Heard a touching story from a father about an interaction between his young son and Fanco. He said he and his son were at a game and went early for autographs. He said the other players were nice and stopped briefly with the fans.
They saw Franco and the dad explained Franco to his son. As Franco was walking by his son said "We are....". Franco turned around and said "Penn State". He then turned around and had a long conversation with the kid. Made a fan for life.

I live in San Diego and don't like any of the clubs here. Not a fan of the LA area and had to deal with Federales in TJ for just walking down the street last time I was there. I'll drive to Phoenix every once in a while. Primarily for club variety but I also make a multiple day trip to partake in other things.

My favorite would be Zepplin, but I really like some less popular bands that were favorites at some point in my life. They were Montrose, UFO and Triumph. Some bands I saw in concert made me more of a fan than I was and those were Styx, Rush and even a pop guy like Huey Luis.
I had a chance to see BB King before he passed and he had one of the tightest bands I'd ever heard. The Eagles were also a great show before Glen Frey passed.
Some of the worst bands I saw were Molley Hatchet and George Thoroughgood. That might have been because of how intoxicated they were though.

I don't know that I really have a favorite all time. I have Uverse cable and they have a group of channels that show series like the Three Stooges, Green Acres, Star Trek with 5 series on 6 nights a week shown in series chronological order for that 5 hours.
I don't watch during the day but Batman, Perry Mason and Andy Griffith are on too.
Tonight, I watched a few episodes of Sanford and Son and really enjoyed them. Fred and Aunt Esther had some great battles. Aunt Esther even called someone the big "N" word and it was funny.
I travel so much that I don't watch new TV series because I know I will never be home. I did enjoy some cable TV series over the years like Game of Throwns, Boardwalk Empire, Trueblood, and Spartacus. I was able to watch these because they were on Sunday nights when I am usually at home.
Been too many that series that I like over the years to have an alltime favorite. I enjoyed them all at the time.

I found it somehow when I made my first trip to Tampa 20 years ago and I was looking for strip clubs in the area. I imagine I was doing some kind of web search but don't remember which search engine I used. Google wasn't a verb back then.

I'm pretty sure that Pure Platinum in San Diego is either gone or on a very extended remodel. It had a new owner just before Covid hit and the couple of times I went in the last couple of years were pretty sad as far as the number of dancers and patrons. I'm sure the San Diego license rules and other regulations didn't help.
I last tried to go a couple of times in September but saw that it was under construction but the sign visible from the freeway still made it appear open. Now the sign is blank. I'll have to do a drive-by again to confirm that it is gone for now. It is kind of in my neighborhood, but I don't drive by close enough to see the parking lot and building, typically. Not that it's a big loss but it was convenient to me.

One option would be to park somewhere near a trolley station that has ample free parking and take the trolley to the border. It does stop right at the border. May be a bit of a pain in the ass, especially if you stay longer than the trolley runs, but it is a cheap option.

I would say the falling of the Berlin Wall was an even that signified a series of events that happened that changed the lives of millions of people in Europe. It led to freedoms that were never known for many and signified the end of the "Cold War."
It didn't affect me much personally, but I did get a chance to go to an Eastern European country in 2011 and see some of the beauty, including people and places, that I wouldn't have had a chance to see if that didn't happen.

I was wishing that I had seen these hot dancers in another club. I know full well what to expect going into Shotguns and know that I probably won't be getting dances. That doesn't mean that I don't accomplish my goal of killing some time in an entertaining way while on a business trip. I can also walk to Shotguns from several hotels so it's also about convenience.
I go into several clubs in the Westshore area of Tampa and know that I won't get a lot. If I go for dances in those clubs, I'll do timed dances or even do dances at the bar. I can still have fun hanging out with a hot girl without high mileage.
Shotguns is just really strict as they have a dance monitor that walks around like a school teaching nun with a ruler smacking dancer's knuckles for getting to close. At least that was my experience last year. I happened to find a girl that was good at hiding her actions and we didn't get in trouble like all the other dancers around us in the open VIP area.
I started getting dances in San Diego and they were all like Shotguns. I was blown away the first time I got dances in Tampa in the early 2000's and the girl was grabbing my hands and placing them on her body. Contact is always a nice pleasure but didn't know it was as prevalent until I got back into strip clubs after some time away. Hanging in a strip club for an hour or two always beats sitting in my hotel on a business trip.

Every day is a new exciting day for a new adventure. Even during lockdown, I only went between March and May for a fun club visit full of secretive full contact. That lockdown time might have even been better since girls were very appreciative of the few customers who came in.

^I've met a hot bartender's grandma at a strip club once. She was there with the bartender's parents as well. Grandma was a bit wild. I told the bartender to tell her grandma that I wanted a dance from her. She took it as the joke it was.
