Decided to give CCR another try...

It's been a while since I stopped by at CCR. If you've read some of my other reviews from the DMV area, I typically avoid clubs that don't allow touch/contact because - well - "what's the point?". (BTW - for those looking for that in Northern VA, Papermoon is pretty much your only option).

However, as chance would have it, I was in the Crystal City area on business on a Friday afternoon, and decided to give CCR another chance. CCR is sandwiched in-between a 7-11, a restaurant, and a gas station, and is near an interesting melange of other retail including a CVS, a Pawn Shop, a bank, a Kabob place and other restaurants, etc.. If you drive, do note that parking is pretty much non-existent - you might be able to find some street (metered) parking near by - but be prepared to walk a bit.

There was no cover charge, and food and drink prices were very reasonable. However I noticed that they don't seem to have liquor anymore. I'm not sure when that changed, but I remember they used to maybe a year ago. FYI their hard cider is pretty good.
