My regular club in the Detroit area seems pretty safe. I also go during the afternoon, so never had any problems with parking. The valet guys have been there a long time which helps with the feeling of security.

I'm with you, gator. Blogs are like journals, sharing personal experiences and not really meant for continuing comment or discussion. They simply convey a person's thoughts that others may be interested in reading and, hopefully, learn from them. But since there is a place on TUSCL for submitting comments under the blog, it invites discussion. I'm planning to post a blog myself soon. Just my $.02 worth

I only get to SCs about once a month on business trips so I don't really get tired of them. Usually, after a month at home, I'm ready for some SC action. I agree with several of the earlier posts that I get tired of certain dancers--even when visiting just once a month.

I've never had a problem with valet in the Detroit area, but I usually visit suburban clubs and during the daylight hours. I just consider the valet fee + tip part of the cost of my SC visit.

gmd, I agree. I've had a range of experiences over the years where I felt I got excellent value and other times where I did not. I guess if you go to SCs long enough the value factor averages out.

Part of the SC experience for married men is the excitement "exploring" other women. The idea that the "grass is greener" has a certain thrill to it. There is also an element of the first-time experience with a women that is also exciting and available at the SC. And then, when the night is over and you are satisfied, you can leave and not take any emotional baggage with you. The SC experience is like having an on-going affair, but you do not have to put in the emotional energy to keep the relationship going. In the SC scene, all you need it $$$.

I agree with Vince. This does not have any remote connection to the LS, where I am a semi-regular customer. Vince, do stop in at the LS. I think you will find it very satisfying. IMHO.

I go once a month when I travel. I wish it could be more, but that all my budget will allow. My dry spell is usually the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday season.

Landing Strip in Romulus, MI (Detroit suburb). Re-opened last fall after being closed for a year or so. New owner and remodeled, it has everything going for it. Friendly management, staff, and girls. Great LDs and full range of extras offered. Typical pricing.

I had a similar experience. I had three $20 dances from a lovely stripper, but she was so delightful and satisfying I gave her an extra $20 as a tip. I didn't mention this and as she counted out the $$ I had given her, she noticed the extra and offered it back. I then told her it was for her because of the great time we had. I don't mind tipping for excellent service and I will be sure to get dances from her again.
