Here a few.
1) Wants payed upfront.
2) Complains about stripper stereotypes.
3) Complains about how certain dancers go to far.
4) Awkward on stage,.
5) Gets lots of rejections, when she asks for a private dance, especially if she is hot.
While, I have had some really good dances from dancers who gave one or more of the above red flags, most of the time when I ignored my instincts and went for it, I ended up being severely disappointed.

Something similar happened to me at Henry's last year, with a birthday girl being tied up with a bunch of her regulars. Must be a Detroit thing, since I haven't had this occur in other cities, even though I have seen a lot of birthday parties over the years.

I have noticed the opposite in several clubs, where the GQ customers are treated like VIP's and the bouncers lead the hottest dancers to them.
While for the dancers it doesn't matter. Most strippers don't care how good looking a customer is as long as he is willing to pay. Heck it doesn't even matter the sexual preferences of the dancer. I have gotten extras in a strip club from several self professed lesbians, towards the end of shift while her significant other was waiting in the club to drive her home.

As others said, a lot of dancers I know actually would love it if they didn't have to dance on stage.
I recall a few times where a dancer was told not to dance on stage. One time I recall was a dancer who had few close calls on stage when she was drunk, so if she drank she didn't dance on stage. They let her give lap dances but not dance on stage.
I do recall one so called upscale club in Cleveland, I think it was Christies, in the early 90's would only allow the top earning dancers to dance on the main stage, while the side stages any dancer could dance on.

Last time I was in Tampa at Mons, 2001 and Scarlets, it was mostly Cubans and White dancers, very few AA, and a high proportion of blondes compared to other cities.

My preferences.
A pretty face, friendly attitude are paramount. Looks wise I like long to medium long hair. Short to medium height, 4'10 to 5'7. Petite 4'10 to 5'2 inch dancers often give the best dances, and 5'5 to 5'7 dancers often look the hottest on stage. Tight, firm, athletic body, tight firm butt, firm natural breasts, as long as they look nice, and don't sag. B to C cup usually look the best, but a nice well shaped D cup really turns my head. I also like nice eraser sized nipples.
As for dances, I like dancers who know the correct way to give pressure while moving herself smoothly along my body. I like a dancer who looks into my eyes, whispers sexily into my ears, without sounding silly.

Nice list of dancers to look out for next trip. Recognized a few.
Jasmine is strange had three different dances, first was decent, so went for a second a few months later which was even better, then the third time she was extremely flaky with some hygiene issues.
If it's the same Alexa I remember, I have been trying to get a dance from her every trip but so far she's been occupied the entire time.
I also have had some great times with hot looking redheads, so will definitely be looking up Cassidy.

As long as the name is sexy I don't really care.
Now that said, there have been a few names I heard that didn't seem to work, such as: Olga, Olive, Gertrude, Pearl, Hazel, Henrietta, and Helga.
Other times there have been names that work, except when there are several dancers. For instance I have known several Jay's and Kay's, but having a Jay and a Kay in the same club is a bit too much.
Same with similar sounding names such as Anaya, Anya, Anaira, Anika, and Anita, all working at the same club. I was interested in Anaya and almost asked for Anaira.

The most blatant club ads, literally read like an ad. There was one I saw a while back, that mentioned stuff like the excellent selection of cigars, friendly wait staff, how helpful the VIP room attendant was, how professional the bathroom attendant was, and how great the DJ was.
None of the above would in no way make me choose one club over the other. In fact I don't think I would want to be in the same zip code of whatever person would think any of those things would be a good reason to visit.

Putting prices in the reviews is not needed. The clubs main summary page includes the price of lap dances. If a person doesn't look at the summary page first, then that's their problem.
I for one don't want to read 20 reviews that repeat the same thing over and over again.
In fact most of the stuff Clubber mentions in Item c) should be on the summary page not reviews.

I don't purposefully talk dirty to dancers, but have had a few talk dirty to me, and most plain suck at it.
If there is any dirty talk it's usually stupid stuff like
Dancer: Someones enjoying himself.
Me: Oh, what makes you say that?
Dancer: Oh, I don't know, I kind of just have a feeling, a very big feeling.
Me: I bet you do.

I shoot for a bit of both. My most memorable dances start off as a two or three song full contact lap dance that ends in extras. A warmup dance from a really good lap dancer followed by amazing extras is also quite fun. Years ago I used to get a three song set from this hot and usually a bit wasted spinner- who gave an amazing grind, then right after go into the back with one of three different dancers depending on who was there, who were great at finishing me off. If more than one were there then I had a specific order of who to choose.

I haven't noticed any real correlation between how drunk a dancer is and whether she initiates extras. Neither have I noticed any correlation on whether she offers a discount on dances. One area I have noticed a correlation is on pricing of extras. I have had many dancers offer a $150 BJ sober, and $80 slightly drunk another time in the same club.

My two current faves both get around $120 a typical visit, and days when the club is slow with no other good dancers available, then it's closer to $200.

I have seen small and large boobs among Asians. However I have noticed different areas have different percentages. The only Asian women who have consistently had tiny tits have been Thai, and also seemed to have the largest nipples. The Asians with the highest number of large tits have been Japanese, closely followed by Korean.
Back in my Sophomore year of Collage, the Chem Lab TA was from Korea. She was hot, wore very revealing tops and had at least DD tits, all natural. Most of the guys in the class would ask her to stop by to help their labs.
I have seem many Indian women with large tits, however out of the four I have ever seen dance in a strip club, only one had large tits.
As others have said, it often depends on diet. Interestingly the Indians I have met with larger breasts have all been vegetarians and on the heavier side. The thinner ones with smaller tits ate more meat.

My biggest weakness is a dancer with a tight firm body, nice tits, large erect nipples, an ornery attitude, wearing a nice revealing shirt, sitting next to me in such a way as to show off her nice tits, firm body. Add in her hands playing with me an I am in the back with her emptying my wallet in no time.

Doctor evil is right. Many times when I asked what we can do in the VIP, we can't do here, I'll usually get something on the order, of the following four types of replies.
The first will have a lot of vague replies like. It's more private. We can get nude, if the club only allows nude in the VIP. It's a lot more fun. This basically means you are just getting the same dance you get in the front. Several dancers will even tell me, "it's not worth it." Several even bring up OTC after this.
The next type is stuff like. We can touch each other a lot more. We can get away with more back there.
We can touch each other a lot more. The bouncers check on us less. Most of the time this means you'll get a better dance, but may not be worth it.
The third you hear stuff like "I'll get you off." "You'll leave satisfied." "I think you'll be happy." This is often in addition to the second type. It can be good or not.
Finally, in many cases she'll get very descriptive, although often not out in the main floor. I had a few dancers offer a regular lap dance to see if I like it, then during the lap dance say, "if you head to the champagne room, you can take it out and we can have a lot of fun."

I had a similar experience to Shadowcat a few years ago. One of my favorites at the time got arrested for fighting in the club, that combined with one too many DUI's, spent a few months in county lockup.
When she was released, she was allowed to still work in the club, as long as the club put her on the no alcohol list. Now you know this is common, when a club has a non drinking list for dancers.
The first time I got a dance after she came back, it was so lame, almost entirely air, so I quit after one. She didn't seem to be very happy I quit, and didn't stop by for several months after this, which was probably a good thing since I wasn't going to get a dance from her as long as it stayed the same.
After about 6 months or so, was allowed to drink again, but was placed on a limit. She avoided me for a while, then one day stops by like nothing had changed, and asks if I wanted a dance. She seemed back to her normal self, so I went back with her for a very good dance.

The number one trend I am seeing is more dancers with short trimmed pussy hair, rather than being completely bare.
Here are a few trends I have noticed.
A marked decrease in tit size and implants in the more upscale clubs. Dancers are either very short, petite almost pixy looking and the rest tall, starving fashion model bodies. Not very many average height, or breasts beyond a C cup, and very few implants, and a lot less dancers with tattoos.
The next step down from upscale clubs is almost the complete opposite.
A lot more dancers with a very large amount of tattoos, including on their chest. I am talking Anna Belle Peaks, Bonnie Rotten and Kleio Valentien amounts of tattoos.
A lot more with large breasts, especially implants, and also a lot more either out of shape or thin, nothing in between.
I have also noticed a change in non-stripper jobs, and college majors from dancers. Before it was almost always either Nurse, Dental Assistant, and Fitness trainer. Now I am hearing Paralegal, Real Estate Agent, and Secretary. Majors in college I am also hearing IT, Accounting and Law. The last time I heard dancers mention those jobs and majors, was back around 2005 / 2006 right before the economy collapsed.
The only job that hasn't changed is model, although I have heard a lot more mention modelling than a few years ago.

Papi, I noticed the same thing about black dancers. Until about two years ago, the majority of black dancers were ultra thick and didn't appeal to me. Now I am finding a lot higher percentage of black dancers in both black and non-black clubs are my favorite body type.
Unfortunately I am also finding a trend of mare that that are almost anorexic thin, no tits, no ass. Hopefully that trend doesn't increase.

Here are a few bad ones I recall. First is with one of my current favorites. Things started fine as usual, but it was soon apparent, that she was a bit more wasted then normal. Still she seemed Ok, so we head to back for uptime. Things start off ok, then she starts flipping out. Next thing I know she starts arguing with the air. At first I thought it was one of the bouncers who monitors the speakers in the room, but then seemed like shw was hallucinating.
When the 2-4-1 ends I get up to leave and she doesn't budge, so I pick her up put her down on the couch, place the $40 on the counter and leave. About four minutes later two bouncers head in to the room and escort her to the dressing room. Next visit to the club, she was back to normal. Didn't even remember seeing me that day.
Another was a short, older redhead at Henry VIII in Detroit, who I had a decent time with before. I asked her for a dance early in her shift, but she had a few guys ahead of her. So as I usually do I went on to other dancers. Didn't find any good ones that day, and was about to leave, when she finally tells me she is ready. In the two hours since I first saw her, she must have had 8 drinks. She was fine until she got in the back, and after she undressed, she literally stood there for 1 song swaying and staring off into space.

Sirens and Columbus gold several. The dancers at Kahoots, mostly went to CG and Vanity according to other dancers, and I have seen a few ex-Kahoots dancers, most notably Cristie. Never got into her that much, hot body, friendly but mediocre dance.
Haven't been to Vanity in a while so can't verify this.
