I get stuck with this babysitting crap all the time. It's not too bad if they only leave their stuff with you for a few minutes, but when they disappear for what seems like forever that I start getting annoyed. Only once did I get so pissed that I walked into the dressing room and dropped her stuff on a table and stormed out.

My friend did that once - stupidly wrapped a dollar around a quarter and knuckleballed the dancer right in the eye. Helluva shot from waaaaay back in the club. He felt really bad about it and wound up buying something like 15 dances from her because of it. So, in a sense, she got her payout.

@Estafador - FWIW some girls do that "look up" thing when they're eating pussy, too. Don't know why. It kinda creeps me out sometimes, especially when they intently stare. When I'm DATY I don't do the "look up" thing....I prefer to be staring at the juicy pussy in front of me.

yeah - many of these dancers are terrible salespeople...we see it in the clubs and on our phones too. Many that work at upscale clubs w/ their upscale prices can't compete with the cheaper clubs. Those dancers are the ones that might be most interested in taking it OTC, however.
For me, regular dancers are a PITA. They get too possessive, and before you know it you've been claimed as her bitch and no other dancers will come near you - sometimes this happens after only one visit. No thanks. I'll forgo consistency for the ability to remain drama free. But to each their own.

I've never prepaid for anything ITC or OTC, and I never will. You are paying for a service, and a tip is given if that service was good. Would you pre-tip a waitress at a restaurant? Of course not. If a stripper ever tried to get a tip out of me up front, I'd walk right then & there. Talk about a pre-dance buzzkill.

Same here, sclvr. The dancers at some of the topless joints keep the dances at a fixed price, and any dancer that tries to undercut them is read the riot act and will usually be forced to leave. That keeps the dance prices right where the dancers want them, much to our chagrin.

I'll usually stick it out and see what happens. Sometimes it just isn't working, and I'll bail after 30 minutes if I don't see anything to my liking, or there are no dancers working the floor or the stage. But I don't think that I've ever turned & burned.

Don't worry guys - I give each and every dancer a thorough exam at each visit, and I will often let them check mine, too. As many times as necessary, coz you can never be too safe. It's the least I can do to help maintain a healthy stripper community.

Yup - sclvr is right, on many fronts....especially his last sentence.
For us Angelenos (and OCers) zbone is our lifeline to the latest club news, gossip & dancer interfacing (aka "dates"). TUSCL is of limited interest in the review area, since zbone caters specifically to my hunting grounds.

I think that I only have 2 posters on ignore. Personally, as annoying as some here are (juicebox) I don't think censorship is the way to go - use the ignore feature if need be. I actually enjoyed juicebox's posts in the beginning, but lately it's just gotten ridiculous. Like sclvr said - now he just gives me a headache.

L.A. is rabidly anti-smoking, and it's been outlawed in public places here for so long that I can't even remember when it was allowed. There is zero tolerance for it. I don't recall ever seeing someone trying to sneak in a puff or two....they would probably get a fire hose turned on them. Or they'd be arrested.

I haven't ever really complained to management but I have complained ABOUT them. Once when I (and every other customer in the club) sat around for an hour with no dancers on stage or even out hustling on the floor, I decided that I had had enough. As I walked to the exit I noted that the daytime manager was standing at the door talking to the bartender. I stopped briefly to light him up for allowing the dancers to hide in the DR while we all sat around staring at the walls. I went so far as to open my wallet for him so that he could see the $$$ that was now leaving his club. He stammered a lame apology and said that he would go to the DR and drag the girls out to the floor. I told him forget it, it's too late now. Once the dancers start calling the shots, it's all over.

The dynamics are different for me for sure. But I just adjust as best I can and usually let the dancer lead, unless she starts leading me down a path that I don't like. Then I take the reins.

No...I should have said something, but I was so surprised that I just kind of froze for a few seconds....long enough for the staff to scuttle off to do their jobs and leave me open-mouthed at the bar wondering what the hell just happened. Luckily I did have a nice visit with that dancer, but you better believe that that club is off my rotation til at least 2014!

Yeah, Alucard, that's what I've been doing, and so far it's working out pretty good. But to tell you how bad it can be, I tried a brand new club 3 weeks ago. Saw a dancer onstage that was just my type, so I tipped her well and she spent the better part of 3 hours with me - chatting, dancing...a great time. I returned to that club recently (my second visit) and upon entering I was informed by both the manager & the bartender that "my" dancer had just arrived and was in the dressing room. You have GOT to be kidding me. That's just how fast it sometimes happens.

Alucard - Believe it or not,I regularly rotate thru at least 8 clubs (the greater LA/OC area has TONS of clubs), and I have run into this type of issue, in one form or another, at every single club. The good thing is that since there are so many clubbing options, by the time I rotate back to the first club there should be a completely new roster of dancers. Hopefully.

Well, OP - are you looking for mileage, eye candy, or a bit of both? That can be a huge factor in deciding which city to visit.
