I don't go to strip clubs for food but I saw a customer eating one last week at the GoldRush in Atlanta. It looked great. I can't buy a T-Bone at the grocery store for that. I did eat a burger there about 5 years ago. It was reasonable and as good as any restaurant. The Pink Pony South in Atlanta has a sushi bar above the main stage. No thanks. I have eaten sushi in Japan. I consider it to be bait. The Wild Goose in Los Angeles always had a great buffet lunch. Pop has informed me that Savannah's in Columbia SC is giving free ribeye steak sandwiches with fries during happy hour on Fridays. I gotta try that. My favorite club, also in Columbia, offers free buffets. I have yet to try it. They have a new caterer and others have told me that it is very good. I did try free Brats during Monday night foot ball a while back and it sucked.

Do you ever go just for the food or would you prefer to DATY?

That's cheap, most places want $20-$30 for any type of steak.

The Acropolis in Portland, Oregon, has a nice 10-egg ham & cheese omelette on the menu for $6.50. I ate about 2/3rds one morning before I had to surrender due to a likely vomit had I ingestesd anymore.

First time I'd ever been at a strip club at 9am in the morning. They did have two girls dancing, by the way!

Would never go just for the food, but quality food at a good price has to be a plus so long as the girls are okay? $7.25 for a 16oz T-bone is exceptional value Shadowcat, are you going to have one if you go there again? Badda Bing had a free buffett one evening when I was there, had the impression it was a regular event. The food was great, shame I forgot to mention it in my review.

I'm pragmatic minded like lg. I view the lunchtime buffets as a time saving device, provided both food & dancers are basically good. I can eat, and evaluate the talent at the same time, in the 1st 20 minutes. Eating lunch at hotel or "regular restaurant" would kill 30 minutes or more, on top of talent evaluation time. My bufet recs would be Friday lunch buffet at Bare Ellegance- LAX, or Mens Club Dallas lunch specials on certain afternoons. Their (MC) Friday evening buffet is also good. I'm not a big fan of combining dining & club visit on a busy night- service has been very slow, in those cases.

Had a GREAT cheeseburger at Big Earl's in Des Moines, several years ago. I recently went to a club for lunch, to eat the food. I reviewed Centerfolds in Springfield, Missouri, and went there just for the food. It was outstanding.

I like the idea of eating sushi off a woman's body...

The thing I have noticed about "free" food in the strip club is to increase drink sales. There is a free prime rib buffet at columbus gold on friday afternoons with no cover charge but you end up having to buy a drink or 2 and that adds up to $12-15 easily.

Also Dream girls gives you a free meal ticket ( choice of steak burger or veggie burger) if you go during dayshift (11:30 am to 7:30 pm) and the cover charge is $10. The waitress takes your meal ticket and on their menus it says they need 45 minutes to prepare your food! The food tasted awful and the waitress told me that they do not have "to go" boxes to eat it later. This club also states it is against club policy to serve ice water and requires the purchase of a bottle water.

Kahoot's is my favorite place to eat. I have gone there several times just to eat. Fast service and no promotional "free" gimmicks. They are also the only strip club to be a member of the Better Business Bureau that I know of in the Columbus area.

samsung1, you learned a valuable lesson that is also worthy to keep in mind when dealing with schiesters like government types or used car salesmen or environmentalists:

There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

londonguy, Yes. Probably next week and for dessert? Btw regular drink price for a rum & coke was $4.75. A lot less than most clubs. Are some clubs getting smarter?

Lucky you shadowcat, no doubt you won't be paying for dessert :-). Maybe some clubs are getting smarter?

I think the biggest rip off besides strip clubs claiming "free" lunch are the online casinos claiming "free" bonuses. Some of them are OK such as bodog but others of them claim "free" bonus on your first deposit only to learn that you can't withdraw your money until you have rolled over/wagered all of your money x10. So if you deposit $100 and receive a "free" $50 bonus you can't withdraw any money until you wager $1500. And then some of them even charge a withdraw fee of $40. Bodog is at least nice enough to give you a free withdraw every month and then charge $40 for each additional.

The funny thing about withdrawing from bodog is that they send your check using fedex and require a signature for receiving it. They can't just send it via us postal because they are located in costa rica or some other central latino american country.

Two clubs I visit have food available for sale outside. One is selling hot dogs, hamburgers, and nachos. Not really appetizing. But the other place, Brass Flamingo, has a taco vendor parked outside. The dayshift DJ cooks on weekends----and it's outstanding. This guy sells the best chicken burrito I've ever eaten. Seriously.

The St James in Houston has good lunches. The Thursday Mexican plate is excellent. They also have a good happy hour buffet. A lot of times I will go their to eat, rather than eating before. The food is restaurant quality.

i've been away from the d.c. area for a while, by the Crystal City Restaurant, which is a strip club of sorts, used to have a huge portion of prime rib with baked potato for either 7.95 or 8.95.

I was going to plug the Crystal City Restaurant too, imnumnutz! I always thought the huge Tuna steak (fill in your own joke here) for 7.95 or so was a great deal. Have also had some great free BBQ buffet-style food in a Dallas club (Sugar's?).

Last time I was in Denver Platinum 84 had guys out back grilling up all kinds of food. Free with all the fixins, hot chicks and beer pong. Not a cheap steak but not bad either.

A lot of strip clubs in columbus are located around 24/7 fast food places. You get much better value for your money at the fast food places and sadly the quality of fast food is better than most strip club food around here.
dreamgirls is right across from mcd's, kahoot's is across from white castle, col gold and vanity are near mcd's, the former lollipop's was next to a waffle house (one of my favorites for late night clubbing).

Agree w/minnow - the Bare Elegances buffet & reg menu are top rate. The nearby Jet Strip also serves up some fine grub.

Shadow - good news/bad news about the Wild Goose:

the good news is that they still serve damn good meals - "Tri-Tip Thursdays" are still in effect (1/2 lb. tri-tip, veggie, mashed taters & roll & butter for $5.95).

the bad news is that after 45+ years they will close down next year.

In Phoenix, the Hiliter has a decent lunch menu and the prices are reasonable. When my GF worked there, I would go in Fri at lunch time, eat a burger or cajun chicken sandwich, and let her steal my fries.

At the the Playhouse near the Detroit airport, the dinner food was good, and the bench seating arrangement promoted sitting and snuggling with a girl while you noshed. Once, a girl and I fed each other from my plate (there are some famous movie scenes like that), and when we retired into the dance area, the dances were extra special.

But most of the time, I treat Jack Daniels on-the-rocks as one of the food groups.

jayray, there is a real shadow cat. He got his name from following me around like a shadow. He is 11 1/2 years old now and weighs in at 15lbs ( not fat. Just big)I would love to to take him to a strip club. The girls would love him. Can you imagine "Yes you can pet my pussy, if I can pet yours"? My avatar will never change.
