This explains why there are so many cam girls. I'm not complaining. I'm just a little surprised they are making so much. I wonder what the average income per hour is? I bet that number is a lot lower. Strippers might have trouble online because it sounds like many are looking for hot college girl types without a bunch of tattoos.
This also explains why you don't see that many 10's in strip clubs anymore. They went to some place greener. I haven't seen any 10's in years anyway. I don't know, maybe some of the 8's and 9's would be like a 10 if they weren't covered in tatoos.

Some top models are making $75,000 to $100,000 a month on myfreecams. Apparently I have visited two of the higher paid sites.
I noticed you don't get timed out as quick on jasminlive.com on a mobile device as you do on a pc.
For some reason, myfreecams doesn't stream on my iPad. It just has a few frames every so many seconds.
Did you have any clue soe girls were making so much? I guess some of that money gets paid out to the site and or others for fees unless that was profit.

That may be the key statement – I would bet sharkhunter’s left nut that may be 1% of all cam girls, of the shitload of them; making that kind of $$$.
Just like many think that strippers get paid like athletes when in reality the vast majority are probably working strippers getting by ok.

I'm just glad they aren't looking for strippers. I might occassionally surf to a cam site when bored or redirected but I don't usually stay long and never spent a dime on a cam site. It's still just looking at pictures as far as I'm concerned. However if you are in some foreign country or the boondocks, it's something to look at.
I do remember one stripper had her own cam site a long time ago. When I asked her about it, she asked me to keep it quiet in the club. She didn't want everyone to know. It was a long time ago.

$75,000 a month? I guess I don't understand how these things work. I thought they made X dollars per minute, which I assumed they whacked up with the site.
40 hours a week would be almost $8/min and that doesn't include whatever piece the site takes. Is it really that expensive and are there really guys constantly watching?

anytime im not in a SC, im on myfreecams or chaturbate. I try not to spend much money at all if i can avoid it, but every once in awhile i'll plunk down $149 for tokens. it can get addictive if you find a cam model you like.

I remember I did pop into one popular room on myfreecams one time and they were talking about one guy who tipped something like 8000 credits or more. I did not know if one credit equals a dollar or whatever. The numbers remind me of a dancer telling me she made $4000 one weekend. She didn't make anywhere even close to half that amount on a normal night. Some reporter could have reported top dancer makes $16,000 a month just working three days a week. That would not be entirely true.

Like others have stated, the superstars are a small percentage in any profession. Web camming must be the same. Like Slick mentioned, it's not for me either. I know of a few former strippers that are now web cam actresses. (One is featured among my profile pics.)
When dancers tell me it's been a lot slower at their clubs in the past couple of years, I try to convince them that web camming has cut into their business. They seem to have trouble understanding that.

A token on myfreecams is ten cents. While I do not doubt that some girls have made good money on the cam sites, a review of the pink site will demonstrate that many girls are also struggling to make any money at all.

Frankly the cam sites are the current version of the old phone sex lines so in that regard they are a vast improvement.
I suspect that for every one making a thousand dollars a week there are a thousand barely earning anything.
