Make that, Once a month I drive 240 miles to my favorite club. I'm in the same boat as Shadowcat--I drive 225 miles to my favorite club. Alas, I can't make it the three day extravaganza that the does. I usually get the club about 5:00 P.m., stay through 7:00 shift change, leave about 9:00 for a good steak, then come back about 11:00, and ride the place out to closing time. Catch a few hours sleep in a nearby cheap hotel, then back on the road... the whole deal, portal to portal, ends up at being just about 24 hours, which I do every couple of months. It's a nice little mini-vacation.

FONDL, I'm way ahead of you...Indy is exactly my ldestination. First it was for the club, then for an ATF, who retired, and now back to going for the particular club. Although I hear of a club in Kokomo that I'm tempted to try...but perhaps you include that in "Indy."

FONDL, you're killin' me....Brad's is the destination of choice. As you can see from checking out my reviews on this site, I agree with your assesment completely. The place in Kokomo that I am tempted by is Harem House, which I believe makes the top 40, or perhaps even top 10, on this site. But because I enjoy Brad's so much, I can never pull the trigger and put the extra hour on the trip that it would take to get to Kokomo...for an uncertain return. By the way, the "Chitown" refers to an earlier stage of my life...I now live in another metropolitan area that is about three hours from Indy..and reputed to have some fairly good clubs, although I wouldn't know....

Ironic...my experience is the opposite of FONDL's...I have found that the afternoons is when the dancers are tied up with regulars...whereas I have found it to be more "wide open" during the evenings. Actually, I have had my best tiimes at Brad's from 11:00 to 3:00 am closing... I was last at Brad's about six weeks ago, and the $50 VIPs were still going strong, with no signs of stopping. I have never had a dancer refuse to go to VIP because she could make more money on the floor, although, from a logical point of view, you're exacltly right..assumiing that a dancer could stay busy, she makes more money from table/couch dances.

Yeah, we seem to have a little Brad's fan club going here. I am assuming that everyone is talking about the Brass. I have never been in the Gold Club...the reviews I read suggest that it is OK, but not better than the Brass. I have certainly done my part in reviewing Brad's...I think I have four posted reviews, maybe more. In fact, I feel kind of guilty about the fact that my free membership has been extended so many times on the basis of reviews for a single club...maybe I ought to stop into Brad's Gold CLub or Dancers in the interest of more diverse public service. I travel to Indy from the west, so Dancers is right on the way. I went there a couple of years ago, and it was OK, but not as friendly as Brad's . An interesting thing about Brad's is the friendliness of everyone, including the other patrons. The last time I went there, I drank free all night on the tab of another customer who recognized me from an earlier trip. Even though I am always in a suit and tie when I go, I feel very comfortable. Still do miss Rachel, though, my ATF.... Never made into Industrial Strip. I now live further from Chicago than from Indy, so I will only go to Industrial Strip if business should take me to Chicago..therefore, I have no better chance of getting there than to just about any club in the U.S.

Oh, he meant the PATRON climaxing. That's different. I'm in the same boat as the others. It has happened to me, but never by accident. The dancer has either told me in advance that same was her goal, or has afterward remarked on it in a wistful, amused way. I have certainly never had a dancer get noticeably disgusted or angered by it. One time a dancer told me that I should round my tip (payment, that it) off to the next hundred (involving an addition of about $40) because of the efficacy of her ministrations, but I think she was kidding. I did, anyway. She deserved every penny.

I may be an easy mark, but I always tip $10 on top of the "sticker price," unless the dance was so bad as to have been unconscionable. Dancers talk, and if the word is out that you are a cheap ass, it's going to fuck up your chances with a lot of the dancers. I've been known to tip double or better for "extraordinary service," but this falls into the "YMMV" area

I go to sc's for one reason--lap dances--and everything leading to that point is focused on getting the best ld's possible. When I go into the club, I get a seat that gives me a good view of the stage, but not on pervert row. When I see a girl who appeals to me, I go to pervert row, tip $5, and ask her to come to my table. If she does, and we hit it off, I'll get a couch dance from her. If that seems promising, we'll escalate to VIP, the moment of truth. In the club that I usually go to, I know who the good VIP girls are, so I can skipt the above process. However, if I find myself in a new club, or I want variety, that is the process I follow.

I admit it. I'm shallow. At the risk of sounding/being cynical, the strip club experience, from my point of view is based on the exchange of two commodities: My money; and The dancer's sexuality/sensuality. Therefore, I expect the dancer to appeal to my sense of sexuality/sensuality, which includes having a build within normal body range (actually, my preferences extend a little into what would be included slightly overweight). If I can connect with a dancer personally, and even strike up a friendship occasionally, that's great, too. But I have a lot of female friends, of all ages, body types, and appearance, outside the strip club world. However, they do not rub their naked bodies on me, nor in many cases would I want them to. My ego is strong enough to accept the fact that many, if not most dancers, would not, in open society, without financial inducement, come into close physical contact with a man old enough to be their father (OK, their much older brother). I know that the reason they are willing to do it is because of the money I give them. I'm OK with that, but the trade off is that they have to satisfy my standards of attractiveness. I don't have to satisfy their standards of attractiveness because my friends Andrew, Ulysses and Benjamin have that covered for me. Harsh reality is better than none at all.

To me, mileage is it. I can see pretty women, in various stages of dress and undress, in all kinds of places in RL. The only thing that differentiates the SC experience from that which occurs in any other kind of bar is touching young, beautiful, (semi-)naked women. I have never been in a sc that offered only air dances, but I would be gone from there within five minutes of so finding out (have to finish my drink. Let's not get crazy here). If I was in a club that offered high mileage with women so skanky that it wasn't worth it, I would probably find some other, non-sc related way to spend my time, rather than go to a bar that had 10s who gave only air. I should add that a lack of clothing can add substantially to the rating a woman gets.

I'm with Kyle on this one...if they can remember that I have set foot in the club before, I consider that to be impressive. (assuming that they can pin down some verifiable fact that means they aren't bullshitting.). If figure that these girls see so many guys that the chances of anyone being especially memorable are not too good.

Some professions just can't be seen in strip clubs, i.e, clergy, judges, elected public officials, law enforcement I would suggest that this be amended to say that they can't be seen in strip clubs in the jurisdiction in which they work. I know of a county in which some of the judges and prosecutors routinely went on "perversion excursions"--but it involved a two hour road trip each way, well outside the county they worked in. Unfortunately, the feds cracked down on the strip club for tax evasion, which resulted in subpoenas for trial testimony being issued to several prosecutors and their chief investigator--and also resulted in at least one wrecked marriage.

For example, I dont consider consentual sex between an 18 year old guy and his 17 year old girlfriend to be rape but the law does. This is not necessarily true. In Illinois, the statutory rape laws only outlaw _consensual_ sex with an underage person if there is an age difference of greater than five years between the perpetrator and the victim, assuming that the victim is fourteen years or greater (sex with a person thirteen years of less is always a crime). Also, the age of consent in Illinois is sixteen. This obviously varies from state to state. I think in Mississippi or Louisiana (or both), the age of consent is fourteen. Thus, an eighteen year old male who has sex with his fifteen year old girlfriend in Illinois cannot be charged with statutory rape. He can be charged with other lesser offenses, however, such as indecent liberties, disorderly conduct, or contributing to the deliquency of a minor. However, all of these carry far lighter penalities than aggravated sexual assault.

I've been the recipient of a couple of OTC propositions. I have never taken anyone up on them, because I believe them to be just SS. However, another thought that I have had is that they may be a set up for an encounter with Jason, the stripper's boyfriend, who just got out of prison, and is looking to make some money in a way that is not as time-intensive as his girlfriend's...using, perhaps, a tire iron rather than a g-string. In my defense, I should state that I paid my standard rate, which admittedly includes a generous tip, but no more of a tip than that which does not involve extras (I generally tip around 100% to all sc personnel. But I only get to a sc every couple of months or so, so for me it is more like an outing to Six Flags than a regular part of my routine.)
