Pittsburgh: Rundown of the Steel City

No not the Steelers. First thing that comes to mind for me is Flashdance. I fucking love that movie. I also love strip clubs and I went to some here. All of them in the city limits and now I’m gonna try tell you about them with this overview. I think Pittsburgh is a cool city, really it’s so sculpted by the hilly terrain and makes for some interesting neighborhoods. I think it’s underrated. And PNC park I think is one of the Crown Jewels of baseball parks. The strip club scene was just ok at best. This was a mix of visits preCovid and post CoVid 2019-2020. Divey kind of joints Controversy- This was a shit hole imo. Cover is $10. Plenty of parking. Dances are $20. The DJ has to climb a little latter to get to his perch it was really awkward to watch. Like a little tree house or some shit. The girls, there was nothing worth spending on and nobody danced when I was there it was just a empty stage for like a half hour. There’s better options. Mix of Latina/Black/White. 5ish. Cricket Lounge-More going Uptown. It’s a dive but I liked the vibe here. Comfortable. I think fun could be had, no cameras, curtain booths. Good mileage. Two way touch. No aggressive bird dogs. This might be the place in the city to actually have a good time. If you find a girl you like here this probably the spot. Kind of dead though on a weekend night. So Wtf is a Tuesday night like? Mix of white and black. Dances $25. Private Room $125 15 min. Upscaly kind of places Ricks-Great location in the heart of downtown and the crowd showed. Might be tricky park but I found some not too far. It’s tight though it’s like strip clubbing in a sardine can. Vertical. Multiple levels with an elevator. But for all the hooting and hollering the talent was pretty meh. This was on like Friday night too. I just had a hard time figuring out who I was gonna spend money and not in a good way. LD’s I’m curtain booths with cameras. Mileage is decent but limited. Dances $30. Cover $15. Overrated place. Mostly black white with a couple Latinas. Cheerleaders- I would say this is nicest club in the city. Just leaving downtown. Valet is $8. Cover $10. Free military. Talent was decent. Nothing crazy but a notch better than Ricks. 3 stages. Two behind bar. Customers ball up money and throw it at dancer. Dances $25. VIP $221 half hour, $442 full hour. Didn’t do VIP but LD room with benches in cubicles, has cameras and it limits mileage. Still two way. You got to go to a dancer in the middle stage to talk to here or hit here in the head with multiple balled up singles. Your choice whatevers more fun, it just sucks when you overthrow that shit into some guys drink. Most beer was 6.75. It was ok. I saw all races. Spearmint Rhino- I think if you asked most people they would say cheerleaders had the best talent in the city but I might go with SR. The newest club in Pitt. Over the bridge and a stones throw from Heinz field. Plenty of parking. Cover $5 free military. Mostly white girls, with some Latina and black. Floor dances are no touch for $20. The LD room is 3 songs for $75 or $150 for 15 min. CR was $350 for half and hour and $750 for an hour. I did the LD room 3 for $75. No cameras but the bouncer is right outside and it’s a quiet LD room, the guy can like hear everything it’s kind of a buzzkill. Can I make cum sounds in peace? Yeeesh. Mileage was decent LDK success. Dancer ratio was good at like 8ish on a Saturday I was one of two customers with like 10 dancers. I like the talent here but it’s an SR so they make it difficult to have any fun. Pittsburgh is beautiful city. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you haven’t already. The strip club scene is average though IMHO, the talent really doesn’t blow you away though but this area doesn’t have a huge population to draw on really either. I don’t think there is a grand slam strip club at this point in the city. I thought I’d give a quick snapshot judgement on the club scene here because there isn’t a huge Pittsburgh presence on TUSCL. So Pittsburghers, all two of you on here, if I’m dead wrong on anything feel free to correct and criticize away. Thanks for reading now I’m off to reenact a movie and there will be dancing involved.     Pittsburgh is an enjoyable city to visit. Unfortunately I visited with the wife, so no clubs for me. Flashdance was surprisingly good and still holds up well.

    Good information. Thanks for posting. $221 for 30 mins VIP at Cheerleaders is certainly an interesting amount. I wonder what the logic is in such a strange figure. Also I wonder which is the better bargain there in LD $150 for 15 minutes or 3 songs for $75. I would guess the latter, especially if you get complete songs.

    I love Pittsburgh. It's a great city but not a good place to go clubbing.

    I have traveled all over the US and been to most major cities (and many small ones) with work. Pittsburgh is among a few cities where my expectations were very low and it was way nicer and more interesting than anticipated.

    Agre, great ball park. Good time at a SC a few blocks from the ballpark but don't recall the name.

    Controversy could be hit or miss. There were a few cute and fun girls who showed up sometimes, but you’d have to fight off quite a few leeches also. 2 for 30 dances on Thursdays were a good deal, but then they started doing them in the vip party booths opposite the stage, instead in the back room. They never reopened when the bars were open. A dancer I talked to at Cheerleaders said she thought they were done. Cricket Lounge - also hit or miss. Some night way too many patrons with 2 dancers, other just the opposite. There definitely are cameras in the booths and couch “rooms”. You can see the monitor at the dj booth when going to the couches. It’s one of those Nightowl security DVR systems that the owner can log into also. Ricks - pretty much spot on, but there are a few dancers who are fun. It was great when they used to have a schedule posted, so it’s harder to know if it’s worth going any particular night without it. Cheerleaders - don’t forget the 2 for 1 dances until midnight on Tuesdays. It’s probably the best deal in Pittsburgh. Though the dance room can get crowded closer to midnight. 8-10 is about the right time to be there. Wednesday’s are half price rooms from 4-8, theoretically. However finding a dancer to do them is impossible. Not many dancers will show up before 8. The center stage isn’t open yet, so you can’t talk to dancers on stage. If a dancer does come out on the floor at all, they’re glued to regulars. Rhino - I never really liked it here, though I haven’t tried it since they started the 3/$75. $20 floor dances are useless and I don’t like to commit a $150 15 minute set without any idea what I’m getting.

    Twenty years ago Pgh was much better for stripper addicts like me. There was a club on Liberty Ave downtown, up the stairs, with a private booth. It was a two-way show. There was another club near it, also up the stairs, with a stage and theater seats. I used to sit in the front row and jack off; I loved it when the girls on stage reciprocated. Once I ate a dancer out there, on stage.
