Days or Nights

Quick question for you guys........ I have never once danced during the day while the kids are at school and I have always traveled a fair distance from home in an effort not to be recognized by and friends or family. I was wondering what the crowds are like during the days and if the clubs are busy during the days or only in the evenings. This would be a huge step for me to go in the day as I have never been out without my hubby with me. To date, everytime i have danced he has been present...this does make me a bit nervous, concerns of being followed out and so forth.......This never bothered me when I walk out of the club with my hubby, but to do it alone and get into my mom vehicle by myself does scare me a bit. Seems like this amounts to a couple of different topics but was wondering what your thoughts are.

    1) Daytime dancers are usually single moms and are more likely to give extras (because they NEED the money), so the expectation is that if you work during the day, a customer will wonder if you're not offering a menu of items. 2) The lunch time crowd in Houston is the white collar crowd, expecting a mid day HJ. 3) I worked at a hotel across the street from a strip joint. I most often saw and ran off stalkers between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Days seem to be more middle aged regulars. As such, you need to be there regularly to develop that repeat customer base. I get the feeling that you don't strip on a regular schedule (maybe it's my mistaken impression) so you might not be able to pull that regular crowd. Texting might help.

Philip, You are correct that I only do this part time for the fun. So the day crowd is more relationship built as opposed to one off's at night?

I wouldn't say day shift is a regulars only club but it seems to be a more significant big part of it. I saying to use texting to advertise to your regulars. Since you're not there every Tues, Wed, and Fri, you can let your regs know when you will be there. I hate the text that comes at 4:30, "cum c me i miss you". I'm done clubbing at 5. A text the evening prior, "Hey Honey, I'll be at the Kitty Kat Klub tomorrow. Wanna play?!" would work better with me. It gives me plenty of time to plan a trip to see you. 8-6-7-5-3-0-9. JudyJudy, you're the girl for me. You don't know me but you make me so happy. (my apologizes to Tommy Tutone)

i find the dayshift empty most of the time at the clubs i go to.the girls do the quick extras to make there money.the girls are more posesive of there day time [view link] soon as night shift managers come in its harder to get away with extras.if your worried about stalkers ask a bouncer to escort you out.i see alot of girls leavong at the same time too this helps.

Day shift: fewer customers, more discretionary income, more solo customers, skews older, more purposeful customers, depending on location more white collars around lunchtime. Depending on location, more blue collars after 3 p.m. Always regulars. An occassional pervert, several PLs Night shift: more group outings, skews younger, partytime, more rookie customers ("hey look, naked women"). More curious than serious. Always regulars. An occassional pervert, lots of PLs.

"the text that comes at 4:30, "cum c me i miss you" aka Stripper Spam. I used to be excited to get these, until I figured out she was sending them out to all the fish in her contact list, to see who would bite.

From my experience, the day shift is usually full of older pervs like me. :) You'll get more respect from the crown and usually a very low quantity of drunks. All in all, I think it would be a good fit. However, as mentioned, extras are usually expected more during the day, but from what you've told us, that doesn't seem to be a deal killer. Good luck!

From what I've heard, day-shift strip club patrons are usually older men...sometimes middle-aged, sometimes elderly. You could always have a male club staff member escort you to your car judy...good luck...

If you can't, or won't, carry a gun, get some mace or something like that. One company makes one that is a gel or paste, and sticks to the bad guy. If you're doing this during the day, visibility should still be good when you leave, so don't be afraid to scout the area out before leaving the entrance, if that's feasible. Also, make sure you're working at a club that will let you leave if you have a kid emergency or something. Watched a club manager fire a girl one time because her two year old went to the hospital and she followed.

Looks like gk nailed it pretty accurately. The only thing I would add is that daygirls tend to be less attractive than nightshift (there are always exceptions, of course), and they tend to be much more likely to provide extras.

If the club serves a lunch buffet there will be lots of guys in there for lunch and to enjoy the company of a dancer. There are times I will go to lunch buffet at a club and spend some on dances.

JudyJudy--local stuff. Day shift is still heavy towards white collar professionals in Detroit for lunch, but down a lot because of the decline of the auto industry. If they make if for lunch, they can't hang for the afternoon like they used to. After the suitts leave, the club is dead until the early blue collar shifts end about 3:30-4pm. They will top in and nurse a beer or two and head for home around 5pm. Then it's dead during the dinner hour until the shift change at 7pm. With DST you have some protection in the parking lot. It will not be dark when you leave and a friendly valet, probably with tip, will see you to your car. April 9 is opening day for the Tigers. After the game the clubs will fill up. Get a day schedule for the Tigers and see if late afternoons, after the game, have guys coming in.

As for me deciding when to go dayshift or nightshift...it usually depends on the strip club. Also depends on what time of mood I am in. Night shift has better eye candy but day shift has higher mileage with dances.

I've noticed the reverse at a few clubs I go. Night at 2 clubs are more "hood" crowd, quite a few professional and older customers during day.

Clubs that have dropped a dress code suffer the hood element at night.

During the day it is a relationship business. plus very safe from noon to 7 at most places. Try industrial strip in Indiana if you want a good day place

You guys are so right about the difference between day and night dancers. At my favorite club the day dancers are mostly in the 4 to 7 range. I go an hour & half before shift change so I can spend time with my Fav who is the only 8 IMO on the day shift. Spend my last hour @ the club looking & tipping the eye Candy that is their on the night shift.

judyjudy, do what makes you safest. Daytime regulars as the other guys here are more relationship minded, tend to spend more with their discretionary income, (IMO).

You can succeed on any shift, judyjudy, but after reading your posts in this thread, I suggest you avoid the day shift. Why put yourself through feeling nervous or even scared when you're in this for fun?
