Expense Account
While visiting Detroit in 1988 for a conference, I was furthering a new business relationship with an attorney who was the Assistant General Counsel for Ford Motor Company. He took me and my second-in-command (a woman) out to dinner. Don't ask me how or why, but seemingly out of nowhere, the subject of table dancing came up. The next thing we knew, he paid the bill and drove us across the river to a club in Windsor, Ontario. The place was packed with customers and dozens of beautiful women who for $5.00 would perform dances at your table, totally nude. As far as I could tell, this was all that this club was about -- no stage, no lap dance room, and no VIP. There was no contact with these dances, but the visuals were both delightful and absolutely as explicit as you can imagine as girl after girl stopped and performed at our table. Ford Motor Company paid for everything. Mad props to my female coworker, who had never seen anything like this and took the whole thing in stride. For me, after this outing the slogan "Ford Has a Better Idea" took on a whole new meaning.

National Harbor MD… need some advice
Regarding Richmond clubs, I haven't ever been but I keep up with the reviews here on TUSCL because I travel up and down the East Coast a lot. From what I've read, dances in the Richmond clubs are very low mileage and extraordinarily expensive, and extras are pretty much non-existent. I don't think there's anywhere in the whole Commonwealth of Virgina that would be worth the drive from Baltimore.

Stop work order
FWIW, this is info I got from a dancer when I made a brief stop there the Saturday before last on my way out of town. Just in conversation, she brought up the stop work orders, which I hadn’t even noticed, saying that the past owners had liens on the place that the new owners have not yet been able to remove. She said the air conditioning needed some major repair work, but because of the stop work orders, nothing has been done. She and I went to the VIP, and it was really hot. In more ways than one.

TJ this Monday 7/1 -7/3 - + a few Qs
^ Excellent tip from RonJax2. This is good advice for just about any busy club with lots of girls working. I do it every time I go to TJ. I used to do this all the time in Follies in Atlanta (RIP), which was always packed. I did it Vivide in Atlanta last week and found a girl to take to VIP that I might not have met otherwise. When in TJ, ABC -- Always Be Circulating.

spend too much on dancers 🤯
Who here goes to strip clubs and stay sober?
My drink of choice in a SC is bottled water. I gave up drinking alcohol more than 30 years ago, but not because I had any problems with it. I just never liked it -- not the taste of it, not the effects, and not the empty calories adding to my middle-age spread. I just thought, "Then why am doing this?" Now I spend all my money on LDs and extras and never have to worry about driving drunk or getting scammed into using my credit card to buy that grossly-overpriced bottle of champagne just to have a chance to touch some girl's boobs. That seems like a pretty good trade off to me, but to each his own.

Kind of a Meh Visit
Studmuffin69, I am not an expert on the Akron clubs, but Lusty's TUSCL entry says "They had a fire, May 2024" and are reported closed. I believe this was not their first fire. I drove by there, and whatever the building was that was next door showed significant fire damage. As for Lusty's, I don't know what their damage was, but they were not open late on a Wednesday afternoon.

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
Party's over?
shadowcat is right in everything he said (of course), but as a 20-year patron of Follies, I would add that in general, the seating in Vivide doesn't provide the kind of dark nooks and crannies that Follies had, where pretty much anything was possible out on the floor. That said, the HM-to-VHM never-more-than-$10 nude dances at Vivide are still probably the best value in the U.S. As someone who likes extras, Vivide is certainly a destination for me, especially when you add the decently indecent VIP opportunities (if you get my drift). Not sure I'd come all the way across the country for it, but as an East Coaster, if I'm traveling through the southeast I always try to make a stop here.

The O Atlanta, Grand Opening June 21
I posted a detailed review last weekend after a recent brief weekday afternoon visit. It was really slow, but I think it has potential. I like extras, and the VIP is well set up for that. Just like Vivide, when they first opened as a so-called "daytime Follies" type of place, I think The O Atlanta will take a while to catch on. Like the OP, I certainly want them to do well.

Quick Scouting Visit and a Long, Detailed Report
Yes, I could see the camera she pointed out, but, of course, I could not tell if it was working (or if it was working, whether it was being monitored). FWIW, I did not see a red light like there is with some cameras when they're on.

Jascoi, the $200 VIP fee for the dancer (or whatever you can negotiate) is considered all-inclusive. Of course, customers are free to add to that as they see fit. PAWG_Patrol, the reason I didn't describe the dancers (nor name the day of the week) is that I wanted to add specifics about what went down in the VIP and there were so few girls working, I thought it might be too easy to identify who I went with. I definitely didn't want to get anyone in trouble. Of the girls I saw, they were mostly Caucasian and one or two AAs. Thanks for the up-vote, though. I appreciate it.

Bartender/Dancers
I agree that it's uncommon, but it does happen. Just yesterday afternoon when passing through Jacksonville, Florida, I stopped at Sinsations -- no hole in the wall -- and the bartender there went to the VIP with a couple of different customers. I've done that there with other bartenders. I think it's less likely to happen at Sinsations if it's busy, but it's definitely a "thing" there. There is also a sign behind the bar that says for a $5.00 tip, the bartender will go topless. That happened yesterday, too.

What pants do you wear if you get a lot of LDs?
^^^ "Normal casual pants with the "trick" fly that I can easily open without using the zipper." Wait, what? WiseToo, can you explain that?
