Dancers seem to prefer men from their own social class as boyfriends or husbands. They have less in common with the better educated and more successful. Sometimes a dancer will marry a customer but it usually does not turn out well for the customer.

Dancers, for the most part, are from poor backgrounds and poor neighborhoods. Their fathers, brothers and boyfriends have low-paying jobs and little education. To strippers, a poor boyfriend seems natural. When they're not at work, the kind of men they meet in their neighborhoods do not have a lot of prospects.

I have a stripper friend who is 1/3 my age. But I don't want to have a kid with her.
