Glory Box: Stripper Song Memories
Steve, at Millstream I used to see Chelsea (now in NC) actually sing along to tunes and occasionally lip sync on stage. Usually rock tunes. She still likes classic rock and blues. Always cool.

Strip Clubs after 40
Sclvr, yep, witness all those "Seeking Arrangement" type websites. Though plenty of strippers go for the sugar daddy-sugar baby thing too. Just be wary.

Strip Clubs after 40
Go for it, if you've got the cash. Just don't go in with the intent to meet your future wife. All that said, I'm in my 50s and get better treatment for the most part than I ever did when I was in my 30s, which were my last big SC-going era. Admittedly I dress better (and perhaps "richer") now and have less of the "green slime" on me than when I first started going and thinking then that maybe there would be a connection of some kind and I could leave my wife or something. And the irony is that I get more dinner and OTC propositions now (at least a third of the visits I make) than I ever did when I was younger. The first thing that comes to the girl's mind is (and has to be) money. They will approach the guy who looks like he has it or invests in taking care of himself. That said, there are plenty of gals with tats and with attitudes that make them more st home with the hoods. If you go to a particular club enough, you'll see who they are and also the "types" they hang with. One girl I remember almost always hung out with old guys for 2 hours and then young douchey college guys the rest of the night. Other gals will find something in everybody they see - they are more "the pros". A lot of gals don't have that confidence or interest.

OTC with Strippers: the Caviar of the Sex Industry
For strippers, the OTC overnight roughly equalling 30 min in a VIP room is worth it on an off-night, because first of all, she keeps the money doesn't have to kick back half or more of it to the club. There is no guarantee she's going to open the cookie jar either, though. In my case, it was just a gal coming by my hotel after her shift up the street at the club, she wanted a shower (which we took together), some spooning and some sleep, and then in the morning she felt good enough for some playtime. Over time, it became clear she wanted a sugar daddy to help with lighting for her webcam studio in her house (the webcam thing raises a flag for me), as well as a guy who could come fix things or pay for repairs, etc. With all the $$ I'd given to her thru lap dances over the last couple years, plus OTC, then wanting me for sugar daddy duty (given I already have a needy wife with lots of expenses), I realized that wasn't terribly appealing to me. To the point now where i haven't gone to see her anymore even when I've had the opportunity to do so. Sometimes too much of a good thing becomes too much, period.

An Unexpected First: Kissing. Lucky, statistical guarantee, or Does the System Work?
If you wear that polyester suit, for max effect (remember it's probably wash and dry) you could try it with silk underwear or no underwear... ;)

Girls who do serious LD's prefer button downs and pants that aren't jeans.

Strip Clubs, Why I Go, What I Have Learned
Impala's story seems a really universal story. It encourages others to tell theirs, so well done! I guess being philosophical is what keeps things in perspective. As for me, I didn't go to strip clubs till I was living in LA (late 20s) going to my cousins bachelor party and then my own in North Hollywood. I didn't partake of clubs till my early 30's (business trips to South FL) but when there were rough spots in my relationship or when my wife was back visiting her family back east (or being hospitalized for her eating disorder), I began going on my own for the first time. In Orange County, CA in the 90s, you had a number of clubs like Mr J's and Captain Cream's with shockingly gorgeous gals (9's and up were not an exaggeration) but mostly air dances, or nude clubs with gals who were 6's-8's but they gave nasty lap dances, bed dances, and maybe some other stuff if you got lucky. I made a few trips to Houston and SFO, posted reviews to the alt.sex.strip-clubs Internet newsgroup (remember those??), and when I moved to the East Coast, essentially left that life behind except during my occasional business trips. But then I commuted to Dubai and Abu Dhabi off and on for close to a decade, and strip clubs of course are nothing when you can go to a hotel bar and find top Russian gals for overnight for $150-300 (closer to $300 and up these days). Probably 35-40 girls over the 10 years (with condom), some repeats, lots of gals from Russia and the former Soviet Union, Hong Kong, China, and yes an occasional African. Which makes today's strip club scene back here in the US somewhat of a money scam in my opinion ($300 for a half hour of lap dances in a strip club when you could go the distance and wake up with a babe for the same price in Dubai). But the last couple years here in the mid-Atlantic area where I live, I've been partaking mainly of the Baltimore scene with some visits to the West Coast, FL and elsewhere. This time though, I focus on those who are my favorites and over time it's gotten me much farther than if I was sampling around. Having regulars has its own challenges (especially when one actually suggests outside the club so she can keep the money instead of sharing with the club). But so it goes.

Public Transportation To Clubs Actual User Experiences
No mentioning of Uber here, I notice. Could it be because they email your trip info and receipts? Possibly, but that's what the delete button is there for. Since the clubs I go to have parking (or nearby pay parking), the issue of getting there has not been an issue. Vegas clubs of course want you to use their limo-buses if you want to save on the cover charges (you get stuck with taxis for the ride home but I've done OK with them before). NY clubs are of course transit / taxi only unless you're a douchebag.

10 Rules for the Strip Club Customer
Rule #11 - Learn to figure out which gals are supporting a drug habit (or are strung out). If you are a repeat clubgoer, you'll figure it out quickly. Stay away from them. They will want more and put out less.

History of Strip Club Guides, Part 2: Wired In with the World Wide Web
There is an important missing piece in this otherwise excellent article. Back before the Web became a thing (1993 was when I first got AOL), interests were covered through a variety of USENET forums, accessible through some form of news reader which could also post the info through emailed digests. I recall AOL had a news reader function. Specifically, "alt.sex.strip-clubs" (or ASS-C) was the SC forum, containing club reviews from all over the country, with much of the reviewing focused on the LA area, SFO, and Houston. But there would be some Salt Lake City reviews (yes there were a couple clubs there!) and DC as well. A few dancers would actually post too. Living in Orange County after 1993, it was how I found out about the City of Industry and Anaheim nude clubs, so I wasn't relying on word-of-mouth about tame OC places like Captain Cream's and Mr. J's (which nevertheless boasted lots of 8's-10's) ASS-C is where Z-Bone got his start. There were some other fabulous reviewers like Saxbeat and some really intelligent writing about clubs, dancers, and life itself. Reviews about highly recommended dancers, which clubs / girls provided air dances, and various readers' "fail to suck days" were a great read, and evoked a dark but wonderful culture that one might have felt but not actually seen. Some of the group members would get together in particular clubs (usually in SoCal or NoCal) with high-mileage lap dances. I think the heyday of the site was probably the mid-to-late 90's, with many of the forums accessible through readers on the early Netscape browsers (remember those??). Z-Bone's site was an outgrowth of the ASS-C forum which finally took advantage of the web's capabilities, as was, I suspect, TUSCL. Thought I'd share, since ASS-C was how I found and shared information in the 90's about our little mongering hobby.
