How much money do you walk around with?
Similar to Subra & Denim. $50-$150 most of the time. Bump up to $500 if I feel like a big club visit. Use rebate credit cards (full balance paid monthly) for most daily spending.

Strip Clubbing 6 - 12 months From Now
Three years from now, I suspect will will have an effective and widely administered vaccine and the economy will be on the upswing. Until then: Depending on the particular state, bar & clubs will be permitted to open in a couple of months, but occupancy will be limited to 25% or so of firecode permitted occupancy. Day shift, lower customer count but favored by horny retired guys with minimally impacted income will seem almost normal. Night shift, usually higher customer count skewed towards non-retired guys with varied impacted incomes will be reduced. If more guys show up than permitted, then we can expect higher cover charges to get in. If too many PL’s incomes are reduced, then expect lower drink prices, 2-4-1 dance promotions, and clubs squeezing dancers for an even larger share of their dance incomes or other fees. Which will lead to dancers leaving the business or ongoing improved opportunities for OTC. In most Lap Dances/Private Rooms with cameras, both parties will be required to wear masks. Bouncers will be more focused on naked mouths than naked titties. Private rooms without cameras, everything will still come off. I’m still not seeing much in the way of hand sanitizers in the stores. So any restroom trolls who do have sanitizer may actually see their tips increase. (Of course, soap is more effective and remains relatively available.)

    Photo gallery
I like the Photo Gallery as a backend resource for dancers’ marketing photos or for photos used to illustrate posts and articles (i.e. Reverend Hornibastard’s excellent articles.) In this case, the Photo Gallery supports original content. And for that reason I hope it continues. But to use it as just a place to drop yet another copy of free and widely available photos. That does seem to be a waste of space. Plus, I don’t know if serving up copyrighted material in this manner exposes Founder to any legal liability.

Ah, I get it now, Founder: “Bookmark” your Clubs, and “Follow” your Dancers. As for the icon for Dancers from your preferred site, I nominate the outlined heart. The flower might be an alternate.

The bookmark feature seems to be a rework/enhancement of the “following” feature. All of the clubs I was following are now bookmarked. You can now sort you favorite clubs by various criteria. I think it’s a nice addition! But the dancers I was following have disappeared. (Oh that sounds pervy!) Perhaps a similar page for dancers is Founder’s next site enhancement.

    Any Clubs Permanently Closed Yet?
I’m pretty sure Club Adore in Baltimore is permanently closed. I stopped by 6 or 7 times Thursday thru Saturday nights between Thanksgiving 2019 and March 2020. Not open any of those times. I was going to give it one more shot before submitting the TUSCL obituary. But COVID19 shut everything down first. Perhaps it will be sold again.

People are going broke over this
Repost, one paste only: @Rick: I get that shutting down is causing an enormous amount of hardship, economic and otherwise. But you you say “We need a different approach now”, what other viable approach would you recommend? People with much greater expertise than you or I don’t have a better answer. If we don’t shut everything down to slow the infection rate, most people will become almost simultaneously infected and we won’t have a functional health care system. Shutting down buys us time to keep the health care system as functional as possible. With 330 million people in the USA and assuming a 70% infection rate and a mortality rate between 1% (with a functional health care system) and 3.4% (without a functional health care system) that’s between 2.3 million and 7.8 million deaths in the next few months. Is shutting down the economy for a few months worth saving 5.5 million lives? I will grant that my numbers are only guesses at this point, but any reasonable set of numbers will show that millions of live can be saved with a shutdown.

Along the lines of SirLapdanceAlot’s suggestion, when it comes to the photos, I would like to see my ignored list applied to the photo’s (rather than mute.) While I enjoy the vast majority of posted photos, there are a couple of posters whose periodic photos I just don’t want to see. (If I had any hand sanitizer, I’d be cleansing my eyes...)

    TUSCL Feature Requests
A couple of months ago in another thread, there was some brief discussion about the large number of localities shown under each state. Often more localities listed than actual clubs in the state. There was some speculation why the change was made, but no definitive answer. Would it be possible to thin out the list? I’ve tried to use the lists while I planned some business travel but found it rather unwieldy. This sort of ties in with my previous post.

Also, when looking at the list of clubs in a given city, make “closest” club the default option instead of “random” order. And provide several distance options (“5 miles”, “10 miles”, “25 miles”, etc.)

    Splitting Favs Between Clubs?
Depends on how much trust/goodwill you’ve built up with her and how valuable that is to you. Generally, I’d recommend honesty here. Tell her you’ll certainly see her at the other club if she goes. But also tell her about your opinion of the other club’s clientele. If you sugar coat the other club and she moves, she’ll figure out the truth soon enough and her level of trust in you will diminish.
