I know four who have died from covid. Two were in their late 80s. I also had two friends that died. One was in his early 60s. He was overweight but active. The other was in her 50s and in very good health with no underlying conditions. All four were pre-vaccine.

I mostly cook too, rather than eat out. As far as steaks go, I will only have a restaurant steak at a really good steakhouse. Otherwise, I’ll grill my own. I enjoy cooking fish and wild game as well as roasting home grown vegetables. I like my own grilled salmon and lake trout better than anything I can find in a restaurant. I’ve also started grilling walleye and crappie as a change of pace from a fish fry. But I’m a newbie at that and have a ways to go on grilling those species.

There really is not indisputable video evidence here as to whether Meyer was guilty of illegal use of hands.

I’m guessing blah knows a thing or two from experience and I believe her if she says there is a market for non-sexual OTC. The idea may seem pretty foreign to most of us here but I don’t doubt that there is at least some demand for such services.

How long does it take me to get over a stripper? Well, if I haven’t had too much to drink and I’m not nursing a pulled hamstring or some such injury, it only takes a couple seconds to get over her.

I have no idea what the biggest challenge is to a newbie stripper. But when your gut tells you not to do something, listen to your gut and, hopefully, you won’t experience anything too regrettable.

I concern myself with my own expenditures. The last thing I feel like expending time doing is trying to make someone else’s earnings my business.

My sense is the restaurant biz was probably due for a correction even before covid. Then add in that it’s always had a pretty high failure rate. Then add in the various things people have mentioned in this thread. It’s not a big surprise if the industry is having a tough time.

Ok, I’ll be the oddball. I’ve used it some, especially when things were locked down. It’s certainly not been a major means of entertainment for me but it has its place.

Good gawd. I think I’d rather be found lying in a pool of my own vomit rather than attend this event.

Ammo is still in short supply. Chips for vehicles. Appliances of all sorts. Some medicines. There are multiple reasons for these shortages but covid’s disruption to supply chains is a big problem. We really need to make more stuff here again.

I make my own. Nothing fancy. A Mr. Coffee and Folgers dark roast. I tend toward being a beer snob but I’m not picky about coffee and only have a morning cup or two.

I don’t ask. This is her job and her personal life is not my business so long as she doesn’t make it so. That being said, it will likely come up somewhere in the conversation eventually if it’s a gal I’ve seen a lot. I don’t really care one way or another if she is in a relationship or whether she is honest with me about that.
