Going to be in the Eastern Panhandle for July 4. Are any of the Berkeley County clubs open? Elysium's last FB entry was in 2017. Taboo, Lust and Vixens websites don't offer any information one way or the other. Also would be curious about Golden Horseshoe. Any intel is appreciated. Thanks. -Ollie
I've been curious about this too. Its been like an utter information blackout on WV SCs for the last 2+ months.
Based on the latest WV governor's order dated 7/1 that I just read, adult entertainment venues, indoor concert/music halls, and other similar businesses are still ordered to remain CLOSED. Seems ridiculous to me that bars, indoor restaurants, casinos, and movie theaters, etc. all reopened over a month ago, but not SCs.
This past Sunday I took one for the team...or at least for the three people on this board who care about this topic...lol. I drove about 45 minutes from Morgan County where I was staying to do some sleuthing. Here are my findings from the Bunker Hill side of Berkeley County. Vixens is closed. I was expecting some sort of smart-alecky message on their sign. Alas it said simply Closed Due to COVID-19. Elysium generally may not be open on Sundays (I'm uncertain of this). But they appeared to possibly be open currently. There were a couple of large rolling trash bins out front that appeared to be full. Also I found a different FB page for them which mentioned reopening on June 5 to 50% capacity. Maybe they are able to open due to being a BYOB establishment? I tried calling on Friday night but got voice mail and no return call. Foxy Lady which is listed on this site as Out Of Business and at a different address is actually on Winchester Ave./Route 11, with a sign outside, but appears to possibly be undergoing some renovations. There was evidence of construction work going on in the building. Foxy Lady has an active website which is curious if the club is truly out of business. As for the Martinsburg side of the county I heard through the grapevine that Lust is closed at least through the end of July. I got no intel on Taboo, but am presuming since it has common ownership with Vixens that it is closed for the time being as well. That's all for now. Peace, Ollie.
