  Do you mean a site where everything is free, or one of those sites where they charge you $3-$4 per minute for "private" shows but it's free to chat with the girls when they're not in private?

  I was talking about those sites where it is free to chat when they aren't in private mode or sites where you can watch without even joining a site. Every site I've seen always has some option to sign up and pay for private things.

  shark, most of them, IMHO, are just come-ons. the women never do much more than set around in front of the cam in, maybe, a semi-skimpy bikini. all they do is type away to all the guys, trying to get them to go "private" so they can get "naughty" with you. total rip-offs, if you ask me.

  I've had some of these sites pop up while I'm on the internet doing, er, research, and I don't see the attraction. The girls didn't seem particularly attractive and as sanitago notes the "action' is pretty boring.

  I will confess that I have spent some time as a registered member on Streammate's webcam site and found it to be more like strippers than you might think. Like dancers, the free chat is the tease, very much like the time spent sitting at the table. Some of the Russian and Latino girls who don't speak much English show a lot more in free chat than the American or Canadian girls, but they will also badger you endlessly to "go pvt." There are some performers who are really cool in the free chat; a few have games for "gold" (tips from $1 on up) that allow them to show a bunch more skin in the free area than most. Lurkers in those rooms can get quite a show for nothing at the expense of the tippers (much like the gawkers in clubs that offer table dances out on the floor). Among the hundreds of performers on the site, there are some real charmers who, like our ATFs, draw a bunch of devoted regulars who gather in their "rooms" and spend time and money. It is as addicting as porn and can really cut into the funds if one is not careful. The private and exclusive shows are pretty expensive (from as low as 1.49 to as high as 7.99 per minute)and will drain both your wallet and your balls, since some of the shows are very explicit and pretty hot. The site just introduced "party chats", which allow a bunch of viewers to put in gold (sometimes as cheap as $1 each) for a short show (5 to 10 min) available only to those who paid. This is a real bargain and allows you to sample a girl's hardcore show without breaking the bank (like a 2 for 1 dance). All in all, there are some fascinating parallels with our strip club world, with the main difference being the lack of physical contact between customer and performer. In return, you get a chance to see women of all sizes, ages (literally 18 to mid 50s), shapes, and nationalities doing everything from stripping to screwing furniture (really--there's a porn star who humps her bedpost) for fees comparable to an upscale VIP experience.

  I agree that if you surf around enough, you can often find a naked or topless girl, much less often will you find her all nude in the free sections. It does seem similar to a strip club except you can click over to different girls much faster than you can in a strip club where you're stuck with the girl or girls on stage. Now if they had large screen high def format for free, they could really hurt strip club business out west. That would probably be the day that strip clubs and religious groups combine against online free porn. Maybe not, strippers could just compete online instead of in strip clubs. That is if they work in clubs where no one can touch anyone.

  I knew about streammate. I did not know about myfreecams. Thanks for letting me know. You have to figure out how to change the screen size to fill up more of the screen. I did not find an option to have it fill the whole screen on myfreecam. I believe on livejasmin you can let your mouse cursor stay over the thumbnail and click on the small pop up icon in the bottom right to have the image fill the whole screen. My browser has been redirected to a few different free cam sites. I believe that one times out after a minute or two unlike the other sites but the overall quality seems to be higher than streammate. Of course these sites try to encourage you to sign up and pay but I'm used to not paying for anything online. I guess it can be like getting free admission to a strip club and just watching.
