Keeping in mind that I don't OTC with random strippers, she is AT LEAST a CF if I'm OTC with her -- I always suggest upscale restaurants, and they are often appreciative and like kids in a candy store over it. It just sets a tone that I enjoy for the rest of the night.

I shoudl also say, super simple recipes where it's incredibly easy to make, or it's likely they already have a mix ready (e.g., Ish's vodka sour) works too. Basically, in these types of places, don't call on the bartender to do something beyond his skills or that will take him 5 fucking minutes to find all the ingredients for and make, while he's got 10 other orders piling up.

I follow the same general rule for strip clubs as I do in dive bars: if you order a cocktail with more than 2 ingredients, you're a douchebag. It's just a rough rule, but it's a pretty good one, and both the bartender and your taste buds will thank you for it :)
K has the right idea, IMO: if you're saying "and" in your order, it's probably a good bet. Gin and tonic. Rum and coke. Scotch and soda.
As a general rule, if I'm not doing shots or beer, I'd rather stick with a decent whiskey, straight up, than almost any cocktail at a strip club.

Heh, I think Olive Garden is to Italian food as Sizzlers is to steak -- big favorite of anyone who doesn't know better :)
I go back and forth on the attention my ATATF so effortlessly garners. On the one hand, I kind of smile to myself when it's a bit more subtle. I would be uncomfortable at the point where all the women are staring daggers. I think the latter situation happens more often than I notice, but often my attention is fairly fixed on her, once I've done the obligatory initial security assessment via ocular pat-down of the room. (Always Sunny reference!)

BTW, I strongly prefer day OTC, or dusk OTC. That is, I always look to schedule the dates as early as noon (that is, we start at lunch instead of dinner), do some day drinking, potentially hit the dayshift strip clubs. I only do night OTC if that's the only thing that works for our schedules.
This is just personal preference, there's not much strategy going on here. Day OTC has the small advantage of, if you go strip clubbing together, it's MUCH more fun to do that on the lower-hustle dayshifts. Night OTC has the advantage that far more restaurants and bars are open, and you get the whole nighttime party energy

I do just-nice-enough hotels. Not shitholes that will turn her off, but I scrape by just past that. At least, I used to; if you live in a city where Recharge works, you can now afford to book pretty high end hotels. Strongly suggest you book the hotel "live", during the OTC. First, because she might not actually show up to the OTC. Second, because there's no reason to let her know where the hotel is in advance, and decent reasons not to.
I basically do the assumptive close, just tell her we'll meet at a restaurant ("what kind of food do you like?"), not a bad idea to do a really good restaurant, and then propose doing a little barhopping afterwards -- they always say yes to good food and drinking, except for high-volume strippers who have strict escort-like by-the-hour pricing. So, eat, drink, go back to the hotel and fuck it all off.

In a club I'm not familiar with, I like to start out sitting at a table in a far, dark corner, and observe a bit, before I move to a closer table (but not the tip rail)

I think nearly all of us have at least one dating or FWB story with a stripper, so it's certainly not impossible, but definitely improbable and not something that makes sense to pursue as your main goal.
I think the role-reversal here is: a girl who is not your type (for me it's a fat girl with a ghetto attitude, for others it might be a skinny back-ass white trash girl, etc) wants to date you. She's horribly grossly unattractive to you -- a 2, if that. Even if she can offer you something (gifts, whatever), are you going to start dating her and having sex with her? No, you're not, there's just about nothing that's going to get you over the hump of not being repulsed

Here's a true story about a buddy of mine. I'll give you a quick aside -- my buddies and I are all generally pro-police. We don't support police misconduct or abuse, obviously, but on the whole we have a generally pro-police outlook.
Okay, back to the story. My buddy is one of those guys who often gets enfatuated with teh waitress. In this club, the waitress was a HHHHOOOTTT Asian girl, bad girl in a fun way. And she dug him back, she talked the manager into letting my buddy take her in the back for a VIP, and agreed to go OTC with him as long as it was a double-date with me and her BFF at the club. I have to tell you, I think PLs who like the waitress are dingbats of the highest order, but my buddy was about to score the unicorn. THEN for some reason the knucklehead starts talking to her about politics, I told him to stop but he kept pressing his luck, then he hit on the topic of police (some police brutality story or other was in the news at the time) and it turns out she's super super anti-police and actively protests. You know what happens next: they have words. He is disgusted with her and wants no part of OTC.
In short: don't talk about politics. 22 year olds who have never been to college, do not have the same political views as successful educated middle-aged men. That's just what it is.

BJ, just to clear things up here: there is an experienced contingent on this board who believe the above does not occur, specifically "w customers we are fond of"... or, a less charitable way of saying it, the belief of many members here is that you are all basically coin-operated automatons who 100% operate based on compensation, with no change based on favored customers beyond what those customers spend (essentially, the tuscl version of stripperweb's stripper-as-perfect-actor belief). I don't believe that to be true -- I believe that all things being equal (like compensation) the girls regularly adjust rewards like limits or time spent at the table based on which customers they despise less. Am I way off?

Yes, Indian subcontinent kind. There are some Indian women in the clubs here, here and there. But I wasn't actually doing this thought experiment with strippers, just speaking generally.
I, too, agree that mixed race women are often really gorgeous. In particular, Eurasian features are a fave of mine

Floyd simply went 60% for most of it, so people wouldn't feel like the complete suckers that he and Conor played us for, then lit Conor up when he wanted and finished it. Floyd wasn't really even sweating after that fight, he looked completely fresh. The smiling and laughing at the end -- two business partners who pulled a fast one

My GUESS is: many guys get a free pass from their girlfriends and wives to get together with their buddies to watch the fights. Since they're out already, and free passes are hard to come by, post-fight the strip clubs fill to the brim with once-a-year-boys-night-out guys, and the strippers know it. I certainly know in Vegas it's wall-to-wall hottest strippers on fight night, but that's Vegas and has its own rules. But my personal guess is that regular strip clubs see a bump in customers and strippers, too

Yeah, a hot chick is a hot chick. There's no race that I'm just against on principle. But, if you randomly picked 30 white, black, asian, latin, & indian girls in a room, I might typically be attracted to:
1 of the Indian girls
5 of the black girls
8 of the Asian girls
13 of the latin girls
13 of the white girls
Just a matter of who I'm more likely to find attractive. Which doesn't mean I don't occasionally run into a super hot Indian girl, and fuck yeah I'll get dances from her, especially if her family is skilled at packing and shifting

STrippers universally tell me that they make far more on weekends. Which sometimes makes me wonder if the the non-weekend girls REALLY don't work weekends for whatever reason they tell us ("too many young guys" "hate the hustle" etc.), or if they just know that's what we like to hear, and the real reason is that management won't let them work weekends or maybe their don't have a weekend babysitter. *shrug* Whatevs, I like hearing that the reason is that they're avoiding all those young drunk guys and would rather hang out with me :) lol

The black girls sometimes play that card. I suppose part of it is justified (no doubt that SC reflects and magnifies some bad society behaviors), some is just frustration about people's non-racist preferences, and some just a tactic that works on the kinds of guys who have white guilt.
For the most part, I do not ever get into these discussions. As documented in my article, this falls under "don't be a little bitch". If I've turned down a stripper, 0% chance I'm answering any of her questions, much less one about my preferences.

chess, we discussed a very similar situation in another thread -- hot waitress who I'd like to p4p. Before I tell you my solution, I'll tell you my ethics quandary: asking a girl to do p4p can be upsetting and downright traumatizing to her, and worse yet, you're doing it to a waitress, a captive audience who basically might have no other choice than to go in the back for a quick cry and then come back out and serve you again. I think you have to tread carefully, ethically -- for all our self-effacing humor about being PLs, I don't think any of us want to sink to true disgusting scumbaggery, and it's not hard to end up there in this scenario.
So, my solution, if I decide to go for it. As I"ve said in other threads, in strip clubs I've been "letting it slip" that I'm on SA and want to find a sugarbaby. The strippers light up, it's like I see their eyes turn to dollar signs for a moment; nearly every single stripper I've said this to has turned out to have an SA profile of her own! The conversation is now her pursuing me to see if I"m interested in an SD/SB relationship.
I would definitely not broach the subject of p4p with a Hooters waitress, but I might let slip I'm on SA, or let her "catch" me on my phone looking at SA profiles when she walks up and then act a bit embarrassed, or have my buddy mention to her in some way. I think an indirect "I'm on SA" tends to signal interest in a way that won't be traumatizing like a direct proposition. And, I would be absolutely shocked if Hooters waitresses aren't a population of women who are over-represented on SA anyway, just like strippers: these are girls who are more attractive than average and whose jobs already show they're willing to lean into their sexuality to support themselves.

For offering lap dances at your house, I'd expect extras of some sort to be on the menu -- HJ, at least. I'd ask, to make sure, but can't see why anyone would be interested in this as a service if it didn't include a pop.
