The fine system is crazy. Since they have a near-monopoly in SF, they have further leverage over the dancers -- if a stripper makes waves, she can get blackballed from all DJV clubs, which basically means she isn't working as a stripper anymore in SF (ok, there's one non-DJV club left, but it's all nude dive club w/ extras, so not everyone's cup of tea).
The corporatization is a disaster for both the girls and the customers

Have you been to one, or basing this on reports? Anyway, with Brass Rail shut down, there's been a BR stripper diaspora, and some of those girls have found there way to this particular underground club (which is how the local PL found out about it)

^^^ INterestingly enough, there's a local PL insider who has been going to one of the underground Mexican hat dancing strip clubs. He's been giving light reports -- sounds pretty outrageous, lots of girls, lots of mileage, easy to pull OTC. No wonder these things get shut down by LE occasionally and have to move. Bit of a blessing that SanJo just doesn't have the manpower to pay much attention to it.

I wonder also if, with so many SC customers being "boys night out" customers rather than PLs, whether Deja Vu provides name recognition, the perception of a "safe" and consistent experience...
In SF, the DJV monopoly has been an unmitigated disaster. We have some of the worst clubs in any city -- and ironically, we're in a city where, at least in clubs that don't serve alcohol, there is no law enforcement action, period. DJV is free to do what they'd like, unencumbered by worries about law enforcement, and what we've got is that what was once one of the best SC cities (around the turn of the century) is one of the worst.

The risk calculation is interesting here, especially if Justin is right about simple possession potentially being a felony. Forget prison, even a few weeks in jail can be life-changing; that's a pretty enormous risk.
I avoid clubs that do ID scans as best I can, but sometimes there's no choice -- I think I've gotten my ID scanned only twice or so in the past 4 years. But I'm single, so am not vulnerable to blackmail, although ID theft is possible and can be an enormous headache. Not nearly enough to risk a felony; not even remotely in the ballpark. I dunno if my calculus would change if I were married

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Warrior15 is looking for "legendary" -- I think lots of clubs were super fun and might have had little golden ages, but even outside of the area, I've heard of clubs like Mons (even if that was a perennial runner-up to MBOT :), Follies, etc... those are more of what i think of as legendary. Some of the others, I wonder if they were just really great local clubs for a while

^^^ In any club I've been to, there's those girls who are way at the end of the curve making way more than an "average" girl at that club. My sense is, depending on the club, might be making double, triple or even more the amount than is average. So asking the highest earners completely distorts the picture

Another SF club, Condor Club, probably deserves at least a footnoted mention on this list, for being the first modern topless bar, and arguably the progenitor for all modern strip clubs

You've only left out the best strip club to ever exist in the US: Mitchell Brothers O'Farrell Theater
In its golden age, think Spearmint Rhino level hotness (and, in fact, during that time there were Vegas girls flying out to work at MBOT, first time I ever saw the migration in that direction), coupled with full availability of extras ... although at prices that were hefty but affordable for the time. Multiple rooms and shows going on at the same time, fully nude club and girls sometimes coming off stage and walking around nude, etc.

To add on: she is adorable without makeup. But red and blue lights can really magnify contrasts and the like -- I could easily see her skin looking blotchy and horrible under strip club lights. Maybe one of the strippers here can give an expert opinion, but my money is, with skin like that, makeup is required in a strip club, even if she looks cute in natural light

I don't do bottle service, but even during the day, I keep a steady stream of drinks -- often mandating shots rather than mixed drinks -- to the table. I suppose to some extent, I'm optimizing for day-drinking party girls, who are likely the ones who'll make poor business decisions (like hanging out with me all afternoon for $200).
One of the differences here is, there might not be a lot of gorgeous blonde spinners during dayshift, but when there is one, chances are she'll sit with my all afternoon, just like the others. Once she moves to nightshift, that's not happening anymore, I won't even get grandfathered in lol... I've run into 9+s on dayshift, we're not drowning in them like nightshift, but it happens

You've violated rule #2, Don't be a little bitch. Or, assuming this isn't a troll, you've become a RIL. All of this is indicative of the fact that, 1. she feels entitled, 2. she has no respect for you and knows she can easily manipulate you however she wants, 3. she doesn't value you as a regular (I'm guessing that however much $ you're paying her, you are also adding a LOT of emotional overhead and demands that just aren't worth it to her anymore).
There is exactly one way out of this: recognize she doesn't love you back, and that she is not giving you the experience you desire, and that given the dynamics you will never again get the experience you desire from her, so move on, and take this as a lesson not to make the same dumb mistake again
