Spearmint Rhino in Lexington has a huge and I mean theatre sized TV behind the stage. They show sports on it all the time. I have been there for UK games. I cannot really tell you about clubs in other places, besides Dayton, but if you are in Lexington KY and want to go where people like to watch sports then Spearmint Rhino is your best bet. My suggestion to you if you are in my area is to go to Spearmint Rhino when UK is playing, since UK is huge here, and there should be a good amount of people there.

In Lexington I have never seen a stripper that the BMI index would rate as overweight. Then again Platinum Plus Lexington and Spearmint Rhino Lexington are top 100 according to quality of dancers on TUSCL. I honestly think my city is underrated when it comes to strip clubs.

Motorhead UK won the big game in the NCAA tourny rematch against IU and won the championship a week later :) Also I don't proof read my post so sorry about making Kentuckians look bad with mis-spellings lol.

Rickdugan: Kentucky is a buetiful state with buetiful horse farms. We do have too many rednecks but there are also plenty of well educated people like myself. Also Lexington and Louisville are decent sized cities. Also Lexington has plenty of upper scale clubs in Spearmint Rhino and Platinum Plus. However I do understand the points you are making as like I said we do have our share of rednecks and our educational system is fairly weak.
Also Kentucky isn't much of a place to be for football fans. I am a University of Kentucky fan and our football team blows this year. However if you are a basketball person then Kentucky is the place to be. Both Louisville and UK made the final four last year and UK won the championship. GO CATS! :)

One of the comments on that article in the washingtonpost stated that we are, "Devolving as a species." That guy couldn't be more wrong. If anything we are becoming more intelligent as a species by allowing, and becoming, more acceptable of people being able to do what they want to make themselves happy, as long as it doesn't harm someone else.
I personally think that since people are becoming more acceptable of strip clubs it just means that our society is becoming more modern and better suited for making sure that everyone is happy. I mean if someone is stressed out and needs a good time than what better than a visit to a strip club?

I have had my share of dances with little contact and my share of dances with plenty of contact. So I cannot really point out any dance in particular. I have noticed that the girl will usually give a better dance after you have paid for a couple already. Most of the time it is you get what you pay for.

I like reading most of the threads. Also I am glad for the advice I have been given on this website. By the way I posted a thread about how to finance strip clubs better while living on my own. An update on that is I have two roommates and can easily afford 150 to 200 dollars a visit, for two visits a month :)

Wow this is my city. I don't go to Fillies though it isn't as good as Platinum Plus and Spearmint Rhino.

I am young and have had similiar experiences. I think they just go where the money is young or old. I see strippers doing the same thing to the older guys at the clubs. I get high mileage when I take a girl to the VIP because well I took her to the VIP. My friends don't spend as much and because of that they don't get as much attention.
Actually funny story really. The strippers are all over my friends at first. Realize I have more money so then they are giving me all, and more, of the attention. I guess the girls think my friends, who are young too, are more attractive than me but become attracted to me more than my friends when they realize where the money is in my group.

I understand that it isn't wise to use a card at clubs. Especially since ATM fees are around 7 to 10 dollars just to use. It would be nice if I never end up getting billed. Who ever their finance people are probably have to deal with so many transactions that I may just be able to slip by. I wont count on it though. However if Saturday comes around and I havent been billed yet I may start assuming I will never get billed :)

Yeah I agree with everyone. The charge should come back. Hopefully sooner than later so I can stop deducting the charge in my head everytime I look at my account. Also Alucard I agree that I need to stop using my debit card.I am thinking of just using my bank ATM, withdrawel around 150 and just use that money at the club.

Pre game before the club. I usually drink a six pack, and yes I have a DD. That way I am only tempted to just drink a beer or two at the club. Also you can spread dances out the best you can. Perhaps wait for the 2 for 1's to come around. That way you could spend a couple hours at the club but not blow more than 100 to 150.

Darkblue999: I understand what you mean. I think the best thing to do is to try out Deja vu club strictly since it is cheaper and budget around 150 to 200 a month, and just see where that goes. Thank you for your advice though it is appreciated.
AfricanLovePimp: I agree. I applied to many internships but never made it past the interview. My GPA was only a 3.1 and most poeple that get an internship have a 3.5. So I am at an entry level position and planning on moving up. Many college students are struggling with underemployment though.
Tabb: Glad to see we are in similiar situations. However you said 50 grand a year that is really good. How did you get such a great job right out of college? Just curious. We are in a generation of underemployment unfortunatly. I will PM you.
Canny: I agree I definitly wont pass up a SC part time job if it comes up.

I usally spend around 250 to 300 per month for the past year or so. Before that when I was in college, and only having money from my summer job and student job, it was around 150 per month.

Randy77 I understand what you mean. I am using my finance skills but was also looking for some advice from people that have experienced more than I have. As for student loans my parents paid for my college, and I also had plenty of scholarship money. My addiction to strip clubs are also playing a role in my judgment, as I will admit to that. I have recently applied to a job that is better than the one I have, but within the company I work for. Also the current job market made it tough even for a college grad to get a really good job. There are people I graduated with that don't even make as much as I do. Hopefully I will be able to make more soon and use my degree better.

I have read all the comments. I appreciate the advice and I will try to respond the best I can.
I saw a few comments relating to finances. So I will try to sum up an answer. My 401k isn't that expensive it only takes out 4 percent a paycheck so around 45 dollars since I am too young to put too much into it. I have considerd getting rid of health insurance but my parents want me to keep it and I still rely on them for cell phone bills and they paid off my car so I am still sort of relying on them, but so are most young adults. Also I am getting paid 13 an hour, not 11, and right now I actually only spend around 400 on rent and utiltiies right now and add all other expenses I spend around 550 to 600. So I have around 700 of spending money and still have a little left over.
Steve3003 I do agree with you that the comments relating to getting a roommate are valid, and again I appreciate everyone helping me out. I am looking for a roommate and hopefully things will work out. Worst comes to worst Deja Vu can be where I am a regular at since it is the least expensive. Many college students go in there and most of them have less money then me even if I am living by myself.

Also in case anyone was wondering 1500 is net income. My gross is 2000 but taxes, benefits, and 401k eat me alive.
Steve3003 I understand what you saying. Hopefully one day I will be making that kind of money and I am sure I will after a couple promotions. My goal is to be making around six to seven times more in a decade or so when I am in my mid thirties. Strip clubs are just so much fun. I have been thinking about the idea of sticking to deja vu Lexington since it is cheaper and if I go there twice a month then it would be better for me financially vs other clubs. I could go to better clubs when I get paid more on down the road. The idea of a girlfriend has crossed my mind.
Also I understand what you mean with the girlfriend statement. I am considering a girlfriend but not much luck at all with getting a good girlfriend in the past.

Fenster it would be tough getting that as a part time job. However a part time job at a strip club would be nice. Not sure if any clubs in the area are hiring part time positions right now though.

Sinclair I agree that a roommate will be helpful. I have created an account on roomster.com and hopefully I can get someone to live with me. I still have a month and a half to figure this all out. For Lexington the closer one is to downtown the more expensive the cost of living. The apartments that have one bed, one bath for under 600 are on the edges of the city, and aren't that close to the downtown area. The good thing is all Lexington strip clubs are not downtown since Lexington doesn't allow them to open in downtown, and where I work at isn't downtown either. Lexington is generally a clean city and doesn't have too many rough areas.

I have read all the comments and appreciate the advice. I understand the points everyone is trying to make. Also I have taken in the fact that I need to start taking strip clubbing less seriously. I have actually been doing better the last couple months as I have been going out to the movies and bowling with friends as well as going to the clubs. It used to be only strip clubs that would be the only thing I do when I go out. However I still need to get to the point to where I look at strip clubs as something fun to do and nothing more as many of you have mentioned.
I think strip clubs are good for a person dealing with depression, like me, but only to an extent. As some of the comments mentioned it can lead to disaster which I do agree with. That is why, for atleast the time being, I will not plan on meeting strippers outside the clubs nor give them money for anything more than dances. Not that I wouldn't turn down the idea of dating a stripper though, for example if I meet one at a bar or online dating then I would certaintly give it a chance.

georgemicrodong: I have been told that I take life too seriously by people for many years. So I guess I do have deeper issues than taking strip clubs too seriously. I do in fact take life more seriously than most people my age. As I mentioned before as well I have clinical depression and strip clubs have helped me with it. They are so much fun!

Deogol: You make a great point and thank you for taking the time to comment. As I always say I appreciate it when people take the time to talk to me. However I am unsure if I even really want a family. I certaintly don't want to ever have kids. So most people may look back and say, "Crap I don't have a family" but not me.
I went on a couple dates thanks to Plentyoffish.com but looking back at it I am actually kind of glad there was never a second date with either girl I went on a date with. The strippers are more buetiful then any girl I could get with on a dating website or meet at a bar.
