What percentage of your income is dedicated to the hobby ?
@Juice - wow, 15%...that could be a ton depending on annual salary. I'm at less than 3%, though I'm certainly willing to go a higher if the right girl(s) and opportunity(ies) present(s) itself/themselves.

A Night of Play at Club Vixens
Nice review. I meant to check out Vixens again when I was in Miami in the middle of November, but I got way sidetracked by a girl at Scarlett's. Sounds like you had a good time at Vixen's, which makes me want to go back again even more the next time I'm in Miami - though the Cute Hot Girl I met at Scarlett's (see my reviews from November 2019) could keep me from going if I'm able to meet up with her again. Darn you, Miami! Why do you keep sucking me into the SC scene? I find myself thinking about how to reroute flights through Miami just to get a little ground time there.

@Doc, no shit. Where were they? I can understand male teachers being labeled as predators, but for female teachers, that's a learning experience! That teacher is just ok. Too bad...I like documentaries too, but I tend to watch them at night, and I fall asleep partway. Usually takes me several viewings before I manage to finish.

    Dancer Names
I knew a dancer whose real name was Lolita (no joke - her mom/parents must not not have heard of Nabokov's infamous novel), and her stage name was Sarah.

Papi, you are a worldly and deep person, despite your hobby (and all of us here) that causes many to think we're all just a bunch of degenerates. I'm going to check it out based on your recommendation. I enjoy PBS as well.

Twentyfive - especially the dancers. I think that many if not most of us TUSCLers likely have family that we can be with today - though too much family has its own issues. A few dancers I know don't have that to enjoy today.

Single-airport single-night mongering destination in North America?
I second Fort Lauderdale. Scarlett's, Cheetah, and Tootsies are clumped close together south of the airport. Pompano clubs may not be close, but renting a car is not expensive. I've rented a car from major rental companies for less than $60/day all in. That's cheaper than a couple of Uber rides. Maybe Dallas. DFW airport has some clubs not that far, but DAL Love Field has you closer to a bunch of clubs like Baby Dolls and Buck's Cabaret (I believe). Again, I've rented cars there for less than $60/day all in. Extras are harder in Dallas dance areas are out in the open, and VIP rooms are not that private. But gotten very good mileage in Dallas clubs and had talked to some girls that were up for OTC, but I didn't partake.

Totally love undressing a dancer. The one handed release thing only works if the girl is wearing a bra with traditional hooks that you can release with a fabric squeeze. If she's wearing a bra that's got thin traps, they have this "S" hook thing where one side of the S is sewn into one side, and the other side of the S is open so you have to insert it into a loop of fabric. I only learned about this when a dancer asked me to help put her back together, and I could figure out the loop thing. She ended up having to put her bra on backwards, insert the S opening into the loop, and then rotate the bra back-to-front. Now I know.

Papi, I agree. They're so short and don't give you a good feel for what the place is like. Reviewers put in the bare minimum to get approved - cover fee, drink prices, dance prices, and then maybe a blurb about what they did with a girl without much details. Many of them don't even do that. Maybe Founder needs to put in like a minimum character length for reviews to be able to submit. But sometimes a short review has good info, like if the place closed, so a minimum length would keep that sort of info from being posted since there's not much to say other than...this place is closed.

If I could have just one thing at a strip club...
I second Denim's wish item. It sucks when you take a girl for a dance and she has no idea where she is in the rotation, and then she gets called to the stage. I've had some good dances interrupted with stage duty.

Anybody know how busy the clubs will be on Thanksgiving?
It probably depend on where you are. I understand that some strippers call the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving Black Wednesday because it's so busy. Apparently, a lot of guys cooped up with family for the holidays need some stress relief before Thanksgiving itself. Thanksgiving Day itself is probably hit or miss.

Good thing you didn't fall for the "will be taken care of" line. There are no extras at Scarlett's, so being "taken care of" will not involve extras. That being said, I really like Scarlett's a lot. And Papi is right. The CR is super expensive at $500/30 min $1000/1 hour.

What was the way you developed your wealth ?
@mark94 - yes, definitely the magic of compound interest. Four+ decades of compound interest is good stuff, even with the ups and downs of the stock market. The best strategy for most is probably "time in the market," rather than "timing the market." Unless you're watching your retirement accounts constantly, you're not going to be able to trade effectively to catch the swings in the market correctly - and even then, you probably won't. Also, a lot of investment advisors aren't worth shit. I tried to do some direct investing outside my 401(k) with an NYC brokerage firm. The advisor was very eager and was watching all sorts of indicators, following news and reports, etc. all the time, but over a 2 year period, I lost over $10k. I eventually unplugged the rest of my money with him, and dumped it back into traditional retirement investment vehicles, where they've been happily earning normal (though not impressive) annual returns.

What was the way you developed your wealth ?
Wealth is relative. One person's comfortable retirement is another person's poverty. I've still got 16 years or so until retirement (knock on wood <knock> <knock> <knock>), but I second what Ishmael and Cashman have said. Hard work, and invest consistently as early as you can. I'm not going to be as flush as as some of the TUSCLers on here, but the retirement calculators say that I'm on track to my goal of having a nest egg in the low seven figures to retire comfortably, i.e., more than $1M but less than $5M. Only time will tell if this will pan out, but it seems do-able. I've invested in my 401(k) since my mid 20's, and maxed out every year since I was in my early 30s. We live below our means, and don't spend extravagantly. Picking the right mate helps - my wife is nearly as frugal as me, and in some ways, even more so. But it's not like we sit around watching over-the-air TV forgoing cable, eat mac and cheese, and keep the temp turned down to 50 in the winter. We buy normal things and indulge occasionally, and stick to a budget. One of my vices is driving nice cars, so that's one of the few areas where splurge, but we drive those things into the ground before thinking of buying a replacement. There is a book called "The Millionaire Next Door" https://www.amazon.com/Millionaire-Next-Door-Surprising-Americas/dp/B0000547HR/ref=sr_1_2?crid=34LI0YYZ9RTN0&keywords=the+millionaire+next+door+book&qid=1574219508&sprefix=the+milli%2Caps%2C178&sr=8-2 that I thought was a really good read. It studied the habits of self-made millionaires, and found that they had a lot in common, such as frugality, living below your means, not spending to keep up with the Joneses. The authors found that typical millionaires were generally small business owners, and teachers were also really good savers. They found that doctors were terrible at saving. I don't remember if they reached this conclusion, but they might have found that attorneys were also bad savers. That's because both of those professions generally had much higher incomes than average, and doctors and lawyers typically wanted to show their success by spending their money on showy things.

What Do You Wish You'd Known As a Baby Stripper?
How about - how to give a lap dance? There are tutorials on the Internet, and even on YouTube, but they aren't really that good as they don't break it down usually. Reya Sunshine does a decent tutorial that's very step-by-step. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4_i9Z8aD5g However, her style (at least in the video) to me is too much contact-release, contact-release. I've gotten dances from baby strippers, and for the most part, they're not that good. They are usually very one dimensional, and can be more bouncy than sensual. Guys like lots of continuous contact and variety - but mainly constant contact. And not contact of the jackhammer variety - that's just for porn.

    My Most Romantic Moment
Reverend, your post (and link) caused me to have a very vivid flashback, and now I'm sad. Many (maybe all) of us have had some sort of relationship in the past that has caused us to have fond memories and maybe even strong regrets. Mine was in my senior year of college when i met a girl while studying abroad over the summer. She was from the US also and was going to college about 200 miles away from where I was. She was involved with a very serious boyfriend back State-side, but we hung out with a group of friends and had great times together. About half way through the program, we became very heavily involved - as in, spending almost every waking (and sleeping) hour together - and promised to see each other back in the US. We only managed to do that a few times, and the distance and our career paths made it too difficult. She eventually moved very far away, and we lost touch. <sigh> I don't know if she was the one that got away, but I certainly have had a lot of "what ifs" cross my mind over the past three-plus decades. I have no regrets about our time together, but I do have occasionally strong regrets about not having tried harder to chase her down. At least I would not have these "what ifs" nagging me, which I suspect will continue until the end of my days.

When you're 16, you pretty much have the mentality of "anything that moves" (unless it's super old and dried up). Stiffler's mom would have qualified at that age. But with more experience and years under your belt - not so much.

@vadxx - Yeah..definitely no extras, but I definitely had fun. I'm going to have to be more judicious in my spending though I think. That level of spending should warrant extras at other places, and probably some OTC fun if it were at a different club. May need to spread my wings and experience what other clubs have to offer for that kind of spending.

Holy crap! (ba dum dum) That's quite a shit story. I'm with Jascoi. I've never seen anything like that either. Dunno if it's because of the type of clubs I like to patronize (mid to upper mid-tier) or that I've been lucky.
