and book. you can see the stripper, sure enough, but you don't know if she's any good in bed, whether she'll even *try* to be good in bed, or (worst of all) how she'll react afterwords. I mean, is it worth getting laid by a good-looking stripper if she starts getting as the OP's dancer did? escorts, it's "find them, fuck them, forget them", end of story.

troop, I hadn't seen that pic of her before. looks like she (or some "friend") sprang for a set of bolt-ons, because that pair looks waaaay too large for her! wonder if she can dance? might be able to make a living working in a SC if she can with that pair.

dudester, yeah, it kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it, how she could have gotten through law school and think she could get away with something like this. double dumb: sending the guy incriminating pictures *and* mentioning what they'd do in emails! I don't know if she'll lose her license, but I can't see any way the state lets her keep it if she's found guilty. I guess if that happens, she gets to take an ad out somewhere and work her 'oldest profession' job full time. kinda sad.

Strip Club Manager Charged with Sex Abuse
interesting, isn't it, that an innocent victim comes forward, claiming to be sexually assaulted after being given alcohol as a minor at an 'adult' enterprise that's in the process of suing the city? he may be guilty, but you have to admit, it's one neat little coincidence playing out in favour of the "upstanding" city government of Davenport, isn't it?

    Facebook
good to hear you decided not to go the Facebook route. had a dancer give me her account info and ask me to friend her as well as exchange emails. went bad reeeeeal fast! within a few weeks, she was sending me emails asking when I was going to be back, why was I talking to some other dancer the last time I was in the club, why wouldn't I do this/that/the-other-thing...bad news all around. keep the club stuff in the club, never bring it anywhere near your 'real' world (even online)!

well, I guess it's another nice way to waste the taxpayer's money (what, you think he's not paying someone to set up the site, and post the mugshots?), but what other good it does is beyond me.

    No Contract Cell Phones
I've had a Tracfone for years. places like Wal-Marts sell models for around $10, you can buy cards to recharge the minutes on them, and the minutes last around six months. you can do all of this for cash, and minute cards can be purchased in most convenience stores (for that matter, you can often find them selling phones too). minutes are moderately cheap (60 can usually be had for around $20) and coverage is pretty good. major downside: you burn more minutes making calls outside of your area code, and that's pretty much any other phone you might contact. still, it's a decent option if you want an untraceable phone you can get for cash.

"He's Old Enough to be my Grandpa"
But I agree with inno; next time smile and say "But I got her, and you didn't." yes, not being a 'spring chicken' myself, I sometimes wonder why I'm setting there with a woman who could (almost) be my grand daughter. then I'll go in the back and get a private dance off of her, and be glad I did.

    Average strip club profits
as with any other business, much of the success of a club boils down to three things: location, location, location. a club has to have a good customer 'catchment', a population base it can draw customers off of, or it needs to be in a high-traffic area (along a major interstate or near an airport are good examples) that can provide a steady flow of people who might wish to 'partake of their wares'. lacking either of these, a club is just going to be a money pit.

Judge Rules Strip Club Must Go To Make Way For Expanded Road
"Related to condemnation, if the club was in a zoning district that allows adult entertainment, and if the club were to find a suitable piece of property nearby in the same jurisdiction that was not zoned for AE, would the jurisdiction be required to rezone the new site to allow for adult entertainment?" in DuPage County? not likely! the place is hard-core neo-conservative land. the owner would have a better chance of getting a license to open a rifle range in downtown Chicago than they would getting a new permit for a club.
