1am is apparently still too early
This club was formerly Wise Guys, and the signage out front still mentions that as well as the new Dreams Cabaret name. It's just down the street from C-Mowe's, and a short drive from the highway intersection with Hustler and Kitty's. All are maybe ten minutes from downtown St. Louis.
There's a large fenced-in gravel parking lot, with no fee. On the way in there was a pat down and a $10 cover. Inside the place hasn't changed much since it was Wise Guys. It's one big rectangular room with a couple of stages in the middle, a small bar on one end, and some seats on the walls. The seating around the perimeter seemed different, with a number of U-shaped benches around low tables, somewhat reminiscent of Vivide in Atlanta.
A bottle of water at the bar was $6. I arrived around 1am on a Friday and the place was pretty dead. There were a handful of dancers hanging around, and a few people that might have been customers or maybe other people working the club. There was nothing going on, no stage dancing, etc.. The music, however, was still very loud, though not quite intolerable.
