If SJGoof wandered into a forum about ice cream, he'd be arguing with everyone telling them they hold their spoons the wrong way, even though he is too good to foul his own tableware with ice cream.

Trump tapped into a vein of anger in the population. People felt like the elites of both parties had taken their votes and loyalty for granted. The "Trumpers" that I know do not seem to be disappointed with him, yearning for the Republican establishment to take control again.

I am not in a "very high" income range. My AGI was around $70,000 the past few years. But raising the standard deduction, when I was already using it, is an immediate tax reduction.
I am willing to go against the financial advice that I have seen, which says "skip a starter home and go immediately into a family home"
I would argue that most people will not stay in the same place long enough to benefit. You have to pay 23 years on a fat 30 year mortgage just to knock out half of it, and the odds that you will need to move due to family or job reasons is high.
Buy only the minimum house you need, and use a 20 or 15 year mortgage. A young person stands a much better chance in the future of being 50 years old like me, and living free of mortgage payments.
The ability to someday simply pocket the money that used to go to the mortgage and insurance companies, is such an awesome perk to have!

I will certainly come out ahead with the new tax changes. I own my house, so I was already taking the standard deduction. The changes were pitched as being beneficial to renters, who have no mortgage and are less likely to itemize. But it works out well for thrifty people who avoid debt to begin with.

PaulDrake, nothing has changed recently. RickDugan noticed that the rating system is not weighted anymore.
Here is a simple example. A club with one review over the past year. (September 2018) it was rated 6,7,6 which averages out to 6.33 and that is its overall rating. If nobody reviews this club again by September of 2019, it will cease being rated at all.

SJG probably collected trusts from newbies on the forum who don't really know his back story, and keep seeing him pop up again and again.
Maybe trusts should be automatically revoked when the member who offered it, does not log into the forum for a year. That would cut back on the ability of trolls to hang around for years, gradually collecting them.

The forum probably looks mostly abandoned to SJG's eyes. Anybody he blocks plus everyone that has blocked him, reduces the visible threads. And he doesn't have VIP.
All of that leads him to post in any thread that he can find.

The usual gray hair taking over my beard and the sides of my scalp. When I turned 48 I said "women get their hair colored all the time, why make a big deal of it?" - so I began going to a salon for coloring instead of a cheap barbershop.
But it also comes with thinking about stuff I did in my early 20s, feeling Ike it was all recent memory - and realizing the I have lived more time since then, versus the age I was at the time...

I met two fired dancers at Walmart. They did not request ridiculously expensive things. Baby wipes, TV dinners, some work boots.
I have had a dancer ask me to come to the club more often, to help with her with vet bills for her kitten. And I have had dancers ask if I wanted a kitten or puppy because they were trying to give them away.

You might consider a "paying VIP" style badge of honor, though.

I took a break for most of last year. Did not visit any clubs for 9 months - prioritized my spending towards some home renovations, and a bit of regular dating which fizzled out. Some guys are lifestyle mongers, some of us are dabblers.
Remember Doces300? He was full of stories about his Seeking Arrangement liaisons. He started getting sloppy and his wife caught him at it - he shrugged at his failing marriage and claimed his wife was going to separate from him quickly. Odds are that once the divorce lawyers got involved things got much nastier... We have not been hearing from him "how well it all worked out" :-/

I am no lawyer but I don't see how the dealer or the roommate buddy can be a credible witness. In small claims court two sides can throw accusations, and the judge weighs all the lies. This is a criminal question, evidence must be supported. I think in most jurisdictions the DA would not bother with this to trial and look to get a plea or deferred sentence.

The numeric ratings usually track well with the consensus of written reviews. But if someone is visiting another city with many clubs, I think the scores can give some assistance in saving time. A club rated less than 5 is unlikely to be a pleasing experience... But I don't think it is worth quibbling over a few tenths of a point when comparing two clubs.
