I agree with @JamesSD -- the first thing I saw was her fucked up lips -- clearly surgically enhanced to be abnormal and gross looking. Thinking Donnatella Versace lips.

Want to check out TJ clubs but no passport. Doable?
it is my understanding that a passport book gets stamped making it easy for anyone that opens it (wife, gf) to see that you were in Mexico. I believe the passport card provides you casual secrecy, if that is a concern, as there is nothing to stamp.. I imagine the card is scanned, so there is a government record of your departure and arrival, though. Perhaps someone that has used both can confirm.

13 killed, 52 wounded in Chicago over Labor Day weekend.....
Go back and reread the statistics cited by @Che. If remotely close to accurate, one could argue that the SF QB is focusing on the wrong issue. I would think the more prevalent issue would be to protest black on black crime without effective police intervention/prevention. Instead, when a white cop shoots a black gangbanger, the media demands an investigation into whether the shooting was justified. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. I agree, investigate! My point is, where is the media outrage over the lack of a solution when 13 are killed in a Chicago weekend (0 by cops). Try to walk a mile in a cop's shoes where everyone is armed and it is exceedingly difficult to tell the bad guys from the good guys with only a split second to decide between life or death. After you're done overthrowing receivers, put on a badge and show us you can do better, punky QB.

13 killed, 52 wounded in Chicago over Labor Day weekend.....
Every year for 20+ years, some heinous accidental murder of a child or a minor celebrity or relative of a celebrity occurs in Chicago. There is much hand wringing. "Oh when will this end? -- surely we will rise up and end violence!," they say. Father PFuckup marches and gives speeches. There are peace marches by mothers and other ministers. Then the cameras go away and the shooting resumes. As long as the bad guys can make a better living doing illegal shit (and feel the need to drive-by shoot to protect their turfs), if will not change. It can only be contained. At least, back in the day, the cops would crack heads if the bad guys tried to expand their territory. Now, Chiraq is lawlessness. Somebody needs to explain to me why the electorate in Chiraq keeps the Democrats in power for 40+ years -- it is never getting better under their leadership -- why the fear to try something new? Is there a chance Trump is correct on this point???

Due to BLM and the firing of Chicago's Chief of Police, the rank and file street cops are afraid to act as cops for fear that they will be the next sacrificial lamb. The bad guys know it and it has degenerated into the wild, wild west on the south and west sides. Once again, the law of unintended consequences.

@Londonguy -- I might take that wager. US Men's Soccer can't even qualify for the Olympics. Until an entirely new generation of leadership takes over with a completely different mindset, I am afraid USA is not going to compete on the world stage. Currently, US leadership still thinks bigger is better (ever heard of Messi, American dumbasses?). US Youth Soccer from age 8 to 18 is fixated on winning, not developing. That is why big kids get promoted and small kids quit and play Pokémon.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand why somebody would retreat into their archives and bump this thread repeatedly since December 9, 2015 This is masturbation. This is why people get so annoyed with SJG. While he may have something of value to say at times, this drivel is ignore-worthy. His ignoring the fact that he is conversing with himself for nearly a year suggests mild derangement, at the least.

Solo said aloud to the media what is often said in private when an overmatched opponent parks the bus in front of their goal and sneaks away with a 1-0 victory. It is garbage soccer that is surprisingly successful against powerful opponents. I agree with jack -- it is not like she lied or took PEDs. Punishment way too severe for incident itself. I suspect this outburst was a convenient way to shit-can a historically problematic yet highly effective aging athlete late in her career. We put up with their shit while we think they can help us win and then cast them in the trash heap when we are done with them. It is the American way, with considerable precedent in male professional sports. I call chicken-shit" on US Soccer. Oh yeah, since this is TUSCL -- don't fuck crazy! She crazy!!

Obviously number 1. Then pet your unicorn and shine your pot o gold. The point is -- I am not convinced she exists. If you reach middle age or beyond and have a wife that " is very attractive for her age, is a sexual freak who will try hard to meet your every sexual need and desire, and is fun, pleasant, and not a bitch" then hit your knees every night and every morning. Oh yeah, and pet that unicorn for me.

Top 100 clubs
IMO, the review scores and national rankings are fairly useless (with the possible exception of the value ranking). They're too easily manipulated with a small sample size. They're useless comparing unique geographic regions. However, reading the narrative of a series of reviews for an area or a club I might be considering visiting is enlightening -- even desertscrub's often accurate (but occasionally inaccurate) "club ad" admonitions. I hope he continues flagging, even if sometimes off. Like others, I also consider the number of reviews written by a given reviewer in decided whether to accept or question the reviewers opinions -- especially if the remarks appear out of the "normal" range. Generally, the reviews do an excellent job of describing my likely future experiences. Thanks, TUSCL mongers!

Voter ID?
So let me get this right -- since there have been no busts for voter fraud, it assures that voter fraud has never happened? Riiiiiiiight!?!? And OJ didn't kill Nicole Brown Simpson or Ron Goldman, right??? Because 12 idiots said he didn't, right? Reverse logic is not a proof. How the hell could anyone know DEFINITIVELY if voter fraud is vastly over estimated -- vastly? The FACT is, none of us can know the truth, factually. Some suspect there has never been voter fraud. Some suspect it has happened early and often and everywhere. The only logic conclusion we must reach is a system which assures everyone legally positioned to vote be given unencumbered opportunity to do so AND assures that NO ONE have the ability to cast MORE THAN one and one one vote. I see no possible way to assure both goals be reached without requiring some form of unique identification be presented at the time of voting. There is a free form of identification that is nearly impossible to be falsified and is unique to every person on the planet -- a fingerprint. Watch the conspiracy theory, X_Files lefties go crazy at that suggestion.

[OT] The Stock Market and the Economy
@Random: I agree with some of your points. Income inequality is an issue that needs to be addressed. Today, too many people are working poor and way too many "middle class" income earners cannot live a comfortable middle class existence. While I consider myself middle class, as were my parents, my parents died with little more than the home they lived in and I am struggling to pay my bills month to month. College costs are outrageously high. The Expected Family Contribution (EFC) formula is bullshit. State supported public universities should be compelled to cover a meaningful share of the uncovered EFC. What does it say about us that elite universities will cover 100% of unmet EFC but state schools won't touch it?? Local, state and federal taxes are too high. Government is bloated. There should be fewer barriers to business creation so that smart entrepreneurial poor folks can lift themselves through hard work and ingenuity through the middle class to wealth. Succinctly, I'm more objecting to SJGs idea that we should aspire to live in a society with no "winners and losers". As Alec Baldwin said in Glengarry Glen Ross, "Follow my advice and fire your fucking ass because a loser is a loser."

Dom -- nope -- you get it if you bust your ass produce more you should receive more reward. Simple. The reward button IS broken in this country -- that is why participation trophies in youth sports are the symptom to a much bigger disease. The disease is the idea that everyone should "feel good" all the time. My kid was part of a tug of war competition last spring at elementary school. Parents came to watch. After the last match ended, everyone was declared the winner and everyone got a medal. WTF??
