Montreal Escorts vs. USA Strip Clubs

Avatar for Roadworrier

Making my first “real” visit to Montreal, QC over the period of the last week, a few things struck me about the ridiculousness of our hobby.

  1. When sexual pursuits as a business are decriminalized, SC’s essentially become redundant (or as in Tijuana, they become a hell of a lot more fun).

  2. in Montreal, one hour with an escort in your hotel, typically C$220, is perhaps 50-100% less than a half-hour in a US strip club 30-min VIP room (depending on the club and geography). And most of the time you can do a hell of a lot more.

  3. Women are friendlier. In too many US Strip clubs the better looking gals think they are doing you a favor by providing you a private dance that you’re paying them for. A lot of it is due to clubs taking big cuts, admittedly.

  4. No bouncers or door goons in your hotel room. Montreal is as bad as anyplace with door goons, bathroom goons, and both entrance and lap dance area cashiers. 5 loonies here and there add up. All that said, it still adds up to less than US clubs.

  5. Because SC’s in Montreal (and probably Yoronto) compete with agencies and independent service providers, lap dances are cheaper, even if some of the conservative mayors have ruined the atmospheres with regulations on what you can touch, eliminating the grind, etc.

  6. I experienced a good SC in Montreal with excellent looking gals who wee friendly but who offered tepid dances. I experienced a gal from one of the escort services a few nights later, 19 or 20, fantastic tight body, fresh faced from Nova Scotia, blonde spinner with a pretty face, natural 34B rack, and eager to please. I can’t help but think if the US loosened up and deep-sixed the doddering faux Christian politicians (who likely get some tasty treats in otherwise unfriendly Washington that most non-connected schmucks might not have access to), we’d all be better off.

Back to the US. Going to the clubs in Baltimore and Sacramento and other places won’t quite be the same for me now.

Amen, I hope to be experiencing such places myself. Good insights.

Good insight. I went to Toronto in August and had a great experience at Allure (massage place) and have considered Montreal as future destination.

I've researched this online but haven't come across a concrete answer: Is prostitution legal in Canada? Seems to be some gray areas. I know it's not legal to solicit on the street but, based on your report, seems to be legal in clubs and in-call escorts? Can you shed some light on this?

I don't know how much a CD is compared to USD, but i don't think it's 50 to 100% more. Most half hour VIPs are under 300 USD. But reading Darkblue999's discussion on a Maryland club sounded like a waste of money ($30 for a single bikini dance with low contact?), especially compared to certain Canadian options (or Mexican or German).

I don't know how long it will take for the US to catch up (or fall back) to the rest of the world, but i don't see it happening anytime soon yet. Just too many ignoramuses that gladly support these rip off clubs and the girls that work there.

C$1 = US$0.78. So the exchange rate works out for Americans. So C$220 works out to about US$175, which is less than what I was paying in Dubai a few years ago for similar services which did not include DFK or anything other than basic in-out and CBJ.

With feminism as rampant as ever in the US, you are not going to get legal prostitution in America. Just look at what happened in Iceland. A lesbian feminist got elected prime minister in 2009. Almost overnight, every strip club was ordered to close and prostitution became illegal.

As sinclair said, it's not just Christian values that keeps prostitution illegal in the USA. The majority of feminists wouldn't want it either.

If you stay downtown you can walk or take metro or bus to much of the City, though the more-loosely regulated clubs in Laval are further out and French is a must there. Taxis and Uber are C$5-10 within the center of the city depending on where you’re going. Winter’s a bit more dicey in terms of accessibility.

Sinclair, I’m living in a district where we have a female transgender running for state delegate. At one time I would have thought LGBTQ politicians would actually loosen things up but I’m suspecting the “victimhood” card is being played and anyone who is male (hetero, or now thanks to Kevin Spacey, even gay) is walking around with a political bullseye on their head. I never thought I was “red pill” material but I’m seriously wondering about that now.

From a pure value standpoint, the FKKs in Germany are better than Montreal unless, as someone mentioned, you live close to Montreal. FKKs have the selection of a SC with half hour sessions around $80. Airfare to Frankfurt not much more than Montreal.

JAprufrock, in 2013 apparently the conservative Harper government, ironically in line with fairly strong feminist groups, were concerned about human trafficking, but did not want to criminalize women. So they tightened up the prostitution law, which essentially bans “public” activities. The so-called Montréal “red light” district on Rue Ste-Catherine is thus in name only. In short, it is not illegal to sell P4P services but it is illegal to buy them. However, internet or phone convos are not considered “public”. Nor if you and the girl were having a discussion over coffee at Le Cafe Starbuck’s. Apparently the strip clubs are another story though I don’t doubt that OTC may be arranged with girls working in more “local” clubs.

Mark94, yes I did FKK in Munich in the late 2000s and it is a totally different experience. Lots of “talent” from Eastern Europe, solid 7’s, not really memorable gals but good service. Almost culturally impossible to transfer outside Germany though. I am amazed it’s survived even this long.

Yeah - the US is in the dark-ages w.r.t. P4P - and w/ what millennials are being taught in left-wing universities these days IMO there's reason to believe there may be more anti-P4P views going-forward, especially w/ all the human-trafficking hysteria making people think/implying as if every provider in the oldest profession in the world was doing it b/c she was forced to by traffickers.

In most places in the US they don't want/tolerate any SCs, and many other places in the US a simple grind is a criminal act (e.g. air-dances only) - we are wayyyy behind
