There is the issue of inflation where just about everything seems more expensive. But I think there is also an issue of at least somewhat diminishing interest in most amusements after one has been at it a long time with new amusements taking the place of old ones. At least for me, there tends to be a certain amount of “been there, done that” which lowers my interest in a variety of pursuits, regardless of the cost. I don’t know if the same calculus is at play for you, Muddy, or for anyone else but maybe the $500 would be more palatable if you were newer at the game? Idk.

I guess I don’t know about the State Farm dude but all the rest are on record as having been vaxxed when it first came out. So as far as I can tell, the only possible CIA plant has to be the dude who encourages Patrick Mahomes to bundle home and auto. Plus, State Farm seems to get more air time than Swift. Or the actual football game. Suspicious. So possibly there is a global conspiracy to get us to buy insurance, idk. But I’m not too worried about Tay Tay ruining my day.

I’ve found it pretty common. Usually after getting to know the gal somewhat and they’ve gotten to know me and get a pretty accurate sense that I’m down. It seems the less pushy about it but the more I give off the sense that I’m not new to mongering, the more apt they are to bring it up.

Sometimes I need to clean up and have a few suits, sport coats, dress shirts, shoes and slacks etc. But otherwise, it’s t shirts, flannels or a hoodie. Jeans, work pants/tactical. Trail runners or shit kickers. Enough baseball caps to start my own store. If you count a sig iwb, I guess that’s often part of my attire too.

We’ve edged back above zero here. T shirts and shorts weather….at least at the club.

Well, I may own a firearm or two.

Elbows are not pointy enough

Years ago, I’d try to nail down more specifics, other than price. Price always needed clear agreement and still does. Over time, it got to where I’d concern myself less with possible deal breakers in terms of activities during OTC. I think there are two reasons for this. First, OTC is always a roll of the dice. Will she even show up? Will she follow through on anything agreed to? Even with a repeat gal, YMMV. Having said that, I’ve yet to meet a dancer who doesn’t know what I want in general with OTC. Whether they provide that experience is another matter. The second reason is that I got way more selective about it. No matter how hot she is or what she says in the club, I’m not interested in even trying to arrange a get together unless the vibe and convo seem real easy and straightforward. If she seems flaky, dramatic or inconsistent in the club, it’s a pass for me.

I had no idea it still existed

My perfect backyard would have about a five acre open field, some duck ponds, a trout stream and then a lot of woods. Something that excludes the general public. I’ll go out my front door to see the world when I want that. When I’m home I enjoy nature.

So long as one doesn’t make it too obvious, soaking in eye candy that way is one of life’s little pleasures. Does that girl think you’re an old pervert? Maybe in some ways, as in she’s not remotely interested in dating you. At the same time, every person would rather be affirmed in having at least some sex appeal than not. You didn’t make it uncomfortable or problematic for her. So she probably had a brief grin and then didn’t think twice about it.
