Any place that interests me.
I’m not fussy. Joop, Polo, or even Express perfume (yes they sell it, usually I get it as a gift) works for me. Gals in VIP will sniff me, remark how nice I smell, and a couple have been known unbutton my shirt and lick my chest. As long as your perfume doesn’t smell like raw cabbage you should be fine.

Great story. But pardon my ignorance, are young gals in real life that standoffish these days that an average young college guy can’t even talk to a 6.5 or 7 in real life? I prefer not to subscribe to the Roosh V view of the world (mostly because he’s an anti-Semitic, Western-society-despising, woman-hater), but you wonder. In the early 1980s, even I could find gals to date and I was pretty much a Bernard Goetz or David Berkowitz-looking guy. A gal who is a 9, I can definitely understand. I was indeed lucky to date 7’s in my day.

Mark94, yes I did FKK in Munich in the late 2000s and it is a totally different experience. Lots of “talent” from Eastern Europe, solid 7’s, not really memorable gals but good service. Almost culturally impossible to transfer outside Germany though. I am amazed it’s survived even this long.

JAprufrock, in 2013 apparently the conservative Harper government, ironically in line with fairly strong feminist groups, were concerned about human trafficking, but did not want to criminalize women. So they tightened up the prostitution law, which essentially bans “public” activities. The so-called Montréal “red light” district on Rue Ste-Catherine is thus in name only. In short, it is not illegal to sell P4P services but it is illegal to buy them. However, internet or phone convos are not considered “public”. Nor if you and the girl were having a discussion over coffee at Le Cafe Starbuck’s. Apparently the strip clubs are another story though I don’t doubt that OTC may be arranged with girls working in more “local” clubs.

Sinclair, I’m living in a district where we have a female transgender running for state delegate. At one time I would have thought LGBTQ politicians would actually loosen things up but I’m suspecting the “victimhood” card is being played and anyone who is male (hetero, or now thanks to Kevin Spacey, even gay) is walking around with a political bullseye on their head. I never thought I was “red pill” material but I’m seriously wondering about that now.

If you stay downtown you can walk or take metro or bus to much of the City, though the more-loosely regulated clubs in Laval are further out and French is a must there. Taxis and Uber are C$5-10 within the center of the city depending on where you’re going. Winter’s a bit more dicey in terms of accessibility.

C$1 = US$0.78. So the exchange rate works out for Americans. So C$220 works out to about US$175, which is less than what I was paying in Dubai a few years ago for similar services which did not include DFK or anything other than basic in-out and CBJ.

Just posted an article about the scene in Montreal. A lot to be said for just decriminalizing prostitution so it doesn’t become this whole big shit show.

I'm amazed I missed this article and thread, but I'm glad I finally saw it. Nearly any PL will benefit from the wisdom here. One thing I will mention is each region or town has its anomalies. Many Baltimore clubs have their "tip walks" or "tip crawls" where it is literally expected you give the girl a buck. I'll of course tip at the stage (if it is not stationed somewhere in the middle of the bar) if the gal is particularly cute and if she removes her top and (where allowed) bottom and I like what I see.
I will add that the best regular gals will continue to let you "explore" and will give you more of her time as she knows she will get something from you as opposed to some random punter. But some gals will definitely take you for granted if you become "too" regular. I find seeing a gal once every few months is best. My best encounters are to a club in Raleigh I visit once a year where I see a dancer who was a favorite from Baltimore (she pops up in Baltimore once a year too). The club has its "overmanagement" issues with bouncers and lap dance rules, but my gal gives me companionship and fun conversation at dinner and a superb VIP room experience despite the annoying bouncers/managers. As much as I might want "more" from that girl (OTC, more time, etc) relying on that one regular girl and one club will keep you from enjoying other experiences. Especially as a lot of us travel around the country, variety is good, and there is nothing wrong with having a different "regular" in different places you go.

YMMV, and your dollar may vary too. I think floor dances and "sample laps" are becoming more rare in general. My thoughts on why that is are below. Yes, there are clubs in Virginia that indeed charge $65 for a lap dance with a girl wearing pasties (paid upfront to a cashier or bartender yet). Dollar-a-minute seems to be the rule in the East and increasingly the South; the Midwest and SW almost seem like throw-back land, and California seems schizophrenic depending on what town you're in. It's about the girls, yeah. But when you have clubs that seem to have way too many "employees" other than the dancers, the bartenders, the DJ, the cook, and the waitresses, that is immediate buzzkill. And when clubs start papering their premises with Floor Police, Couch Police, and Naughty Stage-Tipping Police (as I experienced recently at a club where I had been a longtime regular), you see fewer and fewer girls willing to (or feeling they even need to) give you a taste of pleasure on the floor. When girls you've tipped greet you with only handshakes or furtive shoulder brushes (all while they spend hours with some guy or group of guys at a table), try a different club.

I wandered onto SA a year ago and bagged it after a couple months. What I thought was interesting is you get some of the same gals on Tinder. After a while I just decided SC and OTC would get me more of the action I wanted, which has nothing to do with keeping a college gal in Louboutins. I don't even call it SD or SB. There are a large number of escorts on there. If you are going to do this, agree with the idea of keeping your profile private and just pick those you find interesting.

I think there's a definite consensus here (and thank you all for reading into this). I think there's also the unwritten part of this, which is I spent the better part of a decade away from strip clubs (pretty much from 2001 to 2012) and instead, when traveling to places like Dubai, partaking of the "businesswomen" in hotel bars/discos, a core part of the nightlife scene, at least until recently when all the young starlets and millennial tons started flooding in. Most of the gals were Russian or from the former Soviet satellites (usually Kyrgyzstan, Belarus or Ukraine), in later years more gals were from China. So I've had plenty of takeout, For the most part you (as a westerner) could easily bring them back to your hotel (or apartment), as once the doors are closed, there's nothing for the LE to see. I rarely paid more than $270 (sometimes way less) for several hours (or overnight) companionship. Some of the gals were spectacular, others were average, but my muscle got some milkshake action for several years, that's for sure. International travel did have its perks. And occasionally I'd take the same girl multiple times or outcall them, meeting em at malls, Starbucks, etc.....and lived to tell about it. So thinking about it, this just all seems like such a f**ed up way of playing around. God bless Amurrica.

I could just as easily call her "Ms Regular" as well as ATF. For the record I have another ATF, who happens to be friends with the first ATF as they both danced at the same club at one time and I was a regular at that club, often being with both of them including the unusual step taking a glorious 2 for 1 with them in the 30 min room. Imagine simultaneous DFK and stick shifting being provided to you while having a handful of boobs from one girl and a handful of butt from the other girl, and you can see where that goes. :D The other ATF now lives in NC and I saw her at her club last time I visited there a year ago. Then I saw both of them together back at the first ATF's club up here in Mid-Atlantica about 4 months ago and it was brilliant but also crazy expensive.
If anything, OTC costs less if you can do it and maintain both the sexiness and the GFE with no strings attached. But I guess my lesson here is with time, if you keep up the regularity, you end up with more GF and less E.

I write it like I mean it, but mostly they just want my money.
Lap dances are not the only transactions at many if not most clubs. Except for Mons Venus, which has effectively commoditized the $20 LD (and arguably many of the Deja Vu clubs in CA), most other clubs offer other means of separating you from your money. Cover charges, mandatory $20 dancer drinks, the typical $10/min VIP room (15 min, 30 min or 60 min), and even food and alcohol are other opportunities, although I have encountered a number of places which make the drinks a good value (especially places like Columbus) and others which do pretty well with the food. Keep in mind that some clubs take more from the gals proceeds than others, especially with rooms. Anyplace where the club takes over 50% from the revenue of the VIP room, and the gal may not see its value compared to just giving 30 min of lap dances where she can keep more of the money. I've also gone to plenty of clubs where there are attractive gals but they make no effort to sell a lap or private room because they wind up giving almost all of it back to the club, and they get more money from guys making it rain on stage.

First time I've seen ELP on any strip club play list - Karn Evil 9 is a good one. Interestingly, finding little or no old school R & B on here. I saw a gal the other night dancing to old (think early 70s) sex songs like "Let's Do It Again" by Marvin Gaye on the stage - far sexier than the usual genetic 80s metal and gangbanger rap. Plus where is "Glory Hole"??

On A Booty Hunt
I'm assembling an article on "too much information", which I'm now finding kind of takes off from what you have here, which by the way, is fabulously written. My lesson/conundrum is that once you have a regular (or decide you want someone to be your regular), some (maybe not all) of the act goes away, though much of the stripper shite may still be there, whether through habit, circumstance, or self-protection. The question is, do you want the act to go away? I for one don't. It's that very act of flirting, letting you touch her while she grinds, cuddles, and messes you up, that I seek, whether it's an old favorite or a brand new gal who is auditioning to be your regular. Suddenly if she finds it no fun to do it to you, you might as well call her your wife and it's time to move on.

Everything written by this member is a fact.
When I was at Deja Vu in North Hollywood, they had these videos of dancers on the back screens and kept showing raining dollar bills on the stage, like that was expected. Maybe in Vegas it is, The reality was few guys tipped the night I was there. But I was just in Columbus, and a guy in Cargo Pants just emptied his dollar wads on a hot blonde (who would perch next to him for the couple hours I was there but no private dances occurred). Maybe his way of staking his claim. When you see the whole "making it rain" thing, most of the guys with their $1 or $2 or $3 don't even want to bother. I think it's just a stupid practice, myself. In the end, the guy who does that probably doesn't get any laps, which would actually earn the girl some real money.

Great read @doctorevil. Over 25 years of mongering, I've had one OTC with a long-time ATF (last year) , who while lapping me in the 30-min private cabana at her club whispered I could have her OTC for the price of the cabana if I were staying in the area near the new club she was working during the week. Sure enough, a short time later, I texted her, we agreed to the deal, I stayed one night near the new club, and she came down after her night shift. We were together all night, showered together, played around in bed, slept, ate breakfast, and she had to go home to her dog and pick up the kids at her ex-husband's, etc etc. Given the literally several dozen hookers I managed to bed in every position while working in Dubai in the 2000's (for the same or less money, though generally for less time), I can definitely say my ATF from the strip club did not do a hooker experience. She provided a nice GFE (just like she did in the club but more relaxed) but wouldn't do straight in-out. Certainly for the price I usually pay for the cabana, my money indeed went farther in terms of time and attention, but it wasn't "let's fuck". I haven't done OTC with her since, but still see her every couple months or so at her club and she still gives me by the far the best, boundary-pushing, lap dances of any gal in any SC and a still intense GFE.
Bottom line that I would add to the article's conclusions is there is no guarantee that hot stripper you've known for a while who comes to your hotel room is going to magically turn into a hooker.

Appreciate a dancer post, never hurts to know what they're thinking. Personally, I prefer to pay after, but many clubs do require upfront for rooms, especially if the house has to take their share. If the girl does well for the guy in the room, a little extra at the end is fine.
My real pet peeve is gals ruining themselves with too many tats and face piercings. Although some (including one of my ATF's) do just enough to be interesting, other gals who may otherwise be 8-8.5 will suddenly pull off the dress and their entire pelvis and buttocks are covered with giant tats. Others will cover their entire arms, upper body, etc. Others will have piercings ALL OVER their face. Many have all of the above. I'm sure somebody likes stuff like that, just not most people. I'd love to ask "what are these gals thinking"? I know there's plenty of tat/biker/hipster culture (which has gotten way larger the last 10 years or so) even far from the strip club world. Kids destroy themselves in high school or college or whenever, and don't think about what they look like when it becomes time to get a job in a bank or engineering firm, though maybe the idea of not ever working in "normal business" may well be the whole point for some. Working in a strip club, tats/piercings-for-life becomes less of an issue, I suppose.
