Lots of interesting demographic and economic facts here with a pop culture reference to tie it all together.

Surprisingly, however, no mention of the coming economic boom...

Wow, interesting. And good news IMO. Although I think it's also a function of the total selfishness and money hungry attitudes of this present culture where people are more interested in careers (aka, income) than in being part of a couple.

But it seems like a huge enough trend that you'll start seeing a lot of singles-oriented stuff happening. Maybe more guys hitting the strip clubs?

But I've always felt that marrying young is often a recipe for disaster down the road, so this is somewhat good news. And to the extent it causes people to forego it altogether, IMO it's not a bad thing.

And who the fuck keeps mentioning this economic boom bullshit? Does anyone have any rational argument for a boom, or is it just the standard TUSCL "I said it therefore it's true" nonsense?

Okay, it's pretty technical, and I don't fully understand it myself (I'm not "in finance" after all), but it has to do with the entrepreneurial genius of Millennials (cf. massive economic impact of Facebook and Snapchat) and the supply and demand curves moving in unexpected, non-obvious directions -- or something like that.

Anyway, it's going to be awesome! Well, awesome except that it will kill extras in strip clubs.

@steve229 dude -- you're referring to that coming economic boom that will make all strippers leave the club to become nurses and real estate agents, right?

Alas, that boom seems inevitable. However, my hope is that culture becomes so pornified that many chicks just start stripping because they like it. Imagine if all the hotties were stripping for free. That would be totally coo-el, no?

Oh, my! The financial media is spreading doom and gloom! Looks like three of the three greatest minds (jerkoffson, steve229, and RickyBoy) on TUSCL were right after all and we are heading for economic collapse!

It's all over. It's all over.

Seriously though. Letting the financial media think for you? LOL!
