Visited: Saturday After Midnight

I visited the Flight Club during prime time on Saturday night about 22:00. There was an $8 mandatory valet. You pay the valet when you pick up your car. The dress code prohibits white t-shirts, athletic wear, and hoodies. The cover charge to get inside was $20. A bottle of Sincweiser was $9! Yikes! I bought a shot from the shot girl for one of the dancers that sat with me. The shot was $6. On the third beer I bought, I paid with a $20 bill. The waitress never brought back the change and went ahead and served other tables. I had to flag her down and remind her that she owed me change. I am not sure if it was a scam that she runs or if she honestly forgot. I like the fact that each waitress has a designated section that she personally works, so you are not getting hit up by a half dozen different waitresses every minute looking to make another sale. There are hookahs for rent and smoking is allowed inside.

The inside looks to be about 10,000 square feet and there are two floors. The second floor is like a giant balcony that wraps around the club, overlooking the main stage. The main stage is a runway that starts at a stairway coming down from the second floor and extends out to the bar area. There is a pole at the end. There are several satellite stages around the club. There was a stage rotation of five dancers by midnight. Every song they would rotate to the next stage position. The first position was the base of the stairs. The second position was the pole at the end of the runway. The third position was above the booths on the west side of the club. The fourth position was a pole just off of the bar. The fifth position was above the booths on the east side of the club. Very few patrons tipped the stage. With the luxuriousness of the club, tipping just a single or two would seem like an insult to the dancers, so I think many just refused to tip at all. Once per night, the pink 1967 Corvette that hangs from the ceiling descends onto the stage. Two dancers are called up and do a sapphic spectacle on the hood of the car.

The Flight Club is a 7Up factory with the exception of a couple outliers that somehow got slipped into the line-up. Most of the dancers are Caucasian and blondes it seems. Virtually every dancer could be classified as athletic or slim or fit. The only drawback about having top shelf talent is that some of the dancers have big egos; they act like their shit don’t stink. I counted 25-26 dancers working the night shift.
