Depending on what type of price range you're looking for though, you can probably still find a very decent car for not a lot of money at like a Hyundai or Scion dealership.

But @mjx01, when I say it's presently impossible, I mean exactly that: we don't know how to make something travel at C yet. I understand it's mathematically impossible given what scientists currently know, but "what we currently know" is always changing and it could be the case that some day that might change.

No, if you're traveling at the speed of light (which presently is impossible), time doesn't exist for you. You wouldn't be able to turn on the lights. If you were traveling CLOSE to the speed of light, you'd be able to turn them on (albeit you would do it very very slowly), and the lights would still turn on.
But if you were moving literally AT the speed of light, time would cease to exist. Nor would you be able to STOP traveling at the speed of light because you'd essentially be frozen in time, doomed to collide into whatever object you eventually, inevitably made contact with.

Wonder if it's legal to have the dancers sign a contract (since they're usually not employed, they're just independent contractors) explaining that under no circumstances are dancers allowed to file a lawsuit against the manager or the club, for any reason.

Apple Valley is way out there... to get to a decent strip club you'd probably have like a 90 minute drive at least, maybe with the exception of Tropical Lei in Upland which is maybe a one hour drive.
And while there's certainly nothing wrong with dancing at Tropical Lei, make sure you know what you're getting into there. If you're gonna talk the talk, make sure you can walk the walk.

I prefer to keep the illusion that they're clean-cut, girl-next-door types so I usually avoid the ones with clear drug issues. Whether the dancers I currently see have drug problems is unknown to me. I don't think they do but I guess I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Defining the scale just in terms of yes and no is too black and white for most people. Variety is the spice of life and there will always be shades of gray.
For example, there are a lot of 1s or 0s for you maybe, but the extent to which they're 1s always varies. How do you separate a truly exceptional 1 from just an average 1? Or even a below average 1 who barely makes the cutoff from 0?
There are lots of factors that go into the decision-making process that are harder to quantify than just 1/0, yes/no, black/white.
Not saying I approve of the 1-10 scale (beauty is in the eye of the beholder in my opinion), but it is at least universally understood.
