OT: In Seinfeld Nation, Millennials Delay Marriage for Selfie"And who the fuck keeps mentioning this economic boom bullshit? Does anyone have any rational argument for a boom, or is it just the standard TUSCL "I said it therefore it's true" nonsense?"
Okay, it's pretty technical, and I don't fully understand it myself (I'm not "in finance" after all), but it has to do with the entrepreneurial genius of Millennials (cf. massive economic impact of Facebook and Snapchat) and the supply and demand curves moving in unexpected, non-obvious directions -- or something like that.
Anyway, it's going to be awesome! Well, awesome except that it will kill extras in strip clubs.

OT: Ebola "so we're talking 48,000 deaths'
You seem curiously blasé about that. I'm not going to dispute your math (after all, I'm not "in finance"), but I think you grossly underestimating the social impact. The first time an American contracts Ebola on U.S. soil, Fox News, CNN, etc will be all-Ebola all-the-time. A national ticker will go up tracking Ebola cases/deaths. Parents will pull their kids out of school. Malls will be deserted. All international flights will be grounded.
48,000 Ebola deaths in a year? The country will be under martial law way before that.
Not to mention the hell it will play with the stripper extras supply curve.

Dancer's annual income"If your fave makes *consistently* $1500 on a weekend night w/o extras – that means she needs to sell at least 60 $25 lap-dances every weekend night, or more considering the club’s take"
Good point about the club's take, Papi. The local clubs take a 50% cut of every dance. My limited math skills suggest she would need to perform roughly double the number of dances in that case. Plus there could be house fees, tip outs, etc.
The other key term was "consistently". Maybe some clubs are consistently busy, but ebb & flow seems to be more the prevailing pattern.

Dancer Named Felony" Would you fellas and fellettes get a dance(or more) from felony"
Yes, if she was single and had a nice demeanor.
Oops, I guess that would make her a Miss Demeanor.
(Get it, misdemeanor?)

Ever have a dancer forget about this? You have an ATF after only 3 visits? You are on track to be the rookie of the year, footballguy, lol.
But back to your question...If the bouncer is there to keep track of the dances and collect the club's cut, then there's no way you or her are getting out of there without paying, so yeah, it may be part of her sales pitch.
I can remember one time I forget to pay a fav for some "warm-up" laps we got before going to the VIP (I realized later when I checked my wallet and saw the cash still there). Like the rest of the honest softies on here I paid her on my next visit.

Dancer's annual income Thank you, John Smith, your dancer gives a glimpse of the near future once the Greatest Economic Boom in the History of the World really starts to kick in over the next few months. By the time the roaring economy lifts President-elect Hilary Clinton and her VP running mate, Beyonce, to a sweeping 50-state electorcal landside in 2016, clubs like Follies and those black dives Papi_Chulo loves so much will be extinct, mere memories replaced by upscale, non-extras gentlemen clubs where $124K will represent the lower bound of stripper earnings.

SJG: And so we read of the place called "The Golden Gate Bridge"
Tourist 1 (muttering to wife): Why are we still in the parking lot?
Tourist 2: Excuse me, sir, but have you actually been to any of the places you're talking about
SJG: No, but that is going to change. I hope to visit all the places of which we have spoken today. My wife took me on a journey to hell, but that was before, and now I hope to take an actual journey and visit...
Tourist 1: Come on, we're getting out of here...

OT: Doppelgänger@zipman68 - I was actually thinking more along the line of the Star Trek "Mirror Mirror" episode, you know the one where a transporter accident (dang those things were unreliable!) leaves Kirk & Bones in an alternate universe, where the Federation is a brutal empire and evil Spock has that cool goatee.
