  I'm not into it. But dancers can make money with OF without nudity etc. Post a few lingerie pics. Some sexy candids like upstarts. Some twerk videos. Use it to communicate with guys. Let them have access to you in messages if they tip. Give them an online gfe fantasy basically. Get them to the club. Its easier to manage than texting them and you make Money off them just for the chance to communicate with you.

  Personally I use computer so much at work I avoid it as much as possible when I’m away from there. I just don’t see the appeal of an online relationship and I’m too cynical and skeptical to attempt to turn something online into in-person. I would much rather see a 6 or 7 up close and personal in a club than talk to a 10 through some website.

(thank god i am not a PL)" Yeah everyone says publicly they would never pay for only fans but obviously somebody is. Granted there's probably a lot of females that tried(and failed) only fans, instagram, snapchat premium, etc, but there's a small percentage of women that do well enough on those platforms. Now me, I will pay for lap dances. I will even pay for sex. If I was old i would probably even pay a sugar baby(which prostitution by a different name anyway). But I absolutely refuse to pay for onlyfans and the like.

  Ok, I’ll be the oddball. I’ve used it some, especially when things were locked down. It’s certainly not been a major means of entertainment for me but it has its place.

  I am not a fan at all and will not use it. One, I don't like the traceability which will be there with an account and a form of payment. Two, I just don't want to pay for photos. There is so much available for free, why would you pay for a photo or video. I do know a few dancers who say that they are making decent money. I also know a number of them who make less than $100 per month (actually much less).

  I see lots of girls online who post links to OnlyFans on every social media site they are on. It must be a useful method of generating income? I’m not sure how much the average girl who gets naked online can make? I’m sure it is a lot of work to keep a fresh online presence. Looking sexy - keeping your body looking tight and firm - and showing just enough to get guys interested - as almost an art form. My view is simple - there’s so much free online porn - I’m not yet interested in paying for content. There is a huge difference between banging one out with a sexy stripper - and watching that stripper getting fucked online. I will happily pay to fuck a stripper - but paying to see her get fucked isn’t worth it.

  Jaz, you have to realize all the guys giving you advice are guys that go to strip clubs, they don’t need to look at girls online because they like to go see girls in person. On the other hand, not all guys are so lucky, they don’t have the means to drop money in clubs, or they don’t have access (wife, kinds interfering, no good clubs in their immediate area) so some guys out there LOVE OnlyFans, just look at the revenue some girls are generating on there. Now, how to promote yourself to those guys you’ll never meet inside the club, we’ll I have the slightest clue on how to do that.

  I’ve only spent money in strip clubs. Never online watching girls. There are often some hot girls I occasionally see online but I don’t get that excited seeing pictures versus real in person. If everyone was like me, no girl would be making money online so I guess I’m not like everyone else. Even one girl I occasionally see online I call a 9.5 I never spent a dime. I can see pictures for free so I don’t know why some guys get into it that much.

  I dipped my toes in OF as a novelty when all the clubs were closed, but I have no use for it now. Most of the girls I know who posted content on it told me that they didn't make much - certainly not enough to justify the effort of constantly creating new content. From what I gather it's a very small percentage of content providers who earn the bulk of the revenues from that sight with unique gimmicks of one sort or another, but I really don't know.

  Maybe it just means I'm a crude person, but having a good conversation with someone I'm horny for doesn't make me more horny for them. In any case, I doubt anyone on OF could give me a better conversation than the ones I can get for free. As far as personalized porn, it would be nice to be able to edit a long sex scene to omit stuff I'm not into. But, even with that, I don't see why there can't be a Netflix of porn, with many thousands of scenes available on demand, for $10 - 20 a month. The performers in the movies on Netflix make many many millions of dollars. Porn will have to get my $ in a similar way, make content with a broad appeal, not try to make me pay a lot more than Netflix asks for. I feel like, for most women, if the customer is polite, lap dancing is easier than OF. People may to get massaged. If you get popular on OF, it seems inevitable someone will record you without you're knowing. That is more likely to cause you problems in the future than having lap danced.

  I live in an area where the clubs and dancers are both good and nearby. So, it's not worthwhile or appealing to me. For those in remote areas or experience more social anxiety (or have limited budgets), I suspect that OF is good for them. Also, spending any effort at all on trying to figure out desertscrub and his moods is a poor investment of your time. For most of us, it's "eye-roll and scroll".

  I have a theory that for the guys who like a dancer's OF page, they see some value in what I call "porn of the known." It's one thing to see a hot model doing hot sex in a porn video, even knowing that she is "just acting" and you are never likely to meet her in real life (IRL) - aka "porn of the unknown." But to see a hot dancer that you've met, spoken with and even danced with, there could be some interest in seeing her do things in pics and vids that you haven't, couldn't, or wouldn't do with her in the club. Perhaps for these fans the fantasy of porn of the known seems to put them one level closer to making that fantasy into reality?

  I've used OF/camsites out of boredom and convenience. OF are mostly scammers and no way of knowing until you subscribe either by upcharging/ppv, posting 320p quality pics, or upclose foot/elbow or whatever shot can't tell what I'm seeing. Most I payed was 5$ so no big deal, but would never pay more and I'm a sucker too. Camming is much better; Cheaper, has previews, and instant feedback. SCing gets expensive so I supplement w camsites. Paired w picky physical tastes when clubs don't have my type, it's easier to find via much larger selection pool online what I'm looking for.

  To @herb’s point. “Porn of the known” seems like it would be an attraction, which would likely make Onlyfans a legitimate value added synergy to your dancing, but not a replacement of dancing. Personally, I would love to see dancers that I know, have talked to, and likely have experienced in VIP engaged in explicit online porn content. And yes, I think I would be willing to pay for it. But I’m not willing to pay what most of the OF sites are charging for their explicit content.

  @Jazzy. I think the reason your regulars follow your page is because they use it as another way to please you with another form of tipping. Maybe it also gives them another way to see you when they can't make it to the club? I've only known one dancer who started a page during the pandemic and she didn't make much money from it even though it was fairly explicit.

  It doesn’t really do anything for me to see dancers I know on OnlyFans after I’ve seen it all up close already. If a dancer I know is posting b/g videos and won’t do extras or meets with customers, then it’s just a level of blue balls that I don’t want. But the vast majority of girls stick to solo and toy pics.

  I agree with iknowbetter. Herb made a good point with his term “porn of the known” - and that can be enticing - but I don’t think it will capture my interest long enough to keep me spending monthly. I’m into rougher sex irl - and it’s too rough to be done itc. Watching a stripper I know get throat fucked until she pukes - or getting whipped hard as she’s tied down and screaming - would be highly arousing. But I don’t know if it would retain my interest for a long enough time (more than a month or two). It’s like these streaming TV subscription services. I lose interest after a few months and then I stop.

  I am not a fan at all for paying for online porn. Actually, it honestly bores me to a point. If I can't touch, smell and enjoy the woman's body, then I will never pay to just look at pics or videos.
