Definitely, the original Ricks. The building that once housed Ricks is now a black strip club. The interior and exterior is like an 80 year old alcoholic-she's seen better days, but now UGH !! It's new location is a rebuilt club that had been burned down, but they chose poorly for location in that they are in a strip mall with two massage parlors and a couple of restaurants (they should have a stand alone location, like St. James, Houston Dolls, et. al.) Also, twenty years ago, Ricks girls were strictly college girls who got classes in hostessing and hospitality. Today, strippers from Ricks are skanky ho's who rank somewhere between truck stop hooker and diner waitress (they would aspire to be the waitress). My last stop there was 2:30 on a Friday afternoon. I was the only customer and of the five strippers on duty, none were desireable. I don't know what went wrong, but the only lapdance area is VIP, where you'll pay for a bottle and more. There are table dances available as an appetizer to VIP, but you since you can go into private booths in other clubs, I don't see the point in the upsell.

Fetish, 1) I will pursue a younger dancer over an older one, but the lapdance is an "audition". It hasn't escaped my notice that 18-19 year olds are usually terrible at lappers (and usually terrible in bed). I do this audition because the occasional 18 year old is good at lappers. 2) The 24-30 year olds, as a group, are best at lappers. Their bodies still have the firmness of youth, but their experience provides the better (and for me-sensual) lapper. 3) My OTC criteria depends, first, on her lapper. Personality is the cincher. I go to clubs to get laid, one way or the other. An OTC experience will last (for me) at least two to three hours. On a quick (very quick) business trip to Europe, the nude beaches of the Riviera was mentioned as a possibility, but had to settle for a lingerie show in a Paris restaurant, and the biggest surprise of that was that an American TV actress made an appearance wearing very very little. 1) In Europe, the majority of beaches are either nude beches or clothing optional. In most euro countries, brothels are leagal and can be easily found. 2) In the US, nude or clothing optional beaches are quite rare. Even in liberal Austin Taxas, Hippie Hollow was closed to anyone under 21 (yes, 21, not 18). It seems that Hippie grandparents were horrified at the thought of their grandchildren letting it all hang out, even though they and their kids had let it all hang out there. 3) Canada fought about this and women are allowed in some places. Also, nudist resorts are more plentiful (per capita) than in the southern US. The irony is, is that people of the frozen tundra like to let it all hang out when they can, and in the land of Dixie, where it's hot, people don't.

I am told thatin the 1970's, there was an old strip joint called "The Crystal Palace" on the south side of Houston. It was actually a converted large wooden house with a large front porch.
