Not surprising. Bars are going to be the last things to get to open. Anywhere. But it is good to hear that their cases are not rising after they opened things up.

There is a HUGE difference between saying this is a problem that started in China and saying that Chinese people are bad. It is the Chinese government that we need to focus are anger at. Not Chinese immigrants and surely not each other. The liberals just need to give it a rest and attach the Chinese government.

Yeah, I had heard the number was closer to a half of all deaths also. That is why Florida is way down the list in deaths even with the older population. They locked down those facilities very early and tight.

I gotta get one of those anti-body tests. Although we are still not 100% sure that makes you immune if you have the anti-bodies. I have heard the results of those trials will be out later this month and we should know for sure then.

Yeah, I kinda agree. I'm not sure I want to inject myself when I'm perfectly healthy with something that could make me sick.
The death rate on this Covid thing is less than 0.1% and we mostly know who will be affected. So I am not scared of it at all. If I were 75 years old and 50 lbs overweight, I might have a different attitude though.

Have these guys with these models been anywhere close to being right so far ? First the say 3 million, then 200 thousand, then 80 thousand, then 60 thousand. The governors have been talking about opening up for weeks now. So all of a sudden the models change again up ? Are these guys even aware of what is being discussed out in the world ?
No treatments coming online now should greatly reduce the deaths. Hospitalizations are going down everywhere. I don't think the models have any more credibility any more.

Can't remember TV program I saw this on. But about 3-4 nights ago, I watched an interview with a research firm that was talking about the anti-body tests. They were doing research on the anti-body tests and some medical personnel. They had given the anti body tests to a group of medical people that were working in the Covid units. The ones that tested positive, they were then going to expose them to people with the virus to see if the anti-bodies did indeed give that immunity. They said they would have those results some time in late May.

FYI. I get on a plane tomorrow for the first time in a couple of months. I'm interested to see how many people will be on this plane at the same time or even how many are in the airport. I have my mask ready.

A month ago, all they were testing were people with severe symptoms. Now anyone can get a test. And we have recently learned from the anti-body tests that a LOT of people dont' have symptoms. So yes, the Cases numbers are going to up. Deaths are what I care about. But the Hospitalizations will be the best indicator from now on.
