OK - the story is boring, so sorry if it disappoints:
One day at my fave club I was in dire need of some gum after having polished off an oniony sandwich. There was no gum in the vending machine (which was located next to the men's room), and the men's room troll popped his head out and asked me if I'd like a stick of gum. I thought it was a very nice offer, so I said ok. Instead of bringing the gum out to me (I was all of 3 feet away), he asked me to come into the restroom. Ew. This poor guy was very lonely. So I went in and he wouldn't let me leave! He was talking a blue streak with me while all of these confused guys were coming in. Some guys even checked the outside of the door to make sure it was the men's room! Finally he "offered" me the gum for $2. WTF? $2 for a STICK of gum? So I gave him $3 to just get the hell outta there.
I promise my next story will be juicier.

Oh yes...all the time.
If there is an Amazon or otherwise large dominatrix type dancer in the club, she will find me, and usually proceed to abuse me in very fun ways. Come to think of it, I've been woman-handled by small dancers too.
I guess I must emit some form of submissive pheromone or something.

Here in LA all of the dancers I see regularly complain about how slow it is. Although the recession hit everyone hard, it hit especially hard here and in Orange County, as well as the Inland Empire.
If you want you can check out zbone.com for some info about local clubs in the LA/OC areas. Alot of the club reviews are old, but the readers review boards are mostly current (gotta take what you read with a grain of salt, tho).
I club in the greater LAX area, and clubs here are hurting. One long standing club just closed, and another will close sometime next year. But there is money to be had if you get to know the area and are willing to really hustle.

Yet another reason to go to clubs solo.
I'm always hesitant about taking "newbies" to clubs with me, especially other women. I've had to do alot of damage control over the years for some inappropriate or downright bizarre behaviours that some of my un-initiated friends have exhibited.
Like mmdv26 said, you'll more than likely be forgiven - but friends/acquaintances sure can be a pain in the ass sometimes, eh?

Well, in my case, the last several hours were spent semi-conscious after WAAAAAY too much cerveza. Thank goodness some good-hearted dancers kept an eye on me & my comatose posse.

Agree w/minnow - the Bare Elegances buffet & reg menu are top rate. The nearby Jet Strip also serves up some fine grub.
Shadow - good news/bad news about the Wild Goose:
the good news is that they still serve damn good meals - "Tri-Tip Thursdays" are still in effect (1/2 lb. tri-tip, veggie, mashed taters & roll & butter for $5.95).
the bad news is that after 45+ years they will close down next year.

Been there myself a few times in the distant past - less the drink-stirrers & straws in various orifices, tho. I think the only reason I didn't get the straw treatment was because my friends were passed out next to me.

I've mentioned TUSCL to a few dancers and pretty much got a blank stare. It surprised me that many dancers knew about zbone, tho. Some even post on zbone occasionally.

I won't wait two hours for any dancer. If there are no other dancers in the club that catch my eye, I'll leave. Life is too short to wait around for someone that doesn't even realize that you are waiting for her.
I will also never approach a dancer while she is sitting with another customer. I have had alot of guys do this to me, thinking that I was just a friend of the dancer's visiting with her. It really pissed me off, so I won't do it to anyone else.

As a woman, I can tell you that pussy smell, good or bad, is partly genetic, and partly environmental. If a pussy is genetically prone to smelling a bit off, poor hygiene will just make it that much worse. Those poor women have to work harder at keeping fresh. Likewise, a woman born with a minty fresh pussy can get away with alot more in terms of hygiene.
I hope you guys were paying attention, coz there's gonna be a quiz later.

All but one of my OTC encounters have cost me the price of a nice dinner. The one exception was a young lady really hard up for cash so I think I gave her $100 for the couple of hours we spent together (oh, and I paid for that nice dinner, of course).
