    Closing the front room?
I favor keeping Front Room open, if only to give non- VIP newbs a place to post prior to obtaining VIP status. I recall being able to post prior to submitting my first review. I'd already been to several recent clubs, but felt unsure how to grade. So in my very first thread, I presented 2-3 scenarios with different levels of club plushness, dancer attractiveness, and "fun" levels to get an idea on how people grade things. I got some good replies, which provided useful reference frame for my initial (and subsequent) reviews. Absent that option, I might have submitted some reviews anyway, but wouldn't have felt the same confidence in my grades. At the end of the day, it's your site. If you feel that the pain (higher maintenance) is not worth the gain (potential additional membership) it's your call.

    Verified and Certifiable Super-Reviewer
Making the effort to rate clubs fairly
Like pornography, I trust that rick recognizes a "drive by" review when he sees one. Yet on the flip side, how many dog turds does one have to eat to know that they don't like the taste of dog shit. Often, I can tell within 15 minutes how well I'm going to like the club (or not). If I'm vacationing in an area, and encounter a lackluster day shift, I might try (and report on) a subsequent night shift to balance the overall review. If not, I'll give it a mediocre grade like I did with a fairly well appointed Dallas club over 10 years ago, taking extra care to mention that it was a slow day shift that I was reviewing.

    Dumbest stripper outfits?
I mostly agree with bbb23 post, even if I don't take her seriously. I'm not a big fan of outfits that cover too much or are too elaborate to take of (leg stringy wrap, etc). The "onesies" seem to be the latest rage at some FL nude clubs. I'm not that fond of the look, but if it keeps the dancers warm in a high flow air conditioned place and puts them in a better mood- I can go along with that. I'm not a fan of body stockings-- do like onesie fishnet outfits. As I told 1 dancer "fishnets are good for catching minnows."

OT: I grew up believing this myth about cars
Fyi, Miami actually got some snow in January 1977. Besides the reasons listed, if you're burning gas, you might as well be going somewhere. Just avoid jack rabbit starts, or too many Rpms. This isn't listed in any car manuals, but another type/application of internal combustion engine requires a minimum oil temperature of 120 degrees F prior to applying full (throttle) power. Very few cars have oil temp gauge, but on one that did (Corvette) it would take 5 to 7 minutes to get above 120 degrees F in the winter. (Normal fully warmed up temp ~ 200 degrees F). That's starting out from a garage. Shadowcat, I get around that freezing rain scenario by buying a residence with a 2-car garage. Humor aside, I'm guessing that you encountered freezing rain on your drive home from ATL airport. I'll tell you about my late night arrival from business trip to find my car caked with ice sometime. That was a real bitch replete with me having to spray travel size cologne bottle on door locks to get key in lock, then warming up engine to run defrost enough to start to melt ice for useable scraping (deice spray was practically useless), then spinning out 2 times before I just stayed in hotel overnight rather than drive 20 plus miles in freezing rain. Fortunately, freezing rain changed to normal rain after sunrise.

    RIP George H.W. Bush
+1 on many of the above comments, especially the 1st 4 posts. Bush 41 holds the distinction of being the longest lived US president (94 plus years), though if Jimmy Carter manages to live 112 days past 30 Nov 2018, he'll surpass Bush 41.

    Skinny strippers
CC, you're just sending us off on a fool's errand, because the weight range you listed (115 - 130 lbs) could be considered being within 10% of the ideal body weight for a lot of women. Indeed, a 5'8" woman weighing between 126 and 167 lbs could fall within 10% of ideal range, depending on whether she is small, medium, or large framed. The subjective term "skinny" would seem to imply someone who was more than 10% below the ideal weight for her height, i.e., less than 126 lbs for a small framed 5'8" woman. Although I suspect that if you were to post some pictures of women who you considered to be skinny, you'd probably get a lot of agreement, ultimately skinny exists in the eye of the beholder.

Founder: something needs to be done
I agree with Che's suggestions, except to encourage new membership, I'd allow just 1 "freebie" prior to submitting their first review. I recall my very first post where I presented some club scenario visits with different levels of fun, dancer attractiveness, and club amenities. I asked how people would grade the club, which gave me helpful guidelines for submitting my first few reviews. I keep hearing the rationalization for keeping things status quo that more hits = more ad revenue. OK, but too many trolls treating Tuscl as their own low cost (FREE) version of Facebook (re- starting a new thread every time they fart, or get a girly crush on a guy) wastes bandwidth that could otherwise be used for useful reviews and club discussions.

What makes you go/not go to a club?
dolfan and D-creep covered many of my thoughts on the subject. In addition to that, if a club compares unfavorably to other clubs in area, I'll tend not to go, even if they may be at an acceptable level compared to other areas. Lastly, very few clubs are good in all areas, but enough hot dancers with good mileage can more than offset gripes in other areas.

    OT: Insane Lottery
@DM- Different states have different income tax rates, so the take home pay would not be uniform across the board. @Vb- Point well taken, but if there are multiple winners, and just one opts for annuity, then all winners must take annuity. If multiple winners, and 1 unclaimed winner for protracted period, I think annuity becomes the default option.

I see that the cash value option is $565.6M. Depending on residency, winner might clear ~ $280M - $300M. Winner that opts for annuity payout option would gross ~ $25M in 1st year, ~$52M in last year (26 years ?) Think you could handle that ?

Photo Y'all Requested, and Story of Last Night
@Titus23- A few nights ago, an enhanced multi-ethnic dancer at Mons Venus enlightened this old timer about the existence of Mastro's chain. I'd never heard of it, and for good reason. There's not much more Mastro's than there are Rolls Royce dealers. Strangely enough she'd never heard of Bern's steakhouse, a Tampa landmark. Typical gold digger traveling dancer . Rick Dugan, if you're reading this, have you ever patronized a Mastro's. If so, how was the experience ?
