Most of the time I don't overpay. It's rare that a dancer I try does multiple songs and then goes high at the end. It's been long enough where I don't remember the last time it happened, but there are girls who've tried to raise the rate as they're getting started.
The last time it happened a few weeks ago I gently put my hand just above her ass and said "that's ok". She decided to charge a normal rate and I could tip her if I thought she did a great job. I could tell she was trying really hard so I did give her a small tip at the end.
I find it's mainly the younger ones who figure they've got the guy there already and he's hungry enough where he'll cave in the moment.

I don't see it debated much on the TUSCL boards, but skibum's point about the customers who want to be known as clubgoers and those who don't is something I've seen as a situation IRL. On TUSCL we're already behind screen names, so this bunch is already leaning toward the side of anonymity by default. Any of you guys out there live streaming or posting photos from the clubs?

All I'm really thinking at this point is how the fun police have really fucked up a great hobby. It's not really a question of which towns are ruined it's which ones aren't, especially post-COVID. Even Detroit's taken some hits but sounds like it's still a strip club destination worth traveling for. Baltimore hasn't been mentioned yet as a town whose fun meter is way down from its glory days. There's also Seattle and San Diego.

Not to mention on the pandemic front it disrupted millions of lives in the US (and billions around the world) so priorities are naturally going to shift. Prioritizing has never really been my strong suit so...

TheeOSU you've got a good point. It's kinda the elephant in the room in just about every hobby discussion since the pandemic started. But I also think that ended up being an "agree to disagree" thing because if people were concerned about their health who was I to disagree because I was still in the clubs? Just speaking for myself on that of course.

PSA: All Baltimore club noobs in search of mileage should report directly to the Block and park on a street that crosses Baltimore Street. If you're afraid of getting robbed on a side street, park in a garage because they are better monitored and the main walkways to and from are better lit.
All other clubs in 2022 are essentially locals joints now and your skills will be tested. If you bring skills, the reviews will tell you where to try your luck. Unless you're McNulty, that place is not Penthouse lol.

I'm thinking Leonard was just trying to cheer up FTS with stories of it could always be worse. If taken at face value, just realizing that FTS hasn't really shared much about himself in the years he's been hanging around TUSCL. Having realistic expectations is important, too. Half of what you read on TUSCL about high mileage in clubs is posturing and bullshit, and the other half is idealized and cherry picked. Except for what shadowcat says about Gwen because that shit was 1000% true and you younguns missed out. But like any infomercial, the results described here are not typical.

If the value and virtue of people is what determined whether they were worthy of help, there would a lot more people meeting bad ends in this world. There are times in history where you can look at an event and it's pretty clear cut whose on the wrong side of things.

The only time I've ever "argued" over paying for a dance is when a stripper has passed out in the middle of a song on my lap and tried to charge me when she came to. When they're not passed out and just terrible, it depends on how hot she is. A few times I've let really hot dancers dog it for a couple of dances but if they do something I like I'll respond enough to let them know it. Then when the mood hits they turn into freaks and it's an instant classic.

If you don't know what to do and don't care how much money you spend, just go to the Block in Baltimore. You'll learn all the lessons you need to with any option you might want. If Hustlers is open, new customers should go there first.

If it's a new girl, I'm with rattdog on this one. Better to get one under the belt than have to work it out again (bush in the hand and whatnot). Rick was saying this is a pad he's landed on before, so it's probably something he can line up again.
To the question, I've had it happen before. It was called a pandemic (thanks COVID) and called for a level of creativity that's led to a couple of years of stories I might write down one day.

Post-COVID things have been a little tougher in the clubs. For your situation I'd think it would be more club-to-club than a particular location. A few years back there was a TUSCLer who went by JudyJudy. She was a more mature lady who dabbled in dancing. I could never get my job to send me to Detroit (who knew that a business reason was a requirement for business travel?) but I would've tried to catch up with her. And if not there would've been lots of clubs around to make up for the disappointment.

I know a stripper who's also a drug dealer, or is she a drug dealer who's also a stripper? Think it was a trend for a while throw a strip club scene in a movie to get an easy R. It was probably just a coincidence some of my favorite movies as a kid had those scenes. Hadn't really thought much about the portrayal of dancers except for when it took me out of the story (like Natalie Portman looking like a little kid next to Clive Owen or Elizabeth Berkley lap dancing like a crosswired toy) but I'd imagine it's pretty cringe to watch actors trying to make a go of it.
