California is unfriendly to all businesses. They keep doing things to chase the businesses out of town.

I went boating this weekend wearing shorts and a tshirt.

I know someone who has done business in Miami. According to him, Miami is the most corrupt city he's ever done business in. The bribes that he had to pay to get anything done were staggering. There were times when he told a local official who was asking for a bribe that he'd already paid off the county official who had authority over the local official so he wasn't paying the local guy too. That's why the Miami strip clubs are so good. They pay off the cops, the officials, the elected politicians, etc...

And both conservative and liberal politicians are hypocrites. They're hiring prostitutes while trying to shut down strip clubs. Why are they hiring prostitutes? Because they're afraid of being recognized going into a strip club.

Most strippers who I know don't report their income on their taxes. I know one who works a second job because she has to show income for legal reasons so she works part time in addition to stripping. Because they officially earn $0, strippers are eligible for Medicaid and they won't have to pay for health insurance or pay the fines/taxes for not having health insurance. Legally, many clubs treat strippers like employees. Financially, strippers are much better off as independent contractors than as employees.

After I found the cameras hidden in the speakers in one strip club's private rooms I've always assumed that there are hidden cameras if they're not visible. The way I found the cameras is there was an extra wire running into the back of one of the speakers. Alucard is right, what counts is what's done with the cameras. Are they monitoring them and how long are they keeping the recordings.

Many strippers don't know how to show up on time for work and work the entire shift. How many people complain about strippers hiding in the dressing room, sitting at the bar texting or talking with other strippers, etc. and ignoring the customers? Stripping teaches a lot of bad habits that make it very hard for them to keep any other job unless they have enough discipline to overcome them by showing up when they're scheduled and working the entire time they're scheduled.

Some hotels are pet friendly. Red Roof Inn for example allows one pet per room.

I read a comment that the silver in a 25¢ silver quarter from when the minimum wage was 25¢ an hour is worth slightly over $23 today. That's just the value of the raw silver, not the value of the coin to a collector. That's how much inflation, aka QE, hurts the average citizen. The biggest theft of real value from American citizens was when one of our Presidents, I think it was Nixon but it might have been Johnson, got rid of the Gold Standard so that a dollar treasury note, what we call a dollar bill, could be exchanged for a set weight in gold.

Both the drunk driver and the person serving him/her should be held accountable. Good luck with that if it's me or someone like me. When I spent that much time in a club sitting with a dancer, it's because we know each other outside of the club and we're enjoying talking the same way we do when we're not at the club and she doesn't care about earning money that night because I'm not feeding her 20's.
